What Is Landbot? No-Code Chatbots for Web and WhatsApp
By Joris van Huët · Landbot's own site
The short answer: under 100 conversations a month you are still finding out whether visitors will talk to a bot at all, and Landbot's Free plan, with the full builder and a WhatsApp test number, covers that; once leads must reach HubSpot or your own WhatsApp number, the floor is Professional at $110 a month, or $220 with WhatsApp, on monthly billing (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). Landbot is a no-code builder for AI agents and rule-based chatbots that qualify leads, book meetings and answer questions on a website, in WhatsApp and in Messenger.

What decides the plan:
- Chats, counted per 24 hours across channels. For example, 3,000 chats in a month on Professional is 500 over the 2,500 included, one 500-chat pack at $25, so $110 + $25 = $135, per the pricing page.
- The CRM you already run. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and webhooks start on Professional; Starter connects basic tools such as Mailchimp.
- Where visitors leave. The Analyze section shows drop-off points, per the AI Skills page. Read it before buying more chats.
What Landbot builds
A flow is a chain of blocks: buttons, conditions, a Lead Scoring block, integrations and a handover to a person in the shared inbox. The AI Agent block adds open conversation inside that structure, answering from text, files or scraped pages and handing back to the flow when an exit condition is met. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor build agents, asking your approval before each publish.
Who it fits
Marketing teams replacing a long form with a conversation they can edit without an engineering ticket. The pricing FAQ says chats are not used to train models and a DPA is available. It fits less well a support desk with many agents, since extra seats cost $25 a month each, or a brand whose conversations start in Instagram comments, a channel the plan table does not list.
Plans and Meta's charges
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page, in USD; accounts billed from the EU pay in euros.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Billed annually, per month | Chats a month | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 100 | 1 |
| Starter | $45 | $36 | 500 | 2 |
| Professional | $110 | $88 | 2,500 | 3 |
| Professional WA | $220 | $176 | 2,500 | 3 |
| Business | Custom | Custom | Custom | From 5 |
WhatsApp carries a second bill. Meta charges per delivered message; for a Dutch number its euro rate card, effective 1 October 2026, lists €0.1323 per marketing message and €0.0414 per utility or service message, with 1,000 service messages per number each month free (Meta pricing). Landbot is paid twice on a WhatsApp campaign: once for the $220 plan that unlocks your own number, and again at €0.05 on every marketing, utility or authentication message it relays, so a Dutch marketing message costs €0.1323 + €0.05 = €0.1823 before the plan.
Against Manychat, Botpress and Tidio
- Manychat bills by the people who interact each month and starts from Instagram, TikTok and Messenger DMs. Conversations that begin under social posts belong there; ones that begin on your site suit Landbot.
- Botpress sells an agent studio and engine; its Team plan, $750 a month billed annually for 1,500 conversations, adds routing and role-based access, per its pricing page. It suits teams that want agent infrastructure more than a marketer's builder.
- Tidio pairs live chat with its Lyro AI agent and counts only conversations a human agent replied to, per its pricing page. If people finish most chats, that model is kinder; if the bot does, Landbot's is.
