What Is AB Tasty? Now Part of Wingify, Docs Still Live
By Joris van Huët · AB Tasty's own site
The short answer: if you are pricing AB Tasty for a mid-sized product team, you are pricing Wingify: abtasty.com and its pricing page redirect to wingify.com, where VWO and AB Tasty sell together since announcing their merger on 20 January 2026 as a business with more than $100M in revenue and over 4,000 customers, and Wingify quotes on monthly active users with no price list, a 30-day trial and no card (merger announcement, Wingify pricing, checked on 5 November 2026). The product has not stopped: docs.abtasty.com still documents the tag, the campaign flow and the Evi AI assistants, and existing contracts, pricing and support stay unchanged.

Before you ask for a quote:
- Check your traffic against the report's bar. A goal is ready after 14 days, 5,000 unique visitors and 300 unique conversions on each variation (readiness rule). For example, 24,000 visitors a month split two ways is 12,000 a side, but at a 2% conversion rate each side collects 240 conversions a month, short of 300, so the test runs five weeks or more. Below that traffic you are buying personalization, not testing.
- Start from the tag you have. One tag runs tests and personalizations, and push connectors send the campaign and variation into Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Contentsquare, Segment and HubSpot (GA4 push integration, integrations overview).
- Agree which count is the record. AB Tasty counts every session after first exposure, Google Analytics counts differently, and the docs name the user count as the benchmark between the two (GA differences FAQ).
What the product does
The old product URLs land in Wingify's suites, which carry a sitewide banner that AB Tasty and VWO have united and a separate AB Tasty login, but describe Wingify's features (Wingify homepage), so for the product itself the docs are the source. Web Experimentation and Personalization share one campaign flow, from A/B and multivariate tests to multi-experience personalizations (campaign types). Targeting is a saved segment, such as new or returning visitors, device, an audience pulled from a CDP or one of the ten EmotionsAI needs inferred from how a visitor moves on the page, plus an optional trigger such as the traffic source (segment criteria, EmotionsAI criterion). Reports are Bayesian, with a chance to win the docs call reliable at 95% or above (statistics guide).
Feature Experimentation & Rollout is the server-side half, once sold as Flagship: the Flagship docs are marked deprecated, and the new section lists SDKs from JavaScript and React to Python, Java, Go and Ruby (Flagship notice, SDK list). An open-source MCP server, @abtasty/mcp-server, exposes its flags and campaigns to Claude Desktop and other clients (MCP server on GitHub). Six Evi assistants draft code, propose test ideas, score hypotheses and analyse reports (Evi overview).
Who it suits, and who it does not
An existing customer whose marketing team builds in the Visual Editor and whose engineers hold the SDKs. A new buyer who wants the AB Tasty feature set by name is sold Wingify, and should ask which product line the contract names.
What it costs
No public price. Wingify prices on monthly active users in Growth, Pro and Enterprise tiers, discounts bundles and multi-year terms, and includes Wingz Core free with every paid product while Wingz Advanced is a paid upgrade (Wingify pricing, checked on 5 November 2026). The tier table is where a quote grows: Growth runs unlimited experiments, the sample ratio mismatch detection that tells you a split was broken sits under Pro, and the holdback control group that proves a personalization paid sits under Enterprise, so the buyer who wants to check the first tier's work climbs two tiers to do it.
How it compares
Optimizely. Also on request, every plan "individually packaged" (Optimizely plans). What decides it is what sits around the test: a CMS and an agent platform from one vendor, or one tag that pushes into the analytics you already run.
VWO. The same company now, so the only question is which product line your contract names.
Convert.com. Publishes its price: Growth is $299 a month billed annually, $3,588 a year, for 100,000 tested users a month (Convert pricing). Choose it for a fixed bill.
Kameleoon. Kameleoon lists PBX Starter from $495 a month for 50,000 monthly tracked users, with a free 30-day trial (Kameleoon plans).

FAQ
Does AB Tasty have heatmaps?
Not as a module. It tags Microsoft Clarity, Contentsquare or Fullstory with the campaign and variation, so you filter their heatmaps by variation (Clarity integration); Wingify's Analytics suite has its own.
What happened to Flagship?
It became Feature Experimentation & Rollout; the old docs are marked deprecated and the new section covers flags, rollouts and SDKs (Flagship notice).
Does AB Tasty have an MCP server?
Yes, for Feature Experimentation & Rollout, over stdio or HTTP with an environment ID and API key (GitHub). Wingify documents a separate server for its own products (Wingify MCP guide).
