Both tools read your ad accounts. Both go looking for the ad whose page stopped keeping its promise. If your question is which live Meta and Google ads are paying for clicks to that page, and both accounts spend under €75,000 a month together, pick AdAlign. Its Growth band starts at €590 a month on an annual contract, every ad account included, per its pricing page (checked on 27 October 2026). Try the scorer on one ad with the free audit first. If the job is rebuilding pages per audience, with new images, sections and popups tested against the original, Tailor goes further. It starts at $250 a month for up to 25,000 tailored visitors and one connected ad account, on its pricing page.
Disclosure: I earn a commission if you buy AdAlign through a link on this page, and this page recommends it. Every claim about AdAlign links to AdAlign's own pages.
This pair is closer than most on this site. AdAlign's own comparison page calls Tailor its closest competitor. So the difference is not what they find. It is the order of work after they find it. The AdAlign glossary entry covers the product itself.
What decides it:
- What each one meters, worked out. Tailor bills tailored visitors, and above a plan's total it charges $1,000 for each extra 25,000 at the first rate, per its pricing FAQ. For example, 75,000 tailored visitors on Basic is 50,000 over: $250 + 2 x $1,000 = $2,250 for that month. AdAlign bills a band of ad spend, set when you sign and reviewed at renewal (pricing). Visitors are not what it counts.
- The accounts you already run. Basic is a friendly way in. It also connects one ad account, and a brand with Google Ads and Meta in separate accounts already has two. Tailor's Pro connects unlimited, and AdAlign lists unlimited ad accounts and seats on every band (Tailor pricing, AdAlign pricing).
- The number you will report afterwards. Tailor sizes each gap as likely conversion and CAC impact, ranked by spend, on its home page. AdAlign reports spend at risk: the monthly spend, at the current pace, on live ads scoring below 5 against their page (home page). Write the starting figure down before either tool changes anything. Afterwards is too late.

Where the two part ways
The diagnosis first, or the change first
Tailor's loop starts with the page. Its agents find a segment worth tailoring, build a version for your approval and test it, with mismatch detection feeding that queue (home page). AdAlign's loop starts with the account. Every live ad is scored on one rubric, spend attached, and pages are ranked by what their mismatched ads cost (how it works). That list is useful before anyone edits the site. Which of your pages has the most live ads pointed at it this week? If you can say without looking, Tailor's order suits you. If you cannot, measure first.
Two different alarms
Tailor's Watchdog flags a traffic drop, a source gone dark, lost UTM parameters or visitors leaving faster than usual, per its alerts docs. Waiting for the drop is a sensible habit. It is also a habit that pays for the drop first, because those are the symptoms of a page that already broke. AdAlign watches the page itself. Monitored pages are re-checked daily, re-scored when they change and marked Stable, Pending or Drifted, with alerts to email or Slack (how it works). One tells you that visitors left. The other tells you the hero image changed on Thursday.
How much of your site each will touch
Tailor changes a great deal: copy, images, whole components, hosted pages. A person approves before anything reaches a visitor (pricing FAQ). AdAlign's Variants beta stays inside three text slots, holds back half the matching visitors by default, and pauses itself if the page changes underneath it (home page). Narrow on purpose. A new layout or another product photo is Tailor's ground.
What it costs, read on 27 October 2026
Tailor's pricing page lists Basic at $250 a month for one site, up to 25,000 tailored visitors and one ad account, with unlimited pages and seats. Pro, up to 200,000 tailored visitors, and Enterprise are priced on request. Its home page offers demo customers a first round of landing page tests, charged only if performance improves.
AdAlign's pricing page quotes prices excluding VAT, on an annual contract billed monthly. Growth starts at €590 for up to €75,000 of monthly ad spend. Scale starts at €1,290 for up to €250,000, Portfolio at €2,490 for up to €750,000, and Enterprise is on request. Month to month costs 20% more. A €1,500 paid pilot of 30 days comes first, credited to the first invoices if you continue. It is refunded if it finds fewer than 3 issues your team agrees are real.
Read Tailor's plan table before you book anything. Ads Audit, keyword gaps and anomaly alerts are marked for Pro and left off Basic (Tailor pricing). So the $250 plan buys the personalisation, and the Google Ads mismatch review is the part priced on a call.
Choose AdAlign if your job is
- Knowing every week which live Meta and Google ads point at a page that has stopped keeping their promise, with the spend next to each (home page).
- Running one QA standard across clients or brands, with client workspaces, roles and a shareable report per page (agencies).
- Getting the diagnosis before anyone touches the website, from a read-only connection alone.
Choose Tailor if your job is
- Testing bigger changes than copy: images, section order, popups, quizzes or new hosted pages.
- Personalising for LinkedIn traffic, or by company through visitor identification (pricing).
- Reviewing a Google Ads account beyond the page, for wasted spend and budget-limited campaigns.
Both is a fair answer. AdAlign as the measurement layer across every live ad, Tailor on the few pages where a rebuild is worth testing.
Run both free checks, then decide
Neither vendor makes you pay to see the problem. AdAlign's free audit takes one ad and its page URL and returns an overall score in about 60 seconds, with no account. A free account adds the breakdown and 5 audits a month. Tailor's free scan reads your live Google and Meta ads from your domain and ranks the page gaps by spend, with no install (home page). Where both flag the same page, that page is your first fix. By hand works too: the four checks in AdAlign's audit guide, on a phone, with last month's spend beside every flag.
Say the free score on your biggest ad comes back under 5. AdAlign, which pays me a commission, will connect one account read-only on a demo call and total the spend at risk on your own numbers. Then you decide on the pilot.
FAQ
Does Tailor give each ad a score like AdAlign does?
Its free scan counts ads landing on a page that never mentions what the ad promised, and ranks them by spend. Its Ads Audit lists ad-to-page mismatch among the findings for a Google Ads account (Tailor ads docs). A score out of 10 on four fixed dimensions is AdAlign's format (how it works).
Is spend at risk last month's spend or the current pace?
AdAlign's pages word it two ways. The home page FAQ takes last week's spend on ads scoring below 5, divides it by 7 and multiplies by 30, with paused ads at zero. Its Tailor comparison, updated 29 September 2026, calls it last-30-day spend. Both wordings were live when read on 27 October 2026. Ask which one your report uses.
Do I have to install a script for either?
For Tailor's personalisation, yes, one tag. For AdAlign, only to publish page variants. Scores, spend at risk, drift checks and reports run on the read-only ad connection (AdAlign vs Tailor).
