The short answer: consider Runable if one marketer or founder wants a single agent that turns a sentence into a landing page, a deck or a research brief, and sends recurring results to Slack or email: Pro costs $20 a month for 25,000 credits plus a free grant of 1,500 a day (Runable pricing, Runable FAQ). Consider Genspark if the team's work lives in documents, sheets and slides and you want agents inside that office suite, with plugins for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365: Plus costs $24.99 a month billed monthly for 10,000 credits, and Team $40 a seat (Genspark membership plans). Both were checked on 26 October 2026. Search suggestions do not link the two names; Genspark is the closest documented alternative to Runable for the same buyer.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Runable is built around the finished thing. Its homepage pitches one agent to build a business, run the work and keep it growing, with outputs from websites and apps to slides, carousels, images, video and documents (Runable). Genspark is built around a workspace. Its Super Agent plans multi-step work in a sandbox with a real browser and its own file system, and sits beside AI Slides, AI Sheets, AI Docs, GenMail and plugins for PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Google Workspace (Super Agent, Genspark).

Before the first prompt:

  1. A year of each, on paper. Credits are not the same unit across vendors, so compare plan prices, then measure. For example, Runable Pro costs $240 a year whether you pay monthly or yearly, since 12 x $20 = $240 (Runable pricing); Genspark Plus costs 12 x $24.99 = $299.88 on monthly billing, or $239.99 billed annually (membership plans).
  2. Where your drafts start today. If the team writes in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides or in Microsoft Office, Genspark's plugins work inside those files. If the job ends in a page, a deck or a brief sent to a channel, Runable's plugins reach Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, Shopify and 3,000+ more (Runable plugins).
  3. Credits per run, measured. Run one real job on each and write down what it used: Runable shows per-task usage under Settings, Token Usage (Runable FAQ); Genspark shows it on its credit usage page, whose log can lag a few hours behind the balance (credits guide).

What separates them

A file, or a place to work

Runable aims at the deliverable: a booking site, a carousel, a brief, built from one sentence and handed back. Genspark aims at the desk where the work happens, with native docs, sheets and decks that you keep editing after the agent drafts them, and plugins that bring the same agents into PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Google Workspace (Genspark). A solo operator shipping outputs leans one way; a team already living in office files leans the other.

How recurring work is set up

Runable's scheduled tasks take a request, a frequency and a destination: once, daily, weekdays, weekly or monthly, sent to email, the mobile app, iMessage or Slack (scheduled tasks). Genspark's Workflows start from a plain-language description, from which the AI builds the trigger and action steps; you then run a Test Run on simulated data and select Turn On (Workflows). Genspark's version has the explicit rehearsal step.

How credits behave

Runable spends monthly plan credits first, then top-ups, then the free daily grant, and its top-ups never expire (FAQ). Genspark resets plan credits each billing period, keeps top-ups for three months, and runs AI Chat and AI Image on a separate limit over a 5-hour window that buying credits does not lift (credits guide).

A weekly competitor report, set up on both

The job: every Monday at 8:00, one page on three competitors' pricing pages and launches, posted where the marketing team reads it. On Runable, describe the report as a scheduled task, choose Weekly, Monday, 8:00 AM and send it to Slack (scheduled tasks). On Genspark, open Workflow, choose New Custom Workflow and describe the same job; "automatically generate a weekly competitor report" is one of its own starter examples, and the Test Run shows the output before you turn it on (Workflows). The human check belongs in the first month on both: send the first four reports to one person, who opens the pages each claim cites before the report goes to the whole channel. For example, if one run uses 600 credits, four Mondays use 600 x 4 = 2,400, inside either entry plan.

Prices, checked on 26 October 2026

From Runable's pricing page and Genspark's membership plans, in USD:

Genspark's Free plan refills 100 credits a day only until a lifetime allowance is spent, and the help centre does not say how large that allowance is; once it is used, the daily refill stops for good and the remaining balance runs down (credits guide). A free tier that counts down instead of resetting is designed to end in Plus at $24.99. Run your real test while the refill still arrives, and note the day it stops.

Choose Runable if your job is

  • Turning one sentence into a landing page, a deck, a carousel or a research brief.
  • Recurring reports delivered to Slack, email or your phone on a fixed schedule.
  • Starting Runable tasks from another AI assistant through its MCP server.

Choose Genspark if your job is

  • Agents working inside documents, spreadsheets and decks your team keeps editing.
  • AI help inside Microsoft Office or Google Workspace files.
  • A team plan billed per seat, with central admin and billing.

Free tiers first

Both start free, with the daily grants in the table above (Runable FAQ, membership plans). Run the competitor report once by hand on each, with the same three competitor URLs, and compare output and credits before either schedule goes live. Pay only when the report is one you would forward unedited.

FAQ

Do Genspark's monthly credits roll over?

No. Plan credits reset each billing period, and on a yearly plan the allocation is granted month by month across the year, not up front. Separately bought top-ups stay valid for three months (credits guide).

Why did Genspark's free credits stop?

Free accounts get the daily 100 only until the lifetime allowance is used. After that the refill stops, and the balance you have keeps working until it runs out (membership plans).

Which is cheaper for one person?

On monthly billing, Runable Pro at $20 against Genspark Plus at $24.99. Billed yearly they meet: $240 for Runable and $239.99 for Genspark (Runable pricing, membership plans). The credits behind each price are not interchangeable, so the run you measured decides it.
