What Is TrendTrack? Ecommerce Ad and Store Intelligence
By Joris van Huët · TrendTrack's own site
The short answer: If you want TrendTrack for your competitors' ads, skip the $49 Starter plan: it opens the store database but not the ad library, which starts on Pro at $89 a month on monthly billing (pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). TrendTrack is a research tool for ecommerce that follows stores, ads, emails and products across Shopify, Meta, TikTok and Google, refreshed every 24 hours.

Rule of thumb before you pick a plan:
- Work out the year before you commit to it. Annual billing takes 30% off, so Pro costs $62 a month instead of $89 (pricing). For example, a year of Pro is $89 x 12 = $1,068 on monthly billing against $62 x 12 = $744 billed yearly, a difference of $324.
- Bring the competitor list you already argue about. Brandtracker follows 10 brands on Pro and 20 on Business, and a followed brand stays open without spending one of your weekly Lookups (pricing).
- Count what reaches a brief. The test of the subscription is how many saved ads become a test in your own account each month.
What TrendTrack does
It joins four libraries around one brand: a shop database with traffic, technologies and similar shops; an ad library covering Meta, TikTok and Google; an email library of flows and campaigns; and Brandtracker, a watchlist of competitors' active ads, emails, traffic and launches (homepage, Brandtracker). TrendTrack says it indexes 2 to 3 million new ads every 24 hours.
From Pro up, the same data reaches agents. A remote MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Manus, and an n8n template posts a competitor digest to Slack on a schedule (MCP page).
Who it suits
It suits DTC brands, media buyers and creative strategists who watch a set list of competitors. A B2B team with no store to compare gets far less, because the product is built around the Shopify and Meta ecosystem.
The spend numbers need a footnote. The EU Digital Services Act obliges very large platforms to keep a public ad repository that records, for each ad, when it ran and how many people it reached, with a breakdown by member state where the ad was targeted; spend is not on that list (DSA, Article 39). TrendTrack's pricing page describes its EU reach and budget data as estimated and sourced from Meta's transparency report, while its homepage calls the spend data precise. Read spend as reach times an assumed price, for EU and UK ads only. The same law makes that repository public and searchable, so a one-off look at one competitor costs nothing in the platform's own ad library; TrendTrack earns its fee when you watch many brands every day.
Prices on 26 October 2026
From the pricing page, in USD, checked on 26 October 2026. Quarterly billing takes 15% off.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly, per month | Ad library | Lookups | Brands tracked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49 | $34 | No | 5 a week | 2 |
| Pro | $89 | $62 | Yes | 30 a week | 10 |
| Business | $159 | $111 | Yes | Unlimited | 20 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Yes | Unlimited | Custom |
Business adds the advertiser search and 3 seats. Leaving the ad library off Starter means anyone who came for competitors' ads pays Pro's price from the first month. Thirty per cent off a year is priced to settle the question before you know whether briefs come out of the tool; a quarter at 15% off answers it for less (pricing).
TrendTrack next to Winning Hunter
Winning Hunter puts the Facebook ad library in its entry plan: Basic at $49 a month on monthly billing includes Facebook ads and tracks 25 stores and 2 brands, and Standard at $79 adds TikTok and Pinterest ads (checked on 26 October 2026). TrendTrack lists Google ads where Winning Hunter lists Pinterest. Choose Winning Hunter for product research on a small budget; choose TrendTrack for watching a fixed list of competitors across ads, emails and stores.

How to use TrendTrack sets up a competitor watchlist and a daily digest that an agent writes and a person reads.
FAQ
Does the Starter plan include ads?
No. Starter covers shops, with 5 Lookups a week and 2 tracked brands; ads, products and emails start on Pro (pricing).
What is a Lookup?
It opens one brand for 24 hours: its shop analytics, ads, landing pages and emails. A brand followed in Brandtracker stays open without using one (pricing).
Can I query TrendTrack from Claude?
Yes, on Pro and above. Add the connector https://api.trendtrack.io/v1/mcp in Claude, after an admin has enabled Public API access for the workspace (Claude guide).
