What Is Insense? A Marketplace for UGC and Creator Ads
By Joris van Huët · Insense's own site
The short answer: if you need a steady supply of short videos for paid social rather than reach on a creator's feed, Insense is built for it: 115k+ vetted creators in 57+ countries, applications within 48 hours and licensed content within 14 days, per its homepage. The Brand plan costs $500 a month, billed quarterly at $1,500, plus a 10% marketplace fee on what you pay creators (checked on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page).
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
Price one quarter before you start:
- Plan, creators and fee together. For example, six UGC videos at Insense's starting price of $100 each is 6 x $100 = $600, plus the 10% fee is $660, plus $1,500 for the quarter: $2,160 in total, using the figures on the pricing page.
- The ads that already work for you. Their hooks and calls to action draft the brief, and lookalike profiles point Insense at creators like the ones already making them (brief guide).
- Where you will read the result. Insense's performance dashboard counts assets and spend per deal; cost per result lives in your ad account, so tag ads by creator.
What Insense does
A brand writes a brief, Insense reviews it, matching creators apply, and the brand hires, ships product and approves the content, with up to three revisions each (content quality article). Campaign types include UGC, influencer posts, product seeding, Meta Partnership Ads, TikTok Spark Ads, TikTok Shop and affiliate (pricing page). Once content is approved and paid for, the brand holds perpetual digital rights to use it across digital channels while the creator keeps the copyright.
Outside the marketplace, an outreach tool reaches 7M+ influencers on Meta and TikTok, per the homepage, and the Creator Ads Hub sends Partnership Ads requests to any eligible creator (Partnership Ads article).
Who it suits
DTC brands, apps and agencies that buy ad creative monthly and test hooks at volume. Less so a brand that wants one video, since the Trial alone costs $650 (pricing page), or a team whose question is whether a large creator's audience is real.
When a creator also posts the video on their own channel, the 2026 update of the Dutch advertising code for social media counts UGC creators as distributors whatever their audience size, so that post needs a label such as "AD" in its first line (RSM). Put the label in the brief whenever posting is part of the deal.
Plans and fees
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the Insense pricing page, in US dollars; creator payments come on top of every plan:
| Plan | Price | Billing | Marketplace fee | Seats | Brands | Creators |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | From $650 | One month | 20% | 1 | 1 | Up to 10, one campaign |
| Brand | From $500 a month | $1,500 a quarter | 10% | 2 | 1 | Unlimited |
| Agency | From $800 a month | $2,400 a quarter | 7% | 4 | 5 | Unlimited |
An extra seat is $30 a month and an extra brand $100, per the same pricing page. The Trial moves to the quarterly Brand plan by itself unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the month ends, per the pricing FAQ, so a test run becomes a three-month commitment by default. Diary the cancellation date on day one.
How it compares
Upfluence. Upfluence starts from your own customers: Live Capture checks buyers and newsletter subscribers against its creator database, and its fee is fixed with no share of sales, on a 12-month minimum (Upfluence pricing). Choose it to run an affiliate programme; choose Insense to buy ad content by the quarter.
Heepsy. Heepsy is the do-it-yourself route: a free plan to search and vet creators, outreach from $89 a month, and a 3.50% processing fee on creator payments (Heepsy pricing, payments fee). Insense's creators come through its own education programme (homepage).
Getting started

FAQ
Who owns the videos?
The creator keeps the copyright and grants you full digital rights, for good, once the content is approved and paid; full intellectual property rights need a separate contract through the managed service (pricing FAQ).
What if no suitable creators apply?
Insense guarantees at least 5 applicants who match the profile in your brief, or it refunds the subscription; the guarantee covers the brief's criteria, not taste (pricing FAQ).
How fast does content arrive?
Applications usually start one to three business days after the brief goes live, and content can arrive within 7 to 10 business days of hiring and shipping (pricing FAQ).
