What Is Morningscore? SEO and AI Search Work Set as Missions
By Joris van Huët · Morningscore's own site
The short answer: if your marketing team is two or three people, new to SEO, and needs to be told what to do next rather than handed a data warehouse, Morningscore is built for that. Lite covers 2 users, 3 websites and 100 keywords tracked daily for $69 a month, per the Morningscore pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026, and every plan carries the same features with different limits.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
Before the 14-day trial ends:
- Price the commitment. Lite yearly is $690, against 12 x $69 = $828 paid monthly, so $138 cheaper. Yearly plans bind you for 12 months while monthly plans can stop after the current month, per the pricing FAQ.
- Load what you already track. Morningscore cannot import from other tools; you copy the keyword list and paste it into the rank tracker, its help article says. Each competitor costs half a website credit.
- Know what the headline number measures. The SEO Score is what the organic traffic would cost in paid ads, per the intro guide, and traffic is estimated from a fixed click table that gives position one 15%, per the traffic article. Check it against Search Console clicks.
What Morningscore does
One web app covers rank tracking, keyword research, competitor comparison, backlinks, a site health scan scored 0 to 100 and reports. A ChatGPT tracker and a GEO Score look up about 100 prompts in ChatGPT and score each one 100% when your brand is in the answer and 20% when it appears only in the sources, per the GEO Score article. The vendor calls that figure approximate.
What sets it apart is Missions: suggested tasks, refreshed every 24 hours, that earn XP and levels when completed. The RANK AI plugin for WordPress and Shopify can push health fixes to the site, and the API documentation lists a beta MCP endpoint for AI assistants.
Who it suits
It suits small companies and teams training juniors, with human chat support on weekdays from 9 to 16 CET. The pricing FAQ is candid that Ahrefs and Semrush have more tools and bigger databases; Morningscore collects data on demand from 7 partners and covers Google and ChatGPT only. It suits less well a team that needs global search volume in one view, which the help centre says it cannot show.
Plans
From the pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026, in USD excluding VAT:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Users | Websites | Tracked keywords |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $69 | $690 | 2 | 3 | 100 |
| Business | $99 | $990 | 4 | 10 | 500 |
| Pro | $159 | $1,590 | 10 | 30 | 2,000 |
| Premium | $299 | $2,990 | 20 | 100 | 5,000 |
XP and levels exist to bring you back to the dashboard. That is fine, as long as you judge the plan by keywords that moved, not by levels gained.
How it compares
Semrush is the comparison buyers make. Its entry SEO plan costs $139 a month billed monthly for 5 websites and 500 keywords tracked daily, on the Semrush pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026, while Morningscore Business tracks the same 500 keywords across 10 websites for $99. Depth of data decides it for an SEO specialist; a guided to-do list decides it for a generalist.
Where to begin
Add your site with the right country, add two competitors and turn their keywords into missions; how to use Morningscore walks through it. If the trouble is five overlapping tools rather than the lack of a sixth, a one-week review like the Startup Fixer looks at the whole stack.
FAQ
Does Morningscore check every keyword daily?
Tracked keywords in positions 1 to 20 are checked daily and lower ones every 3 days, per the update article. Untracked keywords refresh within about 90 days.
Can I change a website's target country?
No. Add the domain again with the right country and remove the old one, as the help centre explains.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days without a credit card, and a one-click live demo, per the homepage.
