What Is REVIEWS.io? Product Reviews and Google Stars

By Joris van Huët · REVIEWS.io's own site

The short answer: if you suspect the $29 plan is too small for a review tool whose point is stars in Google, the plan table agrees: Essentials collects reviews for up to 300 invitations a month, but Google Seller Ratings and Shopping stars start on Start-Up at $79 a month for up to 1,000 invitations (monthly billing, pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). REVIEWS.io is an ecommerce review platform that collects verified company and product reviews, photos and videos from buyers and shows them on product pages and in Google.

What sets the price:

  1. Invitations, which track orders. For example, a shop with 2,000 orders a month is past Start-Up's 1,500-order step at $90, so it lands on the 2,500-invitation step at $100 a month, per the pricing page.
  2. The reviews you already have. Product reviews from another platform can be imported; company reviews on Trustpilot stay there, because Trustpilot holds the publishing rights, per the homepage FAQ.
  3. The collection rate. The same FAQ calls anything above 5% good and says most customers who invite regularly see 3 to 6%. Measure yours monthly.

What REVIEWS.io does

Invitations go out when an order reaches a set status, Fulfilled for Shopify, after a delay set in a Flow, per How Review Invitations Work; Review Booster invites past buyers from a CSV. Reviews appear in on-site widgets and in Google: Seller Ratings in ads, stars on Shopping listings and, from Grow, a Google Business Profile sync, per the Google integration article. It is one of the products of Clearer, per the Clearer about page.

The rule that shapes review tools in the EU

Since 28 May 2022 the EU's Omnibus Directive treats as material whether and how a trader checks that reviews come from people who used or bought the product, and bans claiming they do without reasonable steps to check. Invitations tied to an order are such a step, and REVIEWS.io's auto-publishing article publishes genuine negative reviews, releasing any held back by a star threshold after 14 days.

It suits shops on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Magento that want reviews they can export, plus Google stars; less so a store on several country domains, since each top-level domain is a separate subscription.

Plans

Monthly billing in USD at 1,000 average monthly orders, checked on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page; annual billing saves 20% and is set in the dashboard.

PlanPrice a monthReview invitationsWhat it adds
Essentials$29Up to 300Product and company reviews, photo and video, widgets
Start-Up$79Up to 1,000Google Seller Ratings, rich snippets, review importing, Klaviyo
Grow$175Up to 1,000Reputation manager, AI review summary, surveys
Plus$500Up to 7,500AI review replies, translation, API access

The entry price sits one tier below the feature most buyers arrive for: Essentials at $29 does the asking, Start-Up at $79 sends the results to Google, so the stars that brought you to the pricing page are sold on the second card, not the first.

Against Trustpilot, Judge.me and Yotpo

  • Trustpilot keeps reviews on its own public profile, where they stay if you leave; Plus costs $319 a month per domain on annual billing for 300 invitations, per its pricing page. Choose it when a third-party profile is what your buyers check.
  • Judge.me has a free plan with unlimited reviews and says its $15-a-month Awesome plan is the most you can ever pay, per its pricing page. For a Shopify store that needs product reviews and Google Shopping and little else, that is hard to beat.
  • Yotpo starts Reviews at $89 a month on monthly billing for up to 500 orders, with seller ratings on Pro at $169, per its pricing page. It fits brands also buying Yotpo's loyalty product.
