The short answer: if your job is a steady stream of short paid-social variants, product shots, UGC-style clips and new hooks, Higgsfield is built for it: Plus costs $59 a month, or $47 billed annually, for 1,200 credits, and a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 720p costs about 7 of them (Higgsfield pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). For a presenter who explains, sells or trains, and has to do it in 175+ languages, HeyGen is the tool; its Creator plan is $29 a month (HeyGen pricing).

Before you buy:
- Count clips, not ideas. For example, 20 hook variants of 5 seconds on Kling 3.0 at 720p is 20 x 7 = 140 credits, under an eighth of Plus; on Seedance 2.0 at 720p, about 22 credits each, it is 440 (Higgsfield pricing). HeyGen's Video Agent in Seedance mode costs 240 credits a minute, so the same 100 seconds is 400 credits of Pro's 1,000 (credits article).
- Start from the ad that already works. Higgsfield's Hook Multiplier and Ad Recreator both take a reference video and rebuild around it (Higgsfield MCP). HeyGen starts from a script and a person, so its raw material is your messaging, not your media.
- Fix the measure before the variants exist. Hook rate per variant, the share of impressions that watch the first three seconds, read in your ad platform against the ad you are trying to beat.
Both are drifting toward each other. HeyGen's Pro plan now includes Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and cinematic scenes around an avatar (HeyGen pricing). Higgsfield's Marketing Studio puts a presenter from 100+ avatars in front of your product (Marketing Studio). The centre of gravity still differs: HeyGen sells "AI videos starring you", Higgsfield an AI-native creative suite with many models under one subscription.

The differences that decide it
Whose face
HeyGen builds around identity: every custom avatar needs on-camera verification from the person shown (homepage). Higgsfield's Soul ID learns a face from photos and asks you to upload only your own or someone's who has given permission (Soul ID guide). Either way, a generated person who could pass for real brings consent and a label with it; the avatar consent use case covers both.
Volume against message
Higgsfield's agent recipes are about multiplying an ad: new hooks, a new location, another product or call to action on the same structure (MCP article). HeyGen's strength is saying something precise, the same way, in many languages and to many accounts, with a presenter people recognise.
Reach across markets
HeyGen re-voices footage in 175+ languages and dialects with the mouth matched (HeyGen pricing). Higgsfield's Audio tool translates and re-voices in 18 languages (lipsync guide). Selling in Dutch, Polish and Portuguese with one spokesperson favours HeyGen.
The money, by budget
| Monthly budget | HeyGen buys | Higgsfield buys |
|---|---|---|
| About $20 to $30 | Creator, $29: 600 credits, 1080p, your own avatar | Starter, $19: 270 credits, selected models |
| About $50 to $60 | Pro, $49: 1,000 credits, 4K, Seedance 2.5 | Plus, $59: 1,200 credits, all models |
| About $130 to $150 | Business, $149: 1,500 credits, shared workspace | Ultra, $129: 3,000 credits |
Monthly billing, taken from the HeyGen and Higgsfield pricing pages on 26 October 2026. Billed yearly, HeyGen shows $24, $41 and $119 a month; Higgsfield shows $19, $47 and $99.
The agent step: three hooks on one ad
In Claude's connector settings, add Higgsfield with the URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp and authorise it; no API key is needed (MCP article). Give it your top-performing ad and ask, in Higgsfield's own example wording, for three complete versions with new opening hooks and the rest unchanged (Higgsfield MCP). The human check: before any version goes into the ad account, a person reads each new hook against what the product can back, and adds a visible AI label wherever a generated person appears. Generations land in your Assets tagged with the MCP source.
Where the plan design pulls
Higgsfield's Unlimited models and free generations apply on higgsfield.ai only; through MCP, Canvas or Supercomputer every generation deducts credits at standard rates (MCP article). The plan card says unlimited where a person clicks, and the meter runs where an agent works.
Free first
Before any AI variant, cut three new openings for your current top ad by hand in the editor you already have, and run them for a week. If new hooks do not move hook rate, generated ones will not either. Then test the tools free: HeyGen lets you make three watermarked one-minute videos a month for nothing (pricing); Higgsfield's free tier covers a small set of models, watermarked, with no trial of the paid plans (plans guide).
Choose HeyGen if
- You need someone on screen explaining a product, a policy or an offer.
- One message has to reach several language markets with lips matched.
- Brand trust depends on a recognisable person who verified their own avatar.
Choose Higgsfield if
- Your job is paid-social creative at volume: hooks, product shots, UGC-style formats.
- You want many video and image models under one subscription.
- Your team already runs creative tests and needs more variants to feed them.

FAQ
Can Higgsfield make talking avatars like HeyGen?
Yes. Lipsync Studio offers models from Kling Avatars 2.0 to Higgsfield Speak 2.0 and Infinite Talk for longer talking clips (lipsync guide). It does not match HeyGen's language range.
Can HeyGen generate product scenes without a presenter?
Yes. Its asset generation runs models such as HeyGen Video, Seedance, Veo and Wan, from 12 credits a minute depending on the model (credits article).
Is there a refund if Higgsfield does not fit?
Only inside the first week after the initial purchase, only with zero credits spent, and minus a fee that can reach 6%; renewals get no refund (plans guide).
