What Is Coefficient? Live Business Data in Your Spreadsheet
By Joris van Huët · Coefficient's own site
The short answer: if one person keeps a pipeline or revenue sheet fed from HubSpot or Salesforce, Coefficient's Starter plan at $49 a month billed annually refreshes it daily; the day a second person needs to edit the imports, the price becomes Pro at $99 per user, because Starter is sold to one user only (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). Coefficient is a Google Sheets and Excel add-on that imports live data from 150+ business systems and runs AI agents on it (homepage).
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
What decides the plan:
- Editors, multiplied. For example, three editors on Pro cost 3 x $99 = $297 a month on annual billing, or 3 x $119 = $357 on monthly billing, with five users at most (pricing page).
- The systems you already run. HubSpot, Salesforce and Google Ads are standard sources; Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker, NetSuite and five others are premium, and the pricing table lists premium sources only under Enterprise.
- Refreshes a month. Manual and scheduled runs share one allowance: 50 on Free, 500 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro, reset on the 1st (import refresh article). Eight imports refreshed daily for 30 days use 8 x 30 = 240.
What it does inside the sheet
Imports start in the sidebar: pick a source, its objects and fields, add filters, and the rows land in a tab with a refresh button (HubSpot article). Because each refresh rewrites the import, Snapshots copy a tab on a schedule to keep history (snapshots article).
Exports send rows back to systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot, within the export sizes on the pricing page. The Alerts Agent turns a plain-language prompt into a Slack, Teams or email alert (Alerts Agent article), and the homepage lists agents for dashboards, APIs without a connector and site scraping.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits RevOps, finance and marketing leads whose reporting already lives in a spreadsheet and starts in a CRM. It suits less well a team that reports in Data Studio, since Coefficient lives in Sheets and Excel, or one whose data sits in a warehouse and that wants no Enterprise quote.
Prices, in dollars
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page. Annual billing saves 17%, and the FAQ offers startups up to 50% off for the first year.

How it compares
Zapier runs workflows across 9,000+ apps and charges by tasks, from 100 a month free to Professional at $29.99 a month on monthly billing (Zapier pricing). Choose Zapier when the job ends as an action in another app; choose Coefficient when it ends as a table someone reads.
Coupler.io also loads data into Sheets and Excel, but prices by accounts and destinations, with unlimited users from its $99 Active plan billed annually (Coupler.io pricing). Several editors favour Coupler.io's unlimited users; a sheet that must send rows back to the CRM is what Coefficient's exports are for.
Read the homepage beside the pricing table. Its first customer quote praises a spreadsheet connected straight to the company's data warehouse, likened to having "my own instance of Snowflake", and the pricing table places Snowflake and BigQuery among the premium sources only the Enterprise column includes, so the use case it sells first is the one priced on request.
Getting started
The Pro trial runs 30 days, then the account moves to Free unless you choose a plan (pricing FAQ). How to use Coefficient builds a weekly HubSpot pipeline sheet with snapshots and a Slack alert.
FAQ
Can colleagues without a licence use my Coefficient sheet?
They can read it through a share link, but cannot edit imports or schedule refreshes (pricing FAQ).
Does a refresh add rows or replace them?
It replaces them: every refresh wipes the import and writes it again (import refresh article), so keep history with Snapshots.
Is there a free plan?
Yes: imports of up to 5,000 rows and 50 refreshes a month. Automatic refreshes need a paid plan, per the pricing FAQ.
