The short answer: if a small business wants its phone answered on its own number, daily lead outreach and a social calendar without designing any of it, Marblism's 50-hour base plan costs $44 a month billed monthly (Marblism pricing article). If the work is thinking and writing that changes every week, research, analysis, briefs and decks, Claude Pro costs $20 a month billed monthly and works from a conversation, with scheduled tasks and connected apps (Claude pricing). Both prices were checked on 26 October 2026.

What Marblism changes is that the jobs arrive pre-built. Each of its seven AI employees has a role, an onboarding and a routine: Sonny checks in daily with post ideas or drafts, Penny weekly, Stan finds new leads every day when daily sourcing is on, and Eva sorts every new email (getting started). The job it wins is the front office of a small business, phone, inbox, outreach and social, run by someone with no time to design any of it. Claude starts blank. There are no roles to onboard, only the brief you write and the files and apps you share, and the same assistant pulls themes from interview notes or turns an analysis into a slide deck, two of Anthropic's own examples (one Claude).
First, the sums:
- Turn a month of work into hours. For example, 30 calls answered use 30 x 10 = 300 minutes, which is 5 of the base plan's 50 hours, and 20 social posts use 20 x 30 = 600 minutes, another 10 (Marblism pricing article). Claude Pro is one price, and what can run out is usage, which resets on a rolling five-hour window with a weekly limit on paid plans (Claude pricing FAQ).
- Start from what you already connect. Eva works in Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook or any IMAP inbox, and hours plans add 100+ apps such as HubSpot, Mailchimp and Notion, though not Slack yet (integrations). Claude connects apps such as Google Drive, Gmail, Microsoft 365 and Slack from Customize, Connectors (one Claude).
- Write down the output you will count. Calls answered and booked, leads that replied, briefs someone read. The meter shows spend; those counts show results.

How they differ
Roles you hire, or a brief you write
Marblism decides the shape of the work for you, which suits an owner with no time to spare: onboard Rachel with a greeting and a booking calendar, and she answers calls (getting started). Claude has no standing routine until you give it one, and then does whatever the brief says, from a spreadsheet with working formulas to a presentation you can open in PowerPoint (one Claude). One gives you staff with job titles; the other gives you an assistant that waits for a brief.
What happens while you are away
Marblism's employees work between your messages: Eva sorts each new email and saves replies as drafts, and she never sends from your inbox; the one thing that goes out by default is her summary of a meeting's takeaways to the other guests (getting started). Claude's scheduled tasks run in the cloud even when your computer is off, and Anthropic's own advice is to start with summaries, avoid tasks that send messages on your behalf, and review the output after each run (Use Cowork safely).
How the cost behaves at the edge
When Marblism's hours run out, work in progress finishes, scheduled tasks that come due are cancelled and Rachel's line pauses; adding hours means moving to a bigger plan, since there is no one-off top-up (pricing article). On Claude the next step up is Max, with 5x or 20x Pro's usage from $100 a month (Claude pricing).
An automation that drafts, and a person who sends
Marblism documents the agent step. On an hours plan, add a task that runs on an app event: when a new lead is added in Salesforce, Eva drafts a welcome email (integrations). Each automation run uses 25 seconds of your hours (pricing article), and a workspace can run up to 200 a day. The human check is built into Eva: the reply lands as a draft in your inbox, and a person reads it and presses send. Marblism warns that nobody is there to approve during an automation, so any step that changes data in an app must be set to Always allow or it will not run; keep the automation to drafting.
Prices, checked on 26 October 2026
From the Marblism pricing article and Claude's pricing page, per month:
| Marblism | Claude | |
|---|---|---|
| Free | No free tier; 7-day money-back guarantee | Free plan, $0 |
| Entry, billed monthly | 50 hours, $44 | Pro, $20 |
| Entry, longer terms | $33 quarterly, $24 yearly | $17 on annual billing, $200 up front |
| More capacity | 100 hours, $82 monthly; up to 10,000 hours at $6,000 | Max, from $100, billed monthly only |
| A team | Unlimited members on any plan | Team: $25 a standard seat monthly, or $20 annually |
Marblism sells no top-ups. When the 50 hours run out in week three, the way to finish the month is the next tier, 70 hours at $60 billed monthly, with the prorated difference charged that day and the bigger plan kept until you move back down (pricing article). That rule turns one busy week into a larger monthly bill unless somebody reverses it, so put a downgrade check on the reset date the day you upgrade.
Choose Marblism if your job is
- Answering the phone, booking appointments and sending call summaries.
- Daily lead sourcing and outreach by email and LinkedIn, set up once.
- Social and blog drafts produced on a routine, inside the same app.
Choose Claude if your job is
- Research, analysis, writing and finished files that differ every week.
- Scheduled briefings from Slack, Drive or Gmail, read before anyone acts.
- Reaching your own tools through custom connectors to MCP servers.
Start on paper and on the free plan
The free test is a list: the work you want gone this month, each item tagged as front-office routine or thinking work. Price the routine items in Marblism hours with the table in its pricing article, and run two of the thinking items through Claude's Free plan, which includes web search, file creation and connected apps (Claude pricing). Marblism has no free tier, so if the list points to it, start on monthly billing inside the 7-day money-back window (Marblism pricing).
Sometimes the list shows something else: the routine work is fine, and the real gap is that nobody owns marketing at all. No AI employee fills that chair; an interim CMO does, and that is work I sell.
