The short answer: consider Catchr if your reports live in Data Studio or Sheets, many people build and read them, and you want every refresh to ask the platform directly with nothing kept in between: Starter is $24 a month, or $239 a year, for 3 platforms and 10 accounts with unlimited users (Catchr pricing). Consider Windsor.ai if you need BigQuery or scheduled Sheets syncs from the entry plan, room for many client accounts, or an assistant that can also pause a campaign: Basic is $23 a month, or $19 billed annually, for 3 sources and 75 accounts (Windsor.ai pricing). Both prices were checked on 26 October 2026.

Size it before the trial:

  1. Your client accounts, priced both ways. For example, an agency reporting 25 accounts across Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 outgrows Catchr Starter's 10 and lands on Momentum, $79 a month for 5 platforms and 30 accounts, unless it buys packs of 10 accounts at $19.99 each (Catchr pricing). The same 25 fit inside Windsor.ai Basic's 75 at $23 a month, so $79 - $23 = $56 a month apart on monthly billing (Windsor.ai pricing).
  2. The tools you already report in. If Data Studio is the whole job, both serve it. If a BigQuery project already exists or is planned for this year, note that Catchr adds BigQuery on Growth and Windsor.ai on every plan.
  3. When yesterday is complete. Pick one report and write down the hour it first shows yesterday's spend in full. Catchr calls the platform at every refresh; Windsor.ai caches query results for 6 hours unless someone clears the cache (Windsor.ai answers). That hour is the measure of freshness you can compare in the two trials.

What separates them

A live call or a scheduled copy

Catchr's help centre says all its connectors are live except Amazon Ads: a Data Studio refresh or a Sheets request goes to the platform's API, and no platform data is stored on Catchr's side (how Catchr works). Windsor.ai caches query results for 6 hours, allows a manual Clear Cache at most once every two hours, and runs destination tasks daily on Basic, hourly from Standard (answers page). Live calls give the newest number and depend on the platform answering at that moment. A scheduled copy is a few hours older and still there when the API is slow.

Where the data can go on the cheapest plan

Catchr's Starter covers visualisation and spreadsheet destinations plus AI assistants; BigQuery and API access arrive on Growth, and other warehouses, databases and storage on Scale (pricing page). Windsor.ai includes every destination on every plan, Snowflake and Databricks among them, and the tier sets how many scheduled syncs run and how often.

Whether the assistant may act

Catchr's MCP page describes the server's work as finding accounts, querying fields and returning data, and says each MCP connection defines what the AI can do (MCP page). Windsor.ai's MCP reads and writes: Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns can be created, budgets moved and other platforms paused, with a confirmation before each change and new items created paused (answers page). For an agency where a junior analyst asks the questions, a server that only reads can be the safer default.

Both price lists on 26 October 2026

Catchr, from its pricing page, monthly price then yearly total: Starter $24 or $239, Momentum $79 or $790, Growth $239 or $2,390, Scale $599 or $5,990. Extra platforms and packs of 10 accounts are listed at $19.99 each. The annual tab's per-month figures, such as $23.90 for Starter beside a $239 year, are not the year divided by 12, so compare yearly totals.

Windsor.ai, from its pricing page, annual then monthly billing: Basic $19 or $23, Standard $99 or $118, Plus $249 or $299, Professional $499 or $598, Enterprise on quote.

Who each one is for

Choose Catchr if your job is a Data Studio or Sheets report set that account managers, analysts and clients all open, refreshed live from the platforms, with an AI assistant that answers questions and changes nothing.

Choose Windsor.ai if your job is keeping many client accounts in one place with a warehouse copy from the first plan, or letting Claude act on campaigns once a person confirms each change. The Windsor.ai how-to covers the BigQuery route.

On Professional, Windsor.ai offers Auto-add all accounts, which connects every account a login can see, and each one counts toward the plan's 500 (answers page). The convenience works in the direction of the next tier, so an agency is better off ticking the accounts its reports use.

A client brief drafted by the assistant

Catchr's MCP page carries a prompt built for the hour before a client call. It asks Claude, using Catchr, for a client-ready brief that compares a date range with the previous equivalent period across named sources, opens with the five most important changes and the metrics behind each, and closes with three questions for the meeting (MCP page). The account manager opens the client's Data Studio report for the same dates and checks each of the five changes before the brief leaves the building. If one figure is off, the brief waits. Where the summary goes into the client report itself, the client report AI summaries use case compares approval steps across three reporting tools.

Free first

Start Windsor.ai on its free account, which runs 30 days with 10 sources and 15 accounts and then keeps one source and one account without charge (pricing page), and Catchr on its 14-day trial with no card (pricing page). Point both at the same client and the same Data Studio template. The freshness hour from the list above, and the time each took to set up, will decide most cases.

Each tool's limits are set out in its entry: Catchr and Windsor.ai.

FAQ

Does Catchr keep a copy of my ad data?

No, apart from Amazon Ads, which it loads into a database daily; every other request goes to the platform at the moment a report asks (how Catchr works).

Can Claude change campaigns through either tool?

Through Windsor.ai, yes, after a confirmation for each change, unless the ad account was connected with a read-only login (answers page). Catchr's MCP page describes querying data, not changing it.

Which reaches BigQuery for less?

Windsor.ai, from $19 a month billed annually on Basic. Catchr adds BigQuery on Growth, at $239 a month or $2,390 a year (Catchr pricing).
