The ad promises free shipping. The page says shipping is calculated at checkout. Say you run a store whose Meta and Google ads send shoppers to product and collection pages, on under €75,000 a month of ad spend. AdAlign is the pick for the question that costs money first. It checks whether each live ad's product, offer and shipping promise appears on the page it opens. Growth starts at €590 a month on an annual contract billed monthly (AdAlign pricing, checked on 27 October 2026), and the free audit scores one ad with no account. Choose Lucky Orange to watch and question the shoppers once they arrive. Recordings, dynamic heatmaps, funnels, surveys and live chat come on every plan, from $32 a month billed annually (Lucky Orange pricing).

Disclosure: I earn a commission if you buy AdAlign through a link on this page, and this page recommends it. Every claim about AdAlign links to AdAlign's own pages.

Red flags before you buy:

  1. Paid traffic eats the session quota. For example, Build tracks 3,500 sessions a month (pricing). A campaign sending 150 sessions a day fills that in 3,500 / 150 = 23.3 days. At the limit, tracking stops, along with surveys, announcements and live chat, until the cycle resets or you upgrade (billing FAQ). If the recordings go quiet in the last week of the month, the campaign did not stop. The quota did.
  2. Your UTM tags decide what Lucky Orange can split. Its Visitors table filters by UTM source, medium, term and campaign, and a filter can be saved as a segment (UTM guide). If two ads share every tag, their visitors look identical in the recordings.
  3. One score to take before anything else. Audit the ad with the most spend against its product page. Above 7 is strong alignment, and below 5 is where AdAlign counts the spend as at risk (how it works). That one number tells you where to start: with the ad-to-page match, or with the page itself.

Shoppers match before they read

AdAlign's ecommerce use case is a list of small, expensive gaps (use cases). The ad shows one colourway and the page loads another. The free shipping in the ad turns into shipping calculated at checkout. A promo has ended while the ad still runs. Those land on Visual Match and Message Match, two of its four dimensions, and daily page checks catch the expired promo that is still being paid for.

Lucky Orange will show the same shopper landing, glancing at the hero and leaving. Its recording is accurate. It just cannot say that the hero shows the wrong colour, because nothing in it puts the page beside the ad.

What Lucky Orange does that AdAlign does not

Quite a lot, and none of it overlaps. Lucky Orange's homepage lays out a sequence. Ask Discovery AI what is going on, look at the heatmap, and watch the recordings of the visitors it flagged. Then confirm with surveys and live chat, where every response links back to that visitor's recording (Lucky Orange homepage). Funnels and page and form analytics sit on every plan (pricing). AdAlign asks visitors nothing. Its documented inputs are the ads, their spend and a capture of each landing page (how it works).

Paying for each

Checked on 27 October 2026 on the Lucky Orange pricing page and the AdAlign pricing page. Lucky Orange is in US dollars; AdAlign in euros, excluding VAT.

Lucky Orange planBilled annually, a monthBilled monthlySessions a month

Expand$199$249From 50,000

AdAlign bands sit on monthly ad spend instead. Growth runs from €590 a month up to €75,000, Scale from €1,290 to €250,000, Portfolio from €2,490 to €750,000, and Enterprise is custom. All are on annual contracts billed monthly, after a €1,500 paid pilot that comes off the first invoices if you stay (AdAlign pricing). Discovery AI is an add-on on every Lucky Orange plan, priced inside the app (billing FAQ).

Read Lucky Orange's billing FAQ before the trial, not after. The seven-day trial begins once a valid credit card is on file. The free plan article says moving from the trial to the free plan is not automatic (free plan), so the default at the end of the week is a paid plan.

One campaign through both

  1. For example, AdAlign flags a collection page whose top ad scores 4, with Above the Fold Continuity as the weakest dimension. The ad's free shipping appears on the page only in the footer, the failure AdAlign's audit guide uses to explain that dimension.
  2. In Lucky Orange, filter the Visitors table to that ad's UTM campaign and save it as a segment (UTM guide).
  3. Segments can trigger surveys (multiple UTM guide), so ask that segment one question: what were you expecting to see?
  4. Fix the page and let AdAlign's daily check re-score it (how it works). Compare the segment before and after. For a funnel, Lucky Orange builds one from an Event on the same UTM value, as its multiple UTM guide describes.

The score names the gap. The survey confirms it in the shopper's words. The before-and-after shows whether the fix held.

Choose AdAlign if

  • Your job is making sure every live ad's product, price, offer and shipping promise is on the page it opens.
  • You need pages ranked by the money their mismatches keep spending.
  • You run enough ads that nobody re-checks them after launch.

Choose Lucky Orange if

  • Your job is watching shoppers and asking them questions: recordings, heatmaps, funnels, form analytics, surveys and chat in one tool.
  • Your budget is small and your traffic fits a session quota.
  • The problem is on the page itself, such as a form that loses people, whatever ad sent them.

For a store with steady paid traffic, the answer is both. Lucky Orange watches the shopper; AdAlign checks the ad that brought them.

Start with the free tiers

Both have one. Lucky Orange's free plan tracks 100 sessions a month on one site, with no add-ons (free plan). AdAlign's free audit scores one ad without an account, and the Ad Roast gives a shareable read of an ad and its landing page. Run your three highest-spend ads through it; a free account allows 5 a month. If they score below 5, AdAlign, which pays me a commission, is the step after. Book a demo to see every live ad in one account scored, then the pilot. Everything else about the product is in the AdAlign glossary entry.

FAQ

Can AdAlign score my video ads?

Yes. For video it extracts key frames and transcribes the audio before scoring against the page (homepage FAQ). Video takes longer than an image ad (audit).

What happens when Lucky Orange hits its session limit?

Tracking stops, and surveys, announcements and live chat go quiet until the next cycle. The exceptions are an upgrade, or Keep Me Tracking switched on, which moves you to the next plan automatically (billing FAQ).

Does AdAlign need a Shopify app?

Its documentation describes no app. Scoring runs from the read-only Meta and Google Ads connection and a capture of the page, wherever it is hosted (how it works). Variants, the beta copy fixes, need the AdAlign tag on your domain.
