What Is AdAlign? Ad-to-Page Scoring and Spend at Risk
By Joris van Huët · AdAlign's own site
The short answer: if nobody re-checks your landing pages once the ads are live, the ads keep paying for whatever the page has since become. For Meta and Google Ads spending up to €75,000 a month between them, AdAlign's Growth band is the fit. It runs from €590 a month on an annual contract billed monthly (checked on 27 October 2026 on the pricing page). It reads both accounts without write access, scores every live ad out of 10 against its page, and adds up what the low scorers spend. Start with one ad on the free audit.
Disclosure: I earn a commission if you buy AdAlign through a link on this page, and this page recommends it. Every claim about AdAlign links to AdAlign's own pages.
Before the sales call:
- The first-year cost. A €1,500 pilot comes first, and it is credited to your invoices if you stay. For example, Growth for a year is 12 x 590 = €7,080 before VAT, and month to month costs 20% more (pricing).
- The figure you already hold. The band is your average monthly spend over the last 12 months (pricing). Last year's ad invoices tell you the band before anyone quotes you one.
- The number that says it worked. Spend at risk. That is monthly spend, at the current pace, on live ads scoring below 5, with unscored spend on a line of its own (home page).
What AdAlign checks
Four things, for every ad and its page: visual match, message match, above-the-fold continuity and tone. By default they weigh 40%, 20%, 20% and 20%. The weights move with the placement, and on Google Search 70% sits on message and above-the-fold, per How it works. Each score names its weakest dimension and lists the fixes. The number says where to look. The dimension says what to change.
Then the scores roll up to the page, because ten ads can share one. Pages are ranked by spend at risk, re-checked daily and marked Stable, Pending or Drifted, with alerts going to email or Slack (home page).
Where it fits, and where it stops
It fits a team or agency with steady Meta and Google spend and more live ads than hours to review them. Seats and ad accounts are unlimited (FAQ). It does not build pages, test layouts or make creative. And AdAlign's own manual audit comparison says a team checking a handful of ads probably does not need the connected product.
That last line is the vendor's, not mine.
Bands and prices
Checked on 27 October 2026 on the pricing page, excluding VAT, annual contract billed monthly:
| Band | Total monthly ad spend | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Growth | Up to €75,000 | From €590 a month |
| Scale | €75,000 to €250,000 | From €1,290 a month |
| Portfolio | €250,000 to €750,000 | From €2,490 a month |
| Enterprise | Over €750,000 | On request |
The REST API starts on Scale, and agencies that pay and rebill get 20% off list, per the pricing page. The pilot fee comes back if the pilot surfaces fewer than 3 issues your team accepts. There is no card checkout. Every account goes through a call and the paid pilot, so AdAlign's sales conversation comes before any test you could run alone. The free audit is the one part you can try without it.
How it compares
- Tailor (tailorhq.ai) connects Google, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, but its starting point is personalising the page. Basic is $250 a month for one ad account (pricing, checked on 27 October 2026). Pick it when the job is testing new page versions.
- Instapage builds pages. Its AdMap maps Google search ads to pages, as long as the pages were made in Instapage. AdAlign scores the page wherever it is hosted.
- Unbounce builds pages and A/B tests them (pricing). Build there. Check the match with AdAlign.
- Google Quality Score is free, and a fair first look. It is also per keyword, Search only and not an input in the auction (Google Ads Help). It will not name the ad whose offer the page quietly dropped.
- Motion ranks the creatives you have already run (pricing). It answers what to make next. Whether the page keeps the ad's promise is a different question.
First steps
How to use AdAlign runs from a free score on your biggest ad, through the read-only connection, to the first page fixed. If that free score comes back under 5, book a demo call. AdAlign, which pays me a commission, connects one account on that call and shows the spend at risk on your own numbers.
FAQ
Does AdAlign change my ad accounts?
No. Access is read-only OAuth, and it never edits a campaign, per the home page FAQ.
What happens to the ads I upload?
They are stored and used, anonymised, to build benchmarks, and they are not shared with third parties, says the FAQ. The privacy policy adds that aggregated data helps train its AI models. The pricing FAQ says your data never trains shared models. SOC 2 is something AdAlign is working toward.
Which ad platforms does it cover?
Meta and Google Ads sync directly, while TikTok, LinkedIn and Reddit ads are scored by upload. The free audit takes all five.
