The short answer: if your strongest Meta ad already works in English and the job is making it speak German and French, ElevenLabs is the tool: its Ads Engine, on the Pro plan at $99 a month, pulls existing ads from your Meta and Google accounts, translates the copy and dubs the video in 50+ languages with the original speaker's voice (Ads Engine docs, ElevenLabs pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). If the job is producing new visuals every week, product shots, UGC-style clips, talking presenters from a still, Higgsfield is built for it, from Plus at $59 a month for 1,200 credits (Higgsfield pricing). Each now reaches into the other's ground, but sound is still ElevenLabs' home and the picture is Higgsfield's.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

The order to think in:

  1. Price one asset in each currency. For example, a 15-second talking clip on Higgsfield Speak 2.0 at 720p, about 14 credits per 5 seconds, is 3 x 14 = 42 credits, so Plus holds 1,200 / 42 = 28 of them (Higgsfield pricing). On ElevenLabs, dubbing a 30-second ad into three languages at the automatic, unwatermarked rate of 3,000 credits a minute is 3 x 0.5 x 3,000 = 4,500 credits, under 1% of Pro's 600,000 (pricing FAQ).
  2. Start from the creative you already own. Ads Engine works on ads you made anywhere, pulled from Meta (text, image and video) and Google Search (text) (Ads Engine docs). Higgsfield's Marketing Studio starts from a product URL or an image and turns it into a UGC, unboxing, tutorial or TV-spot ad (What is Higgsfield). Footage that sells points to the first; a catalogue with no footage points to the second.
  3. Fix the comparison per market. Cost per result of the localised ad in each country against the English original in its home market, over the same two weeks of spend.

The differences that decide it

Translating what works, or replacing it

Ads Engine's actions read like a localisation desk: translate an ad into several languages at once, adapt text overlays and image composition per market, dub the video with Dubbing v2, which keeps the speaker's tone and pacing, then launch the result back into the ad platform (Ads Engine docs). Higgsfield's tools multiply the creative instead: a character trained once and cast in new scenes, product ads from a link, batches of variations from its Supercomputer agent, generated rather than adapted (What is Higgsfield). A team with one winning ad and five markets needs the first. A team whose ads tire every ten days needs the second.

Where the voice lives

Higgsfield's Audio has three modes, Text to Speech, Voice Change and Translate across 18 languages, and lets you pick the audio model, Qwen among them (voiceover guide). Several of its video models also generate sound with the picture. ElevenLabs' speech covers 90+ languages and a library of 17,500+ voices (homepage), with a separate studio for line-by-line dubbing. If a voice carries the ad, a spokesperson or a narrator, the depth sits with ElevenLabs.

How the credits behave

ElevenLabs rolls unused credits over for up to two months on a paid plan (pricing FAQ). Higgsfield resets individual-plan credits at each renewal, offers no trial, and refunds within 7 days of the first purchase only if no credits were used, minus a fee of up to 6% (plans guide). An uneven production calendar costs less on the first.

One agent step: an ad localised, with a native speaker in the loop

In Ads Engine, connect Meta from the Settings tab, open your strongest video ad and choose Translate with German and French as targets; the engine translates the copy, adapts the overlays and dubs the voice (Ads Engine docs). Switch on the optional approval workflow before anything runs. The human check: a native speaker in each market watches the dubbed cut with sound on, reads every overlay, and confirms the price, the offer and any legal line match that market before Launch ad pushes it to Meta. If the ad features a creator, check that their contract covers their voice speaking a language they never recorded; consent and the AI Act Article 50 label for a voice like that are in the AI avatar consent use case. Ads Engine is in alpha and has no API.

Choose ElevenLabs if your job is

  • Taking ads that already convert into new languages and markets, voice intact.
  • Voiceovers, a cloned spokesperson voice, podcasts or audio ads where sound carries the message.
  • One credit pool that also covers dubbing, music and voice agents.

Choose Higgsfield if your job is

  • Producing fresh video and image variants for paid social every week.
  • Turning a product page into UGC-style or TV-spot ads without a shoot.
  • Talking clips from a still image, with sound generated alongside the picture.

ElevenLabs has an entry on this site; Higgsfield does not, so go to higgsfield.ai.

Test the market before the tool

Before paying for either, run the English ad in your second market with translated captions for a week. A subtitled cut tells you whether the offer travels before you pay for a voice to carry it. Then voice the translated script on ElevenLabs' free 10,000 credits and listen with a native speaker; the commercial licence starts on Starter (pricing), so nothing from the free plan runs as an ad.

Ads Engine is sold from Pro at $99 a month, its review step is optional, and Launch ad sits among the same actions as Translate: the product is built to shorten the trip from a dub nobody local has heard to a live ad, and every market that comes to depend on that trip keeps the account on Pro (Ads Engine docs). Turn the approval on first.

FAQ

Can Higgsfield clone a brand voice?

Yes. In Audio, Create custom voice takes a recorded or uploaded MP3 or WAV sample and clones it into a reusable voice, and the guide asks you to clone only your own voice or one you have permission to use (voiceover guide).

Can ElevenLabs generate video on the free plan?

No. Free users can generate images only, three requests a day; video needs a paid plan, and generating through the API needs Pro or above (Image & Video docs).

Does Ads Engine work with LinkedIn ads?

For performance insights only. It localises and launches Meta ads (text, image and video) and Google Search text ads, and reads LinkedIn performance data without pushing ads there (Ads Engine docs).
