What Is Sitechecker? SEO Monitoring for Client Websites

By Joris van Huët · Sitechecker's own site

The short answer: If you look after 3 to 50 websites and most of the job is spotting what broke before the site owner does, Sitechecker fits: the Standard plan covers 20 websites and 2,500 tracked keywords, with unlimited users, for $249 a month on monthly billing (pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026). It watches sites you control and their Search Console and GA4 data, not markets where you do not rank yet.

Rule of thumb before you pick a plan:

  • Price it per site. On monthly billing, Standard is $249 / 20 = $12.45 a website, Basic $99 / 3 = $33 and Premium $449 / 50 = $8.98, from the pricing page checked on 24 October 2026.
  • Connect what you already have. Linking a Google account during project setup imports Search Console and GA4 data and verifies ownership in the same step, per the project guide.
  • Judge it by its alerts. During the trial, count the alerts for broken pages, pages turned non-indexed and robots.txt changes, which the notifications guide lists, and how many were real.

Four jobs in one project

Each website is a project, and four tools share it. Site Audit checks for more than 300 technical issues, each with a guide to the fix, according to the pricing page. Site Monitoring rescans the site and logs changes to titles, descriptions, H1s, indexation and new, broken or deleted pages. Rank Tracker checks Google, Bing and Yahoo positions daily by country, city and device, per the Rank Tracker guide. The Search Console dashboard stores your data for 12 to 60 months, depending on the plan.

Around those sit AI visibility tracking, white-label reports, a REST API and a read-only MCP server for Claude or ChatGPT.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits agencies and in-house teams running several sites, the buyers its homepage addresses. Users are unlimited on every plan, and a branded app with your own domain needs Premium, per the white label guide.

It suits less well a content team hunting for topics it does not rank for yet. Keyword Research allows 20, 100 or 200 search-suggestion checks a month by plan, per the pricing page: a side tool, not a research desk.

Sitechecker or Semrush

Set it next to Semrush and the two measure different things. Sitechecker reads your own sites and their Search Console and GA4 accounts; Semrush estimates traffic and rankings for any domain, which is what competitor and market research needs. Seats tip it for teams: unlimited here, while Semrush includes one user and charges from $45 a month for each extra (Semrush pricing, checked on 24 October 2026).

Where to begin

Create a project per site, connect Google, tune the crawler, switch on alerts and add the keywords that bring in business. How to use Sitechecker covers the set-up for a group of client sites.

FAQ

Does Sitechecker charge per user?

No. Every plan lists unlimited users on the pricing page, and an invitee needs only a free Sitechecker account, per the project guide.

How does Rank Tracker count keywords?

Per setting. One keyword tracked in 2 countries on desktop and mobile uses 4 keywords of your limit, according to the Rank Tracker guide. Plan the limit around markets and devices, not just the keyword list.

Can I use Sitechecker data in ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, through the hosted MCP server, which signs in with OAuth. It is read-only, works on paid plans and is not available during the trial, per the MCP introduction.
