The short answer: if the video's job is to sell a product in a paid feed, Creatify fits: paste the product page and it drafts the ad, on plans from $15 a month billed monthly (Creatify pricing). If the job is a person explaining something, or a filmed speaker reaching other languages with the lips matched, HeyGen fits: Creator is $29 a month, and its Speed translation uses 6 credits a minute, so a 3-minute demo into five languages costs 3 x 5 x 6 = 90 of the plan's 600 credits (HeyGen pricing, credits article, both checked on 26 October 2026).

Both vendors now sell avatars, agents and a long list of video models, so the feature lists overlap more each quarter. Their centres have not moved. Creatify starts from the thing you sell. HeyGen starts from the person who speaks.
Start here:
- Do the sum on your real month. For example, eight product ads at the 5 credits a video the Creatify free plan implies (10 credits for up to 2 video ads) use 40 of Standard's 55 credits (Creatify pricing); one 4-minute presenter video as a HeyGen Avatar IV video look uses 4 x 31 = 124 of Creator's 600 (HeyGen credits article).
- Begin with the asset you have. Product pages with images and reviews point one way; a recorded webinar, a founder who agrees in writing to become an avatar, or a deck point the other.
- Pick the measure before the render. Cost per purchase for an ad, completion rate for an explainer, each read where the video runs and set against the version it replaces.
Same input, different output
| You hand it | Creatify returns | HeyGen returns |
|---|---|---|
| A product URL | A video ad with script, visuals and an AI actor | A URL-to-Video option exists, but the product leads with presenters and translation |
| A script | An avatar ad from 300 actors on Standard, 1,500 from Pro | A presenter video from 700+ stock avatars, up to 30 minutes on Creator and Pro |
| A video you filmed in English | Not its starting point; it re-renders its own ads in 75+ languages | The same speaker re-voiced in 175+ languages and dialects, lips synced |
| A photo or video of a colleague | A custom avatar, 3 on Pro and above | A custom video avatar, one even on Free, after the person's consent |
| A request to an AI agent | MCP presets, and a Performance Agent that can launch campaigns, from Pro | An MCP server for avatar video, templates and translation |

The deciding differences
A product in front, or a person
Creatify's URL to Video reads the product's details, features, benefits and selling points, writes the script and returns a ready-to-run ad in under 60 seconds, by its own account (URL to Video); the actor plays a supporting role. In HeyGen the presenter is the lead, from stock avatars to a digital twin of someone on your team, and the product appears around them (HeyGen homepage). A catalogue of three hundred products needs the first. A product that needs explaining needs the second.
Localising: rebuild or re-voice
Creatify localises an ad by re-rendering it in another of its 75+ languages (URL to Video). HeyGen's translation keeps your original footage and changes the voice, with lip sync, for 6 credits a minute on Speed and 10 on Precision (credits article); on Pro you can edit and proofread the translated script before the final render (pricing). If the source is generated, rebuilding is fine. If it is a real person on film, re-voicing keeps them.
How long a credit lives
Creatify's unused credits stay valid for 2 months (pricing FAQ). HeyGen's monthly subscribers keep unused credits for one more cycle, and annual subscribers keep accumulating them until renewal (pricing FAQ).
The monthly bill
On monthly billing, Creatify Standard costs $15 for 55 credits and Pro $55 for 280, with annual billing at $10 and $38 a month; the free plan gives 10 credits a month (Creatify pricing). HeyGen's Free plan costs nothing, Creator $29 for 600 credits ($24 a month billed yearly), Pro from $49 for 1,000 credits, and Business $149 plus $20 per extra seat (HeyGen pricing). All in USD, checked on 26 October 2026.
Localising a winner with Creatify's agent
Creatify's MCP server, at https://api.creatify.ai/mcp, works from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex, and one of its presets, Ad localizer, translates and adapts a winning ad for new markets (Creatify MCP). Point it at the ad with the lowest cost per purchase last month and ask for German and Dutch versions.
The check belongs to a native speaker in each market, before upload: read the on-screen text and listen to the voice, confirm the price and currency match the local shop, and remove any claim that does not hold there. If the winning ad features a real person on film, run the translation in HeyGen instead, so the speaker keeps their face and voice, and have the same native speaker proofread the translated script first.
Free tests, in this order
Paste one product page into Creatify's free plan; 10 credits make up to 2 watermarked video ads (pricing). Then make one HeyGen video on its free plan, which allows 3 watermarked videos a month of up to a minute, with Avatar IV and the Video Agent included in trial form (pricing). Show both to the person who owns the channel. The one they would post as it stands tells you which subscription to start.
When you do subscribe, mind which rollover you are buying. HeyGen keeps its generous version, credits that pile up all year, for subscribers who have prepaid twelve months (pricing FAQ), which makes the annual plan look cheaper per credit than it turns out for a team that never uses them all. Size the plan on monthly billing first, then switch once a quarter of real use has shown the number.
Product or presenter: the call
- Choose Creatify if your job is product video ads at catalogue scale, launched to Meta, TikTok or AppLovin from the same tool.
- Choose HeyGen if your job is a trusted face that explains, sells or trains, or recorded video that has to work in other languages.

FAQ
What does HeyGen's free plan include?
Three watermarked videos a month of up to a minute, trial access to Avatar IV, the Video Agent and lip-synced translation, one custom video avatar and 500+ ready-made presenters in 30+ languages; no credit card is needed (pricing).
How many AI actors does Creatify have?
300 on Standard and 1,500 on Pro, Max and Business, plus 3 custom avatars on those three plans (pricing).
Can either tool launch the ads?
Creatify can: its plan table lists an Ad Launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, and a Performance Agent from Pro that builds and launches campaigns (pricing, Performance Agent). HeyGen's pricing page lists no ad launcher, so its videos go into the ad platform as files you upload.
