What Is Upfluence? Creator Search, CRM and Affiliate Sales

By Joris van Huët · Upfluence's own site

The short answer: if you sell through Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce and want creators paid on the sales they bring, Upfluence is built around that store: it finds creators among your customers, issues their promo codes and links, and pays them, for a fixed platform fee with no percentage of sales and a minimum contract of 12 months (homepage, pricing page, read on 26 October 2026). Its AI co-pilot is called Jaice.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Before the demo:

  1. Put a percentage model beside the quote. For example, GRIN's Growth plan is $500 a month plus a 7% management fee on wallet deposits, so paying creators $10,000 in a month costs $500 + $700 = $1,200 there (GRIN pricing). Ask Upfluence for its fixed fee and compare the two at your own creator budget.
  2. The customers you already have. Live Capture can run a retroactive analysis over past customers in Shopify or Klaviyo, not only new ones (retroactive analysis). That count sizes the programme.
  3. The report you will be judged on. The Sales Reporting dashboard shows sales, orders, items and clicks, broken down by creator (sales reporting). Agree the target before you sign.

What it does

Search covers a database of 14M+ creators, either by filters or by describing the creator in plain language to Jaice (community article). Live Capture checks every new customer or newsletter subscriber against that database and adds the creators it finds to a list, with their number of purchases and total spend (Live Capture).

Then come mass email from your own Gmail or Outlook, campaigns Jaice sets up from your website, unique codes and links, shipping, payments with identity checks (homepage), and a brand safety scan of each creator's past year (brand safety). An MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor is in beta, on request (MCP article).

Who it suits

Ecommerce and Amazon brands running affiliate or ambassador programmes, and their agencies. Less so a team testing creators for a quarter, since the contract runs a year.

The Dutch advertising code for social media makes the brand responsible for more than a clause: you must tell creators about the code, require it in the agreement and step in when a label is missing, and a contract term alone is not enough (RSM). For affiliate posts it rules out "affiliate" or "commission" on their own as a label. The campaign emails in Upfluence are where that instruction goes.

What it costs

Upfluence quotes each customer separately, by module, team size and programme volume, as a fixed platform fee; there is no mandatory setup fee, a dedicated account manager comes with every plan, and the free trial is set up after a first call (pricing FAQ, read on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page).

ModuleWhat it adds
Find CreatorsSearch, brand safety screening, recruitment pages, lookalikes, mass outreach, AI email assistant
Scale ProgramsMarketplace, email sequences, Jaice campaign creation, ecommerce integrations, CRM, codes and affiliate links, product shipping, sales dashboard
Auto-pilotPayments through Upfluence Pay in several currencies, card or wire, automatic forms

Upfluence argues that a fixed fee means the more your creators sell, the less you pay in proportion. That is true, and it runs the other way too: in a month when creators sell nothing, the fee is owed in full, twelve months running.

How it compares

HypeAuditor. HypeAuditor is the deeper vetting tool, with an audience quality score from 1 to 100 and a fraud split of every audience, also sold by demo (HypeAuditor pricing). Vetting first: HypeAuditor. Paying creators on sales: Upfluence.

Insense. Insense sells ad content from a vetted marketplace by the quarter, from $500 a month plus a fee on creator payments (Insense pricing). Videos for ads: Insense. A programme of affiliates: Upfluence.

GRIN. GRIN publishes its prices, from a free plan with a 20% fee on wallet deposits to $1,500 a month with 5% (GRIN pricing). A shrinking percentage against a fixed fee.

Getting started

How to use Upfluence finds the creators already among your customers and turns them into tracked affiliates.

FAQ

Is there a free trial?

Yes, configured for your use case after an initial call; until then, the free influencer tools show the data (pricing page).

Does Upfluence take a share of creator sales?

No. Every plan is a fixed platform fee, and Upfluence takes no percentage of sales (pricing page).

Can I use it from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, once you are given access to the beta MCP server: it signs in with your Upfluence account and lets the assistant search creators, pull profiles and check audiences (MCP article).
