What Is Visme? Branded Reports, Decks and Infographics
By Joris van Huët · Visme's own site
The short answer: you are not misreading it: Visme's help pages give 500 AI credits a month to a plan called Pro, and the pricing page sells that same allowance as Business, at $24.75 a person a month billed yearly ($297) or $59 month to month (pricing page, AI Designer guide, checked on 26 October 2026). Whatever the name, that tier is where the brand kit, analytics and PowerPoint downloads begin, so a marketing team that ships branded reports, decks and infographics from one tool starts there. A solo maker of social graphics can stop at Starter.

Before you pick a tier:
- Monthly billing costs more than double. For example, Starter is $29 a month on monthly billing or $147 a year on yearly billing, so a year paid month by month comes to 12 x $29 = $348, per the pricing page.
- The formats you already send. If decks leave your team as PowerPoint files, Starter stops short: its plan card lists JPG, PNG and PDF downloads, and PPTX, HTML5, video and GIF start on Business.
- How you will know it was read. Business adds analytics on published projects: views, unique visits, average time and completion, with a CSV export, per the analytics guide. A view is a visit, not a person.
One editor, many formats
Visme's homepage describes an AI-powered content platform for branded presentations, reports, proposals and visual content, and lists infographics, charts, forms and video beside them. The AI Designer works as a chat: it asks about topic, audience and tone, takes a document or link as its source, and drafts up to 10 pages, which the AI Designer guide calls a structured first draft.
Data sets it apart from a slide tool. A chart can read from Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Smartsheet or SurveyMonkey and pull fresh values with a Re-sync Data button, per the import guide. The Brand Wizard reads your website and offers the logo, fonts and colours it finds.
Where it fits
Marketing teams that turn the same numbers into several shapes: the monthly report, the board slide, the infographic for LinkedIn. One brand kit covers all of them, and only administrators and the Designer or Marketing Manager roles can change it.
It fits less well a team that only ever needs slides, or a company that needs single sign-on, which sits on Enterprise, quoted from 10 users.
Plans and prices
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the Visme pricing page, in USD, per person:
| Basic | Starter | Business | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Billed yearly, per month | Free | $12.25 ($147 a year) | $24.75 ($297 a year) | Custom, from 10 users |
| Billed monthly | Free | $29 | $59 | Custom |
| Storage | 500MB | 1GB | 10GB | 25GB per user |
| AI credits a month | 10 | 200 | 500 | Unlimited |
| Downloads | JPG, PNG, PDF | JPG, PNG, PDF | Adds PPTX, HTML5, video, GIF | Adds SCORM and xAPI |
| Brand kit and analytics | No | No | Yes | Yes |
Basic caps a project at 50 slides or pages. The pricing page opens on yearly billing, so the $12.25 a visitor sees first is a $147 charge in one go, and the flexible version of the same plan, $29 a month, sits one click away on the other toggle.
Next to Piktochart and Prezi
- Piktochart costs less a head for static visuals: Pro is $10 per member a month billed annually, though PDF and PowerPoint downloads and the brand kit wait for Business at $17, per its pricing page. For a downloaded infographic, that price decides it; for a live link with forms and view tracking, Visme.
- Prezi covers presentations, videos and infographics too, but presentation analytics appears only on Premium at $29 a month billed annually, per its pricing page. For tracked decks alone, Visme's Business at $24.75 costs less.
Getting started
The free Basic plan is enough to judge the editor: 50 slides a project, 10 AI credits and JPG, PNG and PDF downloads. How to use Visme builds a monthly marketing report whose charts read from a Google Sheet.
FAQ
How many AI drafts does a plan buy?
The AI Designer spends 2 credits a generation, so Business's 500 monthly credits allow 500 / 2 = 250 drafts and Starter's 200 allow 100, per the pricing page.
Who can change the brand kit?
Administrators and users with the Designer or Marketing Manager role, per the Brand Wizard guide. Running the wizard again adds options instead of overwriting the kit.
What happens to published projects if I cancel?
Paid features last until the billing period ends, and Visme's FAQ warns that links and embeds of a cancelled workspace may stop working. Download what matters first; downloaded files stay yours.
