What Is Mailshake? Cold Email With a Phone Dialer
By Joris van Huët · Mailshake's own site
The short answer: Mailshake is a cold email and sales engagement tool that keeps the setup short: sequences with follow-ups, a Lead Catcher queue for replies, free warm-up, and a power dialer on its top plan. It suits founders and small sales teams who want to start sending quickly and are happy to pay upfront, because there is no free trial.

The product in brief
Mailshake sends campaigns from your own mailbox, so prospects see your address. Its getting-started guide describes a campaign wizard that moves through settings, prospect import, sequence messages, per-prospect personalisation and launch. Follow-ups stop once a prospect replies. Replies land in the Lead Catcher, where each is answered and marked won, lost or ignored.
The pricing page lists the rest: A/B testing, an AI writer called SHAKEspeare, unlimited warm-up, email verification, email rotation from the middle plan, Salesforce, Pipedrive and HubSpot integrations, 1,000+ more through Zapier, and Data Finder for looking up decision makers by role, location or company. The top plan adds phone numbers, a power dialer, call scripts and tasks.
Who it is for, and who it is not
It suits a small team that wants outreach without a long setup, and sellers who call North American prospects: Sales Engagement includes unlimited free dialer minutes to North American numbers. Agencies can work in it too, though the FAQ recommends that each client creates its own team and adds the agency as a user, so the client is billed.
It suits less well a buyer who wants to test first, since payment is collected upfront and cancelling does not refund the current period. Starter caps sending at 1,500 emails a month from one address. Mailshake also limits Microsoft and SMTP mailboxes to 1,000 emails a day, per its sending limits article.
Prospects in the United States bring CAN-SPAM into play. The FTC's compliance guide covers business-to-business email as well, requires a working opt-out honoured within 10 business days, and holds both the company promoted and the one that sends liable. In the EU and the UK the starting point is consent for individuals, and the detail differs by country.
Plans and what they cost
Checked on 23 October 2026 on the Mailshake pricing page, in USD. The FAQ says billing is based on the number of users purchased, and each paid user lets the team connect one more mail account.

FAQ
Is there a free trial?
No. The pricing FAQ says payment is collected upfront, with concierge onboarding, deliverability training and support resources offered instead.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the paid period ends and get no refund for it. Campaign data is deleted 30 days after the subscription expires, according to Mailshake's billing article.
Can one campaign send from several addresses?
Yes. Email rotation splits a campaign evenly across the addresses you select, up to 50, and each address can have its own sending calendar, per the rotation article.
