What Is Pipedrive? A Sales Pipeline CRM Priced per Seat

By Joris van Huët · Pipedrive's own site

The short answer: if you suspect your team needs a sales pipeline rather than a marketing platform, Pipedrive's pricing agrees: Lite is $14 per seat a month billed annually, and automations and email sync start on Growth at $39, per the pricing page checked on 24 October 2026. It is a CRM for sales teams at small and mid-size companies who work deal by deal and want to see which deals have gone quiet.

Before you start a trial:

  1. Compare the two billing modes. For example, four reps on Growth cost 4 x $39 = $156 a month on annual billing, a single payment of 4 x $468 = $1,872, or 4 x $49 = $196 a month on monthly billing, using the English and Dutch versions of the pricing page.
  2. Bring the spreadsheet you already use. XLS, XLSX and CSV files import with up to 200,000 rows, and deals need a linked person or organisation, per the import guide.
  3. Decide the number you will watch. Deal rotting is on every plan, per the plan features article, so the count of rotting deals each week is a measure you have from day one.

What Pipedrive does

Deals move through pipelines of stages you name, with an optional probability per stage or per deal, and a rotting setting that flags deals left too long in one stage, per the pipeline guide. Around that sit a leads inbox, activities and calendar, and from Growth, email sync and automations built from a trigger, conditions and actions. Premium adds lead capture and routing, scoring and e-signatures.

The Pipedrive MCP server connects ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP assistant on every plan, within token limits that depend on the plan. The assistant can search, create and update deals, contacts and activities, only within the user's permissions, and the actions land in the change log.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits a sales-led company whose day is calls, meetings and proposals, with reps who will log activities. It suits less well a team that wants email marketing or a help desk in the CRM: campaigns are an add-on, and the plans list no help desk.

Prices, checked on 24 October 2026

PlanPer seat a month, billed annuallyBilled monthly
Lite$14 (one payment of $168 a year)$24
Growth$39 ($468 a year)$49
Premium$59 ($708 a year)$79
Ultimate$79 ($948 a year)$99

Annual figures come from the English pricing page and monthly ones from its Dutch version, both in USD and excluding VAT, which EU customers pay unless they give a valid VAT number. Add-ons start from $32.50 for LeadBooster, $16 for Projects, $13.33 for Campaigns, $41 for Web Visitors and $32.50 for Smart Docs. The pricing FAQ says Pipedrive has no hidden costs; the add-on list under the plans is where the bill grows, so price the add-ons you will switch on.

How it compares

Against HubSpot, it is focus against breadth: HubSpot's Sales Hub Professional is $90 per seat a month billed annually plus a required $1,500 onboarding, inside a platform that also sells marketing and service.

Against Zoho CRM, it is the suite around the CRM: Zoho's pricing page starts Standard at $14 per user a month billed annually, the same entry figure, with a free edition for 3 users and the rest of Zoho's apps alongside.

Against Capsule, it is life after the sale: Capsule's Growth plan at $36 a user billed annually includes project boards, where Pipedrive sells projects as an add-on.
