What Is ClickFunnels? Funnels, Checkout and Contact Caps
By Joris van Huët · ClickFunnels's own site
The short answer: if you sell one offer online and want the order form, the add-on at checkout, the upsell page and the follow-up emails in one tool, ClickFunnels does that from $97 a month, but its Launch plan stops at 10K contacts and two team members, so a bigger list starts on Scale. It is a funnel builder first, with a store, a CRM, courses and email built around the checkout.

Before you pick a plan:
- Price the year, not the month. Launch is $97 billed monthly or $81 a month billed annually on the pricing page. For example, $97 x 12 = $1,164 a year against $81 x 12 = $972.
- Count your contacts and logins today. Launch holds 10K contacts and two team members, Scale 75K and five, per the pricing page.
- Pick the number you will read after month one. The funnel analytics dashboard reports views, opt-ins, sales and conversion rates per step; watch the step that pays the bills.
What ClickFunnels does
A funnel here is a row of pages a buyer moves through: a sales page, a checkout, then one-time offers. You start from a template, a blank funnel, or Build with AI, which according to its help article researches the market, writes the copy and assembles the pages from a conversation.
The checkout is where it differs from a page builder. Products are created once and reused, a second product can sit on the checkout as an order bump, and a one-click upsell page follows the purchase. Email, courses, a community, a store and sales pipelines sit around it. Payments run through Payments AI at 2.9% + $0.30 per charge, per the payments guide.
Who gets the most from it
A founder or small team selling courses, coaching or digital products, growing revenue per order. Less so a B2B team whose sales happen in calls and a CRM, or one that needs webhooks and the API on the entry plan: both start on Scale.
Plans and prices
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the ClickFunnels pricing page, in dollars:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually, per month | Contacts | Workspaces | Team members |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $97 | $81 | 10K | 1 | 2 |
| Scale | $197 | $164 | 75K | 5 | 5 |
| Optimize | $297 | $248 | 150K | 10 | 10 |
| Dominate | Annual only | $5,997 a year | 400K | 20 | 20 |
The page's description offers a 14-day trial, and its FAQ adds a 30-day money-back guarantee and says ClickFunnels takes no percentage of sales.
The pricing page opens on the annual tab, so $81 is the price you see first and $97 is the price of staying free to leave; the difference is what ClickFunnels pays you for a twelve-month commitment.
Against the rivals buyers name
- HighLevel is built for agencies running many client accounts: its pricing page puts three sub-accounts with unlimited contacts at $97 a month. One business selling its own offer gets more from ClickFunnels' checkout steps.
- Kartra adds memberships and a helpdesk, priced by contacts, and its plans page charges 5% transaction fees on the $59 Essentials plan.
- Leadpages sells pages and testing rather than a purchase sequence, with A/B testing from $99 a month and no traffic cap on its pricing page. For a lead page you test, it is the lighter buy.
Where to start
Push a test order through one checkout and one upsell before you buy traffic; how to use ClickFunnels takes that job step by step.
