What Is Search Atlas? SEO That Deploys Its Own Fixes
By Joris van Huët · Search Atlas's own site
The short answer: If your SEO backlog is long because nobody has time to put the fixes live, Search Atlas is built around that gap: a script called the OTTO pixel lets it change titles, schema and on-page content on your site itself, and the Starter plan for one site costs $99 a month billed monthly (pricing, checked on 24 October 2026). It suits agencies and lean teams prepared to let software edit live pages, with approval switched on.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
Before you install the pixel:
- Price it per site. Growth runs OTTO on 2 sites for $199 ($199 / 2 = $99.50 a site) and Pro on 4 for $399 ($399 / 4 = $99.75), billed monthly, per the pricing page checked on 24 October 2026: moving up buys features, not cheaper sites.
- Check what Google already sees. OTTO's changes count only once Google recrawls the pages, so a submitted sitemap and a clean robots.txt come first, per the article on changes not showing on Google.
- Agree the measuring window: 3 to 14 days after indexing, the same article says, before judging rankings.
What Search Atlas does
The centre is OTTO SEO. Once the pixel sits in your site's header, OTTO reads your pages, fixes meta tags, missing schema, entity coverage and on-page content, and deploys the changes without a developer, according to the OTTO pixel page. By default it deploys on its own; approval mode makes it wait for your sign-off, and every change can be rolled back.
Around OTTO the homepage lists content writing, a site auditor, rank tracking, Google Business Profile management, link building and ad campaigns, with AI visibility tracking from Growth up.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits an agency running SEO for several client sites, where getting changes live is the slow part; Pro adds white-label reporting.
It suits less well a business where every website change passes a developer, legal or brand review. The help centre has an article on customers who found OTTO deploying changes they did not approve. That argues for approval mode on day one, not against the tool.

USD, from the Search Atlas pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026. The homepage sets $199 a month against $8,000 a month of hires and vendors it says the platform replaces; that comparison is the vendor's, and yours is built from your own invoices.
Against Rank Math and Semrush
Rank Math is the lighter option for WordPress: a plugin for titles, schema and sitemaps, free to start and EUR 7.99 a month billed annually for PRO, excluding VAT (Rank Math pricing, checked on 24 October 2026). OTTO works through its pixel on any CMS and makes the edits itself. Semrush, from $139 a month (Semrush pricing), is the research suite to weigh it against, built around keyword, competitor and backlink data.
Getting started
How to use Search Atlas follows the vendor's help articles from installing the pixel to a first approved batch of fixes.
If the real decision is whether to fold SEO, ads and content into one platform, that is a stack question first, and a one-week review like the Startup Fixer covers it. I sell that review.
FAQ
Does OTTO work outside WordPress?
Yes. The OTTO pixel page lists install routes for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, ClickFunnels, GHL, Google Tag Manager and custom sites.
Is the OTTO pixel a tracking pixel?
No. It is the connection that lets OTTO read and edit your pages, not a visitor-tracking or ad pixel, according to the same page.
What happens when Universal Credits run out?
The action is blocked before it starts, with a link to top up. Monthly credits refill at your billing reset and do not carry over; purchased credits do, per the credits FAQ.
