What Is Seobility? Website Audit, Rankings and Backlinks
By Joris van Huët · Seobility's own site
The short answer: if your first SEO problem is a website nobody has crawled in a year, Seobility starts there. The free Basic plan audits 100 pages per crawl, and Premium crawls 25,000 pages across 3 projects and monitors 300 keywords for €59.90 a month plus VAT, per the Seobility pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026.

Before you upgrade from the free plan:
- Work out the annual saving. Premium is €59.90 a month on monthly billing, so a year costs 12 x €59.90 = €718.80, against €575.04 billed annually, per the pricing page. That is €143.76 less for a yearly contract.
- Measure your site first. Basic stops at 100 pages per crawl and paid plans at 25,000, 50,000 or 100,000, on the pricing page. Your CMS page count tells you which one fits.
- Set the score you are aiming for. Seobility's beginner's guide calls an on-page score of 80% or higher a strong foundation and warns that chasing 100% hits diminishing returns.
What Seobility does
The core is a crawler. You add your site as a project, Seobility follows every link the way a search engine would, and the results land in more than 100 reports on technical foundation, structure and content, per the FAQ. The Overview tab sorts every problem by severity and by the number of pages affected, so the top of the list is a to-do list. Some issues carry an AI Search label for problems that affect visibility in AI answers.
Around the audit sit ranking monitoring, refreshed daily for desktop and every three days for mobile per the FAQ, backlink monitoring updated weekly, competitor tracking, uptime monitoring, a keyword research tool and a TF*IDF content tool. Paid plans include a beta MCP server so an assistant can start a crawl or pull rankings, per the MCP page. The company is Seobility GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits business owners and small teams who are not SEO specialists, a point the FAQ makes itself, and agencies that want white-label reports on Professional or Agency. It suits a one-page site poorly: the FAQ says the crawler only makes sense for sites with multiple subpages. AI visibility tracking is listed as coming soon, so it is not a reason to buy today.
What it costs
Monthly billing, excluding VAT, from the pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026:
| Plan | Per month | Billed annually | Projects | Pages per crawl | Monitored keywords |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Free | 1 | 100 | 10 |
| Premium | €59.90 | €575.04 a year | 3 | 25,000 | 300 |
| Professional | €99.90 | €959.04 a year | 7 | 50,000 | 700 |
| Agency | €209.90 | €2,015.04 a year | 20 | 100,000 | 2,000 |
Monthly plans renew month by month and can be cancelled at any time without notice, per the FAQ. The free plan makes you wait 7 days between crawls and start each one by hand, which is the nudge to upgrade; for a site under 100 pages it is also enough.
How it compares
Sistrix is the other German suite buyers weigh. Its Start plan costs €119 a month plus taxes, cancelable monthly, and is built around its Visibility Index for measuring success in Google, per the Sistrix pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026. Choose Sistrix when market-level visibility data is the question, and Seobility when the question is what to fix on your own site.
