What Is Vista Social? Publishing, Reviews and DM Automation

By Joris van Huët · Vista Social's own site

The short answer: if your social plan depends on turning comments into conversations, Vista Social is built for that job: DM automations are on every plan, and Professional, at $80 a month on monthly billing, includes 15 social profiles, 2 users and 10,000 DM contacts (pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026). It is a social media platform for agencies, multi-location brands and in-house teams that adds reviews, listening and AI agents to scheduling and an inbox.

Before you buy:

  1. Price the add-ons with the plan. For example, Professional with X publishing at $29 and web listening at $75 comes to $80 + $29 + $75 = $184 a month on monthly billing, per the pricing page.
  2. Count the people you already have. Professional includes 2 users, Advanced 3 and Scale 4; extra seats are listed as customizable, with no public price.
  3. Decide what the automations must record. Data collection from DMs and AI intent detection start on Advanced, per Vista's data collection article. For leads rather than replies, Professional is half the job.

What Vista Social covers

Publishing covers eleven networks, Reddit and Bluesky among them, per Vista's llms.txt. The inbox gathers comments, DMs and mentions, review management covers Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor, and DM automations answer a keyword in a comment with a DM and a link.

Ask Vista, the AI layer, and an MCP server for outside assistants come on every plan. Its agents, which run on a schedule as a weekly performance reporter or an hourly review watcher, start on Advanced (agents article), as do Zapier and Make.

Where it fits

It fits a brand or agency that sells through Instagram and Facebook conversations, and a multi-location business that wants reviews and posts in one place. A team that only publishes pays for automation it will not use.

What it costs

White label and client profile connect arrive on Scale, and employee advocacy is an add-on at $199 a month for 25 employees (pricing page). The trial is 14 days with no card.

How it compares

Rival prices were checked on 24 October 2026, each on its vendor's page.

Hootsuite. Two people on Hootsuite Standard cost 2 x $99 = $198 a month billed annually for 10 accounts (Hootsuite plans), while Vista's yearly Professional works out at $950 / 12 = $79.17 a month for both. Hootsuite's case rests on its care inbox and listening depth.

Metricool. Metricool's Advanced tier, from $67 a month on monthly billing for 15 brands, brings approvals and its API for Zapier and Make (Metricool pricing). It is the analytics-first choice; Vista is the conversation-first one.

RecurPost. RecurPost caps posting per account per day, from 10 on Starter to 80 on Agency, and centres on recurring schedules (RecurPost pricing). For a library that repeats, it is simpler; for DMs and reviews, Vista goes further.

Getting started

A pricing page is written to sell past the headline plan, and Vista's add-on lines are where the bill grows, so price in the add-ons you will use. How to use Vista Social turns Instagram comments into leads step by step, from Vista's help centre.

FAQ

Is Vista Social approved by Meta?

Vista's Meta article says so, and adds that Vista cannot lift restrictions Meta imposes on an account.

Can I listen beyond my own profiles?

Yes, with the listening add-on at $75 a month for social, web and news, per the pricing page.

Do automations work on ads?

No. Vista's data collection article rules out paid ads and dark posts because of API limits.
