What Is Simplified? An AI Agent Platform for Marketing
By Joris van Huët · Simplified's own site
The short answer: you are not misreading the pricing page: on 26 October 2026 its plan cards showed seats, social accounts and credits but no prices, and the only price in its visible text was Starter at $79 a month, in a worked example (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026). Simplified calls itself an AI agent platform for marketing teams: Riley, its agent, plans, writes, designs and schedules campaigns, and nothing publishes until a person approves. It suits lean teams and agencies that repeat the same social and ad work weekly.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
Before the trial:
- Credits per post. Under the unified credit system, a social post with an AI image costs 60 to 80 credits and a text-only post 1. For example, 20 image posts x 80 credits = 1,600 credits a month, against 10,000 on the smallest plan card.
- The channels and people you already have. The cards list 7 social accounts and 1 seat, or 15 and 3; extra accounts are $5 a month and extra users $10 (pricing page).
- A baseline from the platforms themselves. Take last month's impressions, clicks and engagement from each network's own analytics before Riley posts, so the comparison does not rest on the agent's report.
What it does
Riley takes a plain-language brief, hands each piece to a specialist agent for social, email, ad creative or copy, applies your brand kit, and returns finished work for approval before it schedules anything (AI marketing agent page). Behind it sit AI design, writing and video tools, a social calendar, an inbox and analytics (homepage), and a hosted MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor or Codex drive the same workspace.
Who it suits
A founder or a small team posting to several networks each week without a designer, and agencies that keep a brand and approvals per client. It suits less well a team that already has a designer and a scheduler it likes, since much of the fee replaces both.
What it costs, and what the page leaves out
The product data embedded in the pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026, lists three plans whose details differ from the cards:
| Plan in the page data | Billed annually, per month | Billed monthly | Described as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $79 | $59 | 5 campaigns, 7 social accounts, 1 brand kit |
| Pro | $99 | $119 | 15 campaigns, 3 seats, 15 social accounts |
| Business | $199 | $239 | 40 campaigns, 7 seats, 30 social accounts |
Starter's annual price sits above its monthly one, and the help centre says yearly plans cost 25% less (pricing article). Screenshot the checkout price; that is the one you agree to.
The trial costs $1 for seven days and opens onto a yearly subscription (plans article). The refund policy converts it automatically, asks for cancellation at least 24 hours before it ends and refunds no subscription, so the trial's default ending is a year paid up front unless someone acts on day six.
Against RecurPost, and Kittl
RecurPost does the scheduling half for less, with a gentler exit: Starter is $9 a month, Personal $25 and Agency $79 on monthly billing, after a 14-day free trial without a card, with a 30-day money-back guarantee (RecurPost pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). If your posts exist and need recycling, it wins on price; if the job is making them, Simplified's agent is the difference.
Kittl overlaps on AI design but stops at the file: its pricing page lists no scheduling or publishing.
Getting started
How to use Simplified plans a week of approved posts. The pricing page names Canva, ChatGPT, Hootsuite and n8n among the tools it replaces. If that reads like your stack and the real question is which to cancel, the stack is the problem rather than the tool, and a one-week review like the Startup Fixer, which I sell, covers it.
FAQ
Does anything publish without my approval?
Not by default: Riley shows finished work before anything publishes (AI marketing agent page).
Can I get a refund?
No. Subscriptions, unused credits and add-on credit packs are non-refundable; you can downgrade or pause instead (refund policy).
Can I use Simplified from Claude Code or Cursor?
Yes, through a plugin or a raw connector at apikit.simplified.com/mcp, with OAuth sign-in; the MCP page says the agent asks before it spends a credit or publishes.
