What Is Plerdy? Heatmaps Tied to Ad Channels and Revenue

By Joris van Huët · Plerdy's own site

The short answer: if you pay for traffic and suspect the landing pages rather than the ads, Plerdy is built around that question. Its Traffic Value report puts every channel and landing page in one table with sessions, conversions, revenue and a diagnosis, beside heatmaps, session replay and rage-click flags, and paid plans start at $21 a month billed annually (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). The Free plan runs Traffic Value too, with one month of data, per Plerdy's wasted ad spend guide.

Rule of thumb for sizing a plan:

  1. Count heatmap pageviews per day, per site. One package covers one site, with subdomains combined, and heatmap limits are pageviews a day: 500 on Startup, 1,500 on Scale, per the pricing page. For example, a site with 1,200 pageviews a day needs Scale, $64 a month or $42 a month billed annually.
  2. Start from the GA4 numbers you have. The pricing FAQ says to size video sessions from your daily sessions in GA4, and Plerdy's event tracking sends its own events back to GA4.
  3. Judge it on one comparison. Traffic Value sets each channel's revenue and conversion rate against the previous period (Traffic Value page), so fix one page and read the change.

What Plerdy does

The homepage opens on the problem: "You pay for the ads. Your site doesn't sell." Behind it sit click and scroll heatmaps, session replay, rage-click alerts, error monitoring, ecommerce analytics, funnels, popups, A/B tests and a daily SEO check.

Traffic Value is the distinctive part. Its diagnosis is rule-based, built from sessions, conversion rate, bounce rate and whether the channel is paid; pages under 30 sessions are marked as still collecting data, and a form or thank-you page goal replaces ecommerce tracking where there is none (Traffic Value FAQ). An MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT read the same reports.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits a business owner or marketing lead who buys traffic from Google Ads or paid social and wants to know which landing pages lose it, and an agency that shares a read-only report with clients. It suits less well a team whose buyers return days later through another channel: a purchase counts only inside the session it happened in, per the wasted ad spend guide.

Three Enterprise tiers run from $149 to $390 a month, or $97 to $253 billed annually, and extra limits cost $9 to $49 a month each. The 14-day trial runs at Scale limits and then falls back to the Free package, so Scale becomes the plan every other tier gets measured against.

How it compares

Hotjar. Its pricing address now opens Contentsquare's pricing page, where the Free plan covers up to 200,000 monthly sessions with one month of data and Growth starts at $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly. Plerdy's pricing page quotes Hotjar at $171 a month; a rival's price on a seller's page is a snapshot the seller chose, so check the rival's own page.

Lucky Orange. Counts sessions, from $32 a month billed annually for 3,500, with surveys and live chat in every plan and its Discovery AI analyst as an add-on (pricing page). Choose it to talk to visitors; choose Plerdy to tie pages to ad channels.

FAQ

Does Plerdy credit a purchase made days after the ad click?

No. Plerdy counts a conversion in the session it happens in, and a session belongs to the channel it came from, while Google Ads credits the ad for up to 30 days by default, per the wasted ad spend guide.

Is the MCP connector on the Free plan?

No. The MCP page includes it in all paid plans and their trials, with a daily request limit that grows with the plan.

How many sites does one plan cover?

One. The pricing FAQ lets subdomains and cross-domain sites share one account and its limits.
