What Is Expandi? Cloud LinkedIn Outreach per Seat

By Joris van Huët · Expandi's own site

The short answer: for a marketer or founder prospecting from one LinkedIn profile, Expandi's Business plan costs $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually, and a team past 10 seats moves to a quoted Agency plan (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). Expandi is a cloud tool from ProfitSoft BV in Eindhoven that sends connection requests, messages, InMails and email follow-ups from your own profile, with each account on a dedicated IP address in the country you choose.

Three checks before the 7-day trial:

  1. The seat count. For example, three reps on Business pay 3 x $99 = $297 a month, or 3 x $79 = $237 on annual billing, using the pricing page. One seat runs one LinkedIn account at a time, per the seats article.
  2. The audiences you already have. Lead lists come from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator searches, groups, events, post engagement and CSV files, per the lead list collection.
  3. The ramp before any verdict. The gradual warm-up starts at 5 actions a day and adds 3 every two days until it reaches 21, according to the warm-up article. Judge acceptance after that, not during it.

What Expandi does

Campaigns come in types, from a connector campaign for strangers and a messenger campaign for first-degree contacts to group, event and free Open InMail campaigns, plus a builder for your own flow, per the campaign types article. Tasks run in the cloud during your active hours, and daily limits are ranges: set 20 to 27 messages and Expandi picks a number inside it each day, per the daily limits article.

The newest piece is an MCP connection, marked as a private beta on the homepage. Claude or ChatGPT can build lead lists, draft campaigns and draft replies inside your account, and the MCP article says nothing is launched or sent without your approval.

Where it fits, and where it does not

It fits teams that find prospects inside LinkedIn's own communities: event attendees, group members, people who engaged with a post. Agencies get workspaces with roles and, on the Agency plan, white label. It fits less well a team whose volume is email; Expandi's email steps are follow-ups inside a LinkedIn sequence.

LinkedIn decides the risk. Section 8.2 of the User Agreement rules out bots and unauthorised automated methods that add contacts or send messages, and LinkedIn's help page on prohibited software warns that members using such tools risk a restricted or closed account. Expandi's own footer says use is at your own risk. Warm-up and limit ranges lower the odds of a flag; they do not change the contract.

The price per seat

Checked on 26 October 2026 on the Expandi pricing page, in USD:

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annually, per monthWho it is for
Business$99 per seat$79 per seatSmall teams; all features
AgencyQuotedQuotedMore than 10 seats, white label, a dedicated success manager

Image, GIF and video personalisation cost extra. Expandi bills the seat, not a working profile: when LinkedIn restricts an account, the seat stays on the invoice until you transfer it to another profile or remove it, and the seats article names a restricted account as the reason transfers exist.

Against Dripify, HeyReach and Waalaxy

  • Dripify costs less per seat: $79 a month on Pro, or $59 billed annually, per its pricing page, with A/B tests and step analytics on the Advanced tier. Budget per seat decides it.
  • HeyReach bills per connected LinkedIn account and lets users in free, with the Growth plan falling to $59 a sender from ten senders on its pricing page. An agency rotating many profiles through one campaign leans there.
  • Waalaxy starts at $19 a month for 300 invitations, per its pricing page, and launches from ready-made sequences instead of a builder. A founder who wants low cost and no flow design leans there.

Getting started

Before connecting anything, send 20 requests by hand to the audience you plan to automate and count the acceptances; that free test says whether the list deserves a seat. The trial then starts without a charge. How to use Expandi runs one job end to end: following up the attendees of a LinkedIn event.

FAQ

Does Expandi need Sales Navigator?

No. The homepage FAQ recommends it for trust and wider limit ranges, but Expandi runs without it.

Does disconnecting a LinkedIn account cancel the seat?

No. A disconnected seat is still billed until you remove it from the subscription, per the seats article.

What happens to the warm-up if I pause every campaign?

It pauses with its progress saved and resumes with the next active campaign, per the warm-up article.
