How to Use Leadpages to Build a Lead Page From Claude

The short answer: if you already write campaign copy with Claude, Leadpages lets Claude build and publish the page itself through an MCP server included on every plan from $49 a month: set up a brand kit from your site, connect the account MCP in Claude, have Claude create the page behind a password, review it in a browser, route the form to your CRM, connect a subdomain, then remove the password and read the first week's numbers.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

The job: a campaign brief and its copy live in a Claude conversation, and turning them into a live page means a handover to someone with a page builder. Leadpages' MCP server removes the handover. For what Leadpages is and what each plan includes, see the Leadpages glossary entry.

Before you start:

  1. Do the trial maths. The trial lasts 7 days and is charged on day 7, per the pricing FAQ. Business is $49 billed monthly or $39 billed annually, so a year costs $588 or $468: for example, $49 x 12 = $588 and $39 x 12 = $468. Put the decision in your calendar for day 6.
  2. Bring the copy and the site. The approved copy from the brief, the URL of your website for the brand kit, and the name of the CRM or email tool where leads go.
  3. Fix the measure. Form submissions divided by unique visitors for the first seven days, broken down by UTM source, from Leadpages analytics. The same leads must appear in your CRM; if counts differ, the routing is wrong.

What you need

  • A Leadpages plan or trial. Custom slugs and password protection need a paid plan, per the page tools reference. Prices checked on 26 October 2026 on the pricing page.
  • Claude, on the web or the desktop app, with permission to add custom connectors.
  • DNS access for the subdomain.

Step 1: Build the brand kit from your website

Go to Dashboard, Brand Kits, Create Brand Kit, and enter your website URL. Leadpages extracts colours, fonts and logo; review them, add the voice and business details, and save, per the brand kit guide. The AI uses it on every page it builds.

Step 2: Connect the account MCP in Claude

In Claude.ai, open Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, and enter https://mcp.leadpages.com/mcp. Click Add and sign in with your Leadpages account, as the connection guide shows. Authorisation runs on OAuth, so there is no API key to copy, and access can be revoked from your Leadpages account settings, per the MCP overview.

Step 3: Have Claude build the page behind a password

In the conversation that holds the copy, ask Claude to build the landing page from it, with one form for name and email, and to publish it with a custom slug and a password. The create_page tool publishes the HTML straight away, and its password parameter, which needs a custom slug, keeps visitors out until it is removed, per the page tools reference.

This is the human check. Someone who owns the campaign opens the URL, enters the password, and reads the page on a phone and a laptop: every promise, every price, the privacy wording on the form. Small fixes go back to Claude, which applies them with edit_page as text replacements, without rewriting the page.

Step 4: Confirm the form is collecting

Open the page in the editor. A Form pill in the toolbar shows how many forms it detected, per the forms guide. Submit a test entry and find it under Dashboard, Submissions. Switch on Form Submission Notifications in Account Settings if someone should hear about each lead by email.

Step 5: Route leads to the CRM

On the Dashboard, open Integrations, find your tool, click Connect and authorise it. Then describe the automation to the integrations agent, for example "Add form leads to HubSpot as contacts", or build it with + New Automation, per the integrations guide. For a tool without a native connection, add a webhook under Account Settings, Webhooks, choose the form submitted event, add a secret key and use Send Test.

Submit a second test entry and check that it reaches the CRM with every field filled.

Step 6: Connect a subdomain

Under Manage, Custom Domains, click Connect Domain and enter a subdomain such as go.yourcompany.com. Entri can set the DNS records for you, or you add them by hand; choose the page as the target. SSL can take up to 48 hours, per the domain guide. Use a subdomain whenever your company site lives on the root domain: connecting the root hides that site behind Leadpages.

Until then, pages sit on a shared preview address with a banner, which the preview URL article says is meant for previewing, not for paid traffic.

Step 7: Remove the password and publish

Ask Claude to update the page with an empty password, which removes it, per the page tools reference, or do it in Page Settings. Check the page loads on the subdomain without a prompt.

Step 8: Read the first week

Dashboard, Analytics shows views, unique visitors, conversion rate, bounce rate, devices and traffic sources with UTM campaign, source and medium, per the analytics guide. If your page has a consent tool, analytics waits for consent, so Leadpages will show fewer visitors than your ad platform shows clicks.

What the Leadpages docs warn about

  • A root domain over a live site. It hides the site.
  • Webhooks that redirect or stall. Leadpages does not follow redirects and waits 10 seconds for a response, per the integrations guide.
  • An experiment with no goal. Later, when you A/B test on Grow, set the conversion goal first, or nothing is counted.
  • Calling a winner early. The A/B testing guide suggests at least 100 visitors per variant, a confidence of "likely" or better, and 7 days.

A trial that takes your card up front and converts on day 7 unless you cancel is set up for the vendor's renewal date, not your review date, so book the review before the trial starts.

FAQ

Does the MCP server cost extra?

No. The pricing page includes the MCP connector on every plan, and the plan limits page says every plan gets all of its tools.

Can Claude delete pages?

Yes, delete_page removes a page permanently, per the page tools reference. If your AI client lets you require approval for each tool call, switch that on for this connector.

Will my leads move if I change the domain later?

No. The preview URL article says the page, form entries and settings stay intact when the address changes.
