What Is Woodpecker? Cold Email and LinkedIn Outreach
By Joris van Huët · Woodpecker's own site
The short answer: Woodpecker is a cold email and LinkedIn outreach tool from a company based in Wrocław, Poland. It prices mainly by the number of emails you send each month, includes unlimited team members, contact storage and catch-all verification, and suits B2B teams and agencies that run careful, condition-based campaigns more than maximum volume.

What the product covers
A campaign is a path of up to 16 steps in the new editor, mixing emails with manual tasks, LinkedIn actions and call or SMS tasks, according to the campaign editor article. Conditions split the path into YES and NO branches on opens, clicks, completed tasks, snippet values or accepted LinkedIn connection requests. A prospect who replies gets no further follow-ups.
The sending side is built for restraint. The homepage lists free email verification, free warm-up, a deliverability monitor and adaptive sending, and the pricing page adds inbox rotation, a domain audit for SPF and DKIM, and email service provider matching, which pairs Google senders with Google recipients and Microsoft with Microsoft. Lead Finder searches a B2B database for prospects, and you can buy domains and mailboxes with SPF, DKIM and DMARC already configured.
A good fit, and a poor one
It suits teams where several people share outreach, because team members are unlimited and free, and agencies that want one client per sub-account through the Agency Panel, which costs $27 a month per active client on the pricing page.
It suits less well a team that needs CRM sync or an API on day one without extra cost: the API, webhooks, MCP, CLI and the HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations sit in a $20-a-month add-on on the same pricing page. At very high volume it is not the cheapest option: its 500,000-email tier is $499 a month, against $358 for the same volume on Instantly's Light Speed plan.
Whom you may email is a legal question first. In the UK, the ICO's guidance on electronic mail marketing allows email to corporate bodies but treats sole traders and some partnerships as individuals who must have consented, and recommends a do-not-email list for businesses that object. Other countries draw the line elsewhere. Woodpecker's unsubscribe link and list-unsubscribe header handle the opt-out mechanics.
