How to Use Hostinger to Launch a Campaign Landing Page

The short answer: for one campaign landing page with a sign-up form, Hostinger's AI Builder on the Premium plan is enough, at $2.49 a month on a 48-month term, $119.52 paid upfront and renewing at $10.99 (pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026), and the whole page can be built on the free 7-day trial before you pay. The steps: write the brief as a prompt, generate the page in agentic mode, run the placeholder check, fix details by hand, connect the form to Reach, test it and clear the test entries, then buy, publish and connect your domain.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Settle these before you type a prompt:

  1. The cost of building versus the cost of publishing. Building is free on the trial; publishing is not. For example, a page for one quarter's campaign on Premium still means 48 x $2.49 = $119.52 on day one, per the pricing page, so build first and buy on the day the page is ready.
  2. What you already have. Logo, brand colours, a screenshot of a page you like, and offer copy that whoever signs off claims has approved. The builder takes images and PDFs as references, per the building docs.
  3. The number that says it worked. Sign-ups divided by visitors. Built-in analytics counts visitors once the site is on a domain, and Reach counts the sign-ups, per the integrations docs.

A campaign page has one job: turn a visit into a sign-up. AI Builder writes the code, copy and images in minutes, and that speed is the risk, because a page drafted in minutes can carry a phone number nobody answers or a claim nobody approved. Most of this guide is the checks. Plans and prices are in the Hostinger glossary entry.

What you need

  • A Hostinger account; the trial needs no card.
  • The approved offer: headline promise, the three or four facts that support it, the form fields and the call to action.
  • Access to your domain's DNS, or a budget line for a new domain.

Step 1: Start the trial

The trial lasts 7 days and gives 250 AI credits in agentic mode, per the trial article. During Black Friday the AI Builder page offers no trial, so start from a template on the templates page instead, choosing one labelled Agentic, and click Use template.

Step 2: Write the brief as the prompt

This is the agent step. Describe the purpose, the audience, the must-haves and the references, in that order, as the building docs recommend: a landing page for a webinar on a given date, for marketing leads at scale-ups, with a hero, three benefit blocks, one sign-up form with name, email and company, and your brand colours from the attached screenshot. In the dashboard flow, the description box takes up to 700 characters, per the how-to article. The agent plans the page, writes the code, generates images and can search the web for facts it puts into the copy.

The human check starts with that last capability. Any figure, date, price, quote or testimonial the agent added is unapproved until someone checks it against the brief. Generated photos of people who do not work for you are a decision for whoever owns the brand, not for the agent.

Step 3: Run the placeholder check

Below the latest reply, agentic mode shows a Recommended steps card for unpublished sites, per the agentic mode overview. Its first step, Replace example content, has a Get prompt button that asks the AI to find placeholder content such as phone numbers, email addresses, opening hours and social links, and to request your real details. Send it, answer with the real details, and delete anything the campaign does not need.

Step 4: Make the small fixes by hand

Turn on Select & edit and click the text or image you want to change. Saving text and image edits through Edit content is free, and so is saving changes in the Code view, while comments the AI applies for you use credits, per the credits docs. Headline tweaks, a button label, a date: do those yourself.

Step 5: Connect the form to Reach

Ask in chat to connect Hostinger Reach. The AI offers your existing Reach workspaces, or a link to get Reach, and connects only after you confirm, per the integrations docs. Every form submission is saved to the project's database first, each Reach workspace connects to one AI Builder site, and the connection works on the live site, not on trial projects, so until you publish your test entries stay in the database.

If you also ask the AI to add Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel with your tracking ID, add consent with it. Under the ePrivacy Directive, storing or reading information on a visitor's device needs consent unless an exemption applies, and the EDPB's Guidelines 2/2023 apply that rule to tracking pixels as well as cookies.

Step 6: Test, then clear the test data

Check the desktop and mobile views and submit the form yourself. The preview runs on its own test data, and on the first publish that test database is copied to the live site as its starting data, per the preview docs. Before the first publish, open Data from the editor menu, switch to Test data and clean out your own submissions, or your first sign-ups will be you; the backend docs say records there can be browsed and edited without using credits. Any unresolved error in the preview blocks publishing; Ask to fix sends it to the AI and uses credits.

Step 7: Buy, publish and connect the domain

A hosting plan unlocks Publish, which builds the project and puts it live within a few minutes, per the publishing docs. The free hostingersite.com address is not indexed by search engines, and its name cannot be changed, so connect a custom domain: Connect domain opens hPanel, where you buy one or connect one you own. The domain guide gives two routes, new nameservers or A records at your current registrar, with propagation of up to 24 to 48 hours. SSL is added automatically.

Step 8: Read the result after the first week

Built-in analytics shows visitors for the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, with no tracking code. Divide the Reach sign-ups by those visitors and compare with your last campaign page.

What Hostinger's docs warn about

  • Restoring is final. Restore this version removes every later message and change, and the credits spent on them are not refunded, per the preview docs.
  • Stopped replies still cost. Stopping a reply partway uses the credits for the work already done.
  • No server access. AI Builder sites have no FTP, SFTP, SSH or File Manager; code lives in the Code view or an export.
  • The trial cannot go live. Trial sites cannot be published and trial stores cannot take payments.

Build free, pay at publish

Steps 1 to 6 happen on the trial, and they are enough to know whether the page works: if the approved copy fits, the form stores its test entries and the mobile view holds, a paid plan buys the address and the Reach connection, not a rescue. Credits are the meter on everything else. Every chat message uses them, including one that only asks a question, and a restore does not return them, per the credits docs, so the chat, which is how agentic mode expects you to work, is also the part of the product that bills; the free path for small changes is Edit content.

FAQ

How many credits does a landing page use?

Hostinger publishes no fixed figure: credits depend on the size and complexity of each request, and each reply shows what it used, per the credits docs. Note the trial balance before Step 2 and after Step 6.

Can I keep my DNS where it is?

Yes. The A-record route in the domain guide keeps DNS at your current registrar and points only web traffic to Hostinger, so email and other records stay as they are.

Can I move the page off Hostinger later?

Yes, by exporting the project code from the Code view, which needs a plan, per the credits docs. There is no file access on the hosted version.
