The short answer: if your ads live or die on a person talking to camera, Arcads is the specialist: a library of 1,000+ AI actors, and one talking-actor video of up to 2 minutes for 800 of the 8,000 credits in its entry plan (Arcads homepage, pricing article). If you also need product shots, TV-spot styles, try-ons and posters from one subscription, Higgsfield covers more ground: Plus costs $59 a month on monthly billing, or $47 a month billed yearly, for 1,200 credits (Higgsfield pricing, checked on 26 October 2026).

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Arcads is a casting desk with a studio behind it. Higgsfield is a studio with a casting desk in the corner. Both will put a creator-style face next to your product; what differs is how much else each one does, and how each one counts.

Rule of thumb:

  1. Count talking seconds, in each tool's own credits. For example, at the rate Higgsfield lists for Higgsfield Speak 2.0 at 720p, about 14 credits per 5 seconds (the page marks it approximate), a 20-second talking clip is 4 x 14 = 56 credits, and Plus holds 1,200 (Higgsfield pricing). On Arcads the same clip is one 800-credit talking-actor video (pricing article). The two credits are different currencies, so compare videos per month, not credit numbers.
  2. Start with the formats your account already wins with. If your winners are face-to-camera reviews, the talking actor is the whole job. If they are unboxings, product close-ups and try-ons, Higgsfield's Marketing Studio lists those as separate modes (Marketing Studio).
  3. Judge on one number, in the ad account. Hook rate for the first three seconds, then cost per purchase, against the ad you run today.

What decides it

Where the faces come from

Arcads states that its AI actors are based on real actors who gave consent and are paid for their likeness, and that custom actors stay private to your workspace (Arcads FAQ). Higgsfield's Marketing Studio lets you pick a presenter from its avatar library or generate one with Soul, then pin it so the brand keeps one face across campaigns (Marketing Studio). For a brand that wants a recurring face it fully controls, Higgsfield's route fits; for a brand that wants to test many faces quickly, Arcads' library does. Training Soul on a real person's photos raises the consent question covered in the HeyGen vs Higgsfield comparison.

A specialist or a suite

Arcads has widened too: Seedance, Veo, Kling and image models sit beside the actors on one credit balance (What is Arcads). Still, its help centre is organised around one job, the ad with a person in it. Higgsfield describes itself as an AI-native creative suite, with cinema, lipsync, fashion and marketing studios and video and image models from Seedance and Kling to Veo and Nano Banana (homepage). A team that needs one tool for every visual will lean Higgsfield; a performance team that lives in UGC gets, in Arcads, a tool shaped around that one format.

What happens at the end of the month

On Higgsfield's individual plans, credits reset at each renewal (plans guide). Arcads resets them on Starter and Creator and rolls them over in full, with no expiry, from Pro up (pricing article). For an uneven production calendar, that rollover is worth more than a lower entry price.

Prices: one page you can read, one you cannot

Higgsfield, per the pricing page, checked on 26 October 2026, in USD. The last column is worked out here: monthly credits divided by the yearly price, for example 1,200 / 47 = 25.53 on Plus.

PlanCredits a monthMonthly billingYearly billing, per monthCredits per dollar, yearly
Starter270$19$1914.21
Plus1,200$59$4725.53
Ultra3,000, with larger options$129$9930.30
TeamsFrom 1,000 per seat, pooledFrom $65 per seatUp to 30% offNot stated

Arcads lists only the allowances: 8,000 credits a month on Starter up to 192,000 on Business, with yearly billing 20% below monthly; the help centre says the current prices are on the pricing page inside the app (pricing article). A request to arcads.ai/pricing came back not found on 26 October 2026, so budget Arcads from a trial account, not from this page.

An agent run: product link in, three UGC cuts out

Higgsfield's MCP connector, at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, signs in with OAuth and needs no API key; among its documented operations, Marketing Studio takes a pasted product link and returns video ads built on its presets (Higgsfield MCP article). Ask the agent for three UGC-mode versions of one product page, each with a different opening line you supply.

The person who owns claims checks the opening lines before the request goes out and the rendered videos before any of them reach the ad account: is the product on screen the one you sell, does any presenter speak as a buyer, is the AI label on. Everything an agent generates through Higgsfield's MCP is charged at standard credit rates, even on models your plan treats as unlimited on the website; the HeyGen vs Higgsfield comparison works through what that does to a budget.

The free route, then the trials

Run the format test first, without either tool: three openings for your current top ad, cut by hand, a week in the same ad set. If new hooks do not move the hook rate, new faces will not either.

Then each tool's own door. Higgsfield has no trial; its free tier offers a limited set of models without credits (plans guide). Arcads offers 72 hours with 1,000 credits, with a card, after which the Starter monthly plan starts on its own (pricing article).

Watch the Arcads limit on small plans. When Starter or Creator runs out mid-month, generation stops and an upgrade offer opens, and upgrading charges the new plan the same day and resets the billing date (pricing article). The bigger tier is presented at exactly the moment a campaign needs one more video, so decide your ceiling before that moment, with the optional spending limits the same article describes.

The job decides

  • Choose Arcads if your job is testing faces and spoken hooks for paid social, week after week, from a library of actors who consented to be there.
  • Choose Higgsfield if your job is producing most of a brand's visual output, product shots, posters, try-ons and UGC-style clips, from one subscription with published prices.

The Arcads entry has the plan detail, and how to use Arcads runs a hook test end to end. For Higgsfield against an editor that works on your own footage, see invideo vs Higgsfield.

FAQ

Can I use Higgsfield output in paid ads?

Higgsfield's Marketing Studio FAQ says the content you generate is yours to publish across your channels, from organic posts to paid campaigns, subject to its Terms of Use (Marketing Studio).

Do Arcads credits roll over?

On Pro, Scale and Business, unused credits roll over in full with no expiry; on Starter and Creator they reset each cycle, and cancelling loses unused credits at the end of the billing period (Arcads pricing article).

Can both be driven from Claude?

Yes. Arcads' MCP server sits at https://mcp.arcads.ai and works on any plan with credits (Arcads MCP); Higgsfield's sits at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp (Higgsfield MCP article).
