What Is Instantly? Sending, Warm-Up and Lead Data

By Joris van Huët · Instantly's own site

The short answer: Instantly is a cold email platform that sells sending and lead data as two products: Outreach plans for campaigns, mailboxes and warm-up, and Instantly Credits for its B2B database and AI agents. It suits agencies and outbound teams that run many mailboxes at volume and want to add data, done-for-you accounts and AI reply handling when they need them.

Two products under one name

On the sending side, every Outreach plan connects unlimited email accounts with unlimited warm-up, and includes scheduling, analytics, bounce detection and API access, according to Instantly's pricing file. Campaigns carry A/Z variants, subsequences, spintax and variables, and the Unibox gathers replies from every mailbox. Light Speed adds SISR, which assigns dedicated server and IP blocks and swaps flagged IPs out.

On the data side, Instantly Credits pay for SuperSearch lookups against a database the pricing page puts at 450M+ B2B leads, for enrichment, and for AI agents: the AI Sales Agent costs 5 credits per lead it generates and the AI Reply Agent 5 credits per reply. Credits are a separate subscription unless you buy a bundle.

You can also buy domains and mailboxes inside the app, set up for you or pre-warmed, which the pricing file pitches as a way to skip the technical setup.

Who gets the most from it

It suits senders who think in mailboxes: agencies, lead generation shops and teams spreading volume over dozens of accounts. Instantly's limits article recommends 30 campaign emails per account per day, so volume comes from the number of accounts, and the warm-up controls can be switched on in bulk across many accounts.

It suits less well a team with a large list and low volume, because each Outreach tier caps uploaded contacts as well as emails. The entry plan also leaves out webhooks and full in-app replies, which start on Hypergrowth.

Who may receive a cold email is set by law, not by the tool. The Dutch regulator ACM's spam guidance asks for prior consent, a clearly identified sender and an easy, free way to unsubscribe, and says the rules cover the person who presses send, the business that commissions it and suppliers of address lists. Other countries differ, so check each one you mail.

Credits plans start at $9 a month for 150 credits, with Growth Credits at $47 for 1,500, per the pricing file. Bundles combine both: Starter is $94 a month, Scale $194 and Agency $555 on monthly billing, 10% less on yearly. Instantly does not charge overage; you move up a tier.

Next to lemlist

Instantly vs lemlist sets it against a tool that puts LinkedIn, calls and WhatsApp in the same sequence, where lemlist prices its multichannel plan per user.

Where to begin

Connect accounts, warm them for at least two weeks, then build the campaign. How to use Instantly follows the steps in Instantly's help centre.

FAQ

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days with no card. Instantly's trial article lists two connected accounts, 250 uploaded leads, 1,000 campaign emails and 100 credits, and says an expired trial account that was never upgraded is deleted.

Do Instantly Credits expire?

Yes. Unused credits expire two months after purchase on monthly plans and one year after purchase on annual plans, according to the pricing file.

Does the Growth plan include webhooks?

No. The pricing file gates webhooks to Hypergrowth and above, and on Growth the Unibox is preview-only, so answering replies inside Instantly needs Hypergrowth.
