What Is Heepsy? Influencer Search With a Free Plan

By Joris van Huët · Heepsy's own site

The short answer: if you are still testing whether creators can sell your product, Heepsy's free plan is enough to find out: 500 search results and 10 advanced profiles a month, no card and no time limit (free plan article). Heepsy now describes itself as an influencer marketing platform rather than a database: it searches 20M+ creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, flags suspicious followers, and handles outreach, payments, content tracking and reports (homepage).

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Before you upgrade:

  1. Results are billed by the page. Each page of search results uses 24 credits, and changing a filter starts a new search (credits article). For example, the free 500 results cover 20 pages (20 x 24 = 480), which is four searches of five pages each.
  2. Start from creators you already know. A search by exact handle costs 1 credit, and lookalike search finds creators similar to ones you trust (credits article). Begin with the accounts that already tag your brand.
  3. Set the bar before you look. Decide the share of real followers and the audience country you need first; the advanced profile shows real versus suspicious followers, location, age, gender and interests (advanced profile article).

What it covers

Search runs in four modes: a prompt for AI search, text match on bios and captions, lookalike, and exact handle (search article). Only public accounts with at least 1,000 followers and two posts appear (minimum requirements). An advanced profile adds engagement against benchmarks, an estimated cost per post, posting frequency, the authenticity breakdown and a public contact email where one exists.

Projects then carry each campaign: a list, a board, the creators' content, payments and an automatic report (project article). Paying creators through Heepsy adds a 3.50% processing fee to the processor's own charge (payments fee).

Who it suits

A DTC brand on Shopify or WooCommerce, or a small agency, running its first creator programme on a marketing budget rather than an enterprise contract. It suits less well a team that wants to automate searches: the terms forbid scrapers and bots (scraping policy), and API access is listed only for custom plans on the pricing page.

Finding creators is the easy half. The Dutch regulator ACM holds both the influencer and the company that hires them responsible for advertising being recognisable, and says a tag of the brand alone does not make it so (ACM guideline, section 6). Heepsy's content tracking collects each creator's posts by mention and hashtag, which makes it the place to check every paid post carries its label.

Prices

In US dollars, checked on 26 October 2026 on the Heepsy pricing page:

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annually, per monthSearch results a monthAdvanced profiles a monthOutreach

Starter$89$695,000100300 emails
Plus$199$14925,000500500 sequences
Advanced$299$229100,0002,0002,000 sequences

The pricing page leads with the annual figure and prints the monthly one underneath, and Heepsy does not give refunds (refund policy). An annual plan therefore pays a year ahead for outreach and tracking that the free plan never let you try; buy one month on monthly billing first.

How it compares

Modash. Modash covers 380M+ creators with more than 1,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and its Essentials plan costs $199 a month billed yearly, $2,388 a year, with an MCP connector for AI tools on every plan (Modash pricing). A larger index and AI-tool access against Heepsy's free tier and LinkedIn coverage.

HypeAuditor. HypeAuditor goes deeper on one question, whether an audience is real, with a quality score from 1 to 100 built on 15 metrics, and sells through a demo (AQS article). Pick it when fraud is the risk you are pricing.

FAQ

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?

No. Every signup starts on the permanent free plan, which has no outreach emails, 3 seats and 1 project (free plan article).

Do opened profiles stay open?

Within a billing cycle, yes. When the cycle renews, every advanced profile closes again and reopening one uses a new credit (credits article).

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. There is no annual lock-in, and access lasts until the end of the period you paid for, per the FAQ on the pricing page.
