The short answer: you are not misreading Supermetrics' MCP page: its header offers MCP access with any subscription, and its FAQ says MCP comes with plans that include Data API access, which the pricing page lists under Enterprise (Supermetrics MCP, pricing page). For one team that wants the same Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 data in Sheets, Claude and BigQuery, Windsor.ai Basic at $19 a month billed annually covers all three, because Windsor.ai counts data sources and accounts and never destinations; Supermetrics Starter from $44 includes one core destination, and BigQuery waits for Enterprise (checked on 26 October 2026 on the Windsor.ai and Supermetrics pricing pages). Choose Supermetrics when single sign-on and approval levels on campaign changes are required from the first plan. Choose Windsor.ai when one dataset has to live in several tools on a small budget.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Count these before either trial:

  1. Destinations, with prices. Sheets plus Data Studio on Supermetrics Starter is $44 + $49 = $93 a month billed yearly, since a second core destination costs $49 and Starter stops at two (Supermetrics pricing). On Windsor.ai Basic the same pair, BigQuery and Claude included, stays at $19 (Windsor.ai pricing).
  2. The accounts you already manage. Windsor.ai adds accounts up across sources, 75 on Basic; Supermetrics counts per source, 7 on Growth and up to 15 with extras at $11 each on yearly billing. For example, 12 Google Ads client accounts under one manager account use 12 of Windsor.ai's 75, and on Supermetrics need Growth plus 5 extra accounts: $177 + 5 x $11 = $232 a month billed yearly (Windsor.ai counting guide).
  3. What your IT team asks for. Supermetrics lists single sign-on on Starter; Windsor.ai keeps it for Enterprise (Windsor.ai pricing). If SSO is a condition of buying any tool, the comparison ends here.
  4. Seven closed days to test on. Note spend and clicks per platform from each ad manager; both trials must return them.

Where the choice gets made

At Supermetrics, each destination is a line on the invoice

Supermetrics' FAQ is plain about it: it charges per destination and includes sources, accounts and users within each package (pricing FAQ). That suits a team reporting in one place. It penalises one that wants the same numbers in a finance sheet, a board dashboard and a chat window, which is the team Windsor.ai's pricing is drawn for.

Who is allowed to move money

Both connect Claude to ad accounts that it can change. Supermetrics asks you to pick when a human must approve: never, before going live, before budget changes and going live, or before any change to a live campaign, and it logs every change in a history you can revert from (campaign guide). Windsor.ai's assistant asks before every change and creates new items paused, and a read-only platform login blocks writes entirely (answers page). The Supermetrics how-to and the Windsor.ai how-to walk through each setting.

What the free start proves

Windsor.ai's first 30 days carry 10 sources and 15 accounts, then the account steps down to one source and one account on the free plan, with the rest paused rather than deleted (answers page). Supermetrics gives 14 days on whatever you connect, without a card. Windsor.ai's longer window suits a monthly report; Supermetrics' suits a weekly one tested twice.

Prices on 26 October 2026

Windsor.ai, per its pricing page, in dollars a month on annual billing with monthly billing in brackets: Basic 19 (23), Standard 99 (118), Plus 249 (299), Professional 499 (598); Enterprise quoted. Every plan includes every connector and destination.

Supermetrics, per its pricing page, on the same basis: Starter 44 (55), Growth 177 (222), Enterprise quoted, with extra destinations, users, sources and accounts at fixed prices.

Pick by the job

Choose Supermetrics if your job is reporting for a company whose IT rules require single sign-on on every tool, with campaign changes from Claude held behind an approval level you set per account, or AI-built dashboards in Supermetrics Studio.

Choose Windsor.ai if your job is keeping one set of Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 numbers in Sheets, Data Studio, BigQuery and Claude at once, or reporting on many client accounts across a few platforms. The weekly report use case builds an n8n agent on it.

Windsor.ai files a page called Windsor vs Supermetrics under "Why Windsor" in its own navigation (homepage), which is a comparison graded by one of the two candidates; the parity test below is the version you grade yourself.

A parity test run by an agent

Connect both in Claude during the trials and send each the same prompt: "Using [Supermetrics or Windsor.ai], give total spend and clicks for Google Ads and Meta Ads for these seven dates, in the ad account's time zone, and name the accounts you queried." Windsor.ai's own checklist for mismatches names the level, date range, time zone and attribution setting (answers page), so put all four in the prompt. A person sets both answers beside the numbers noted from the ad managers. The tool that matches without a second prompt has earned the first month.

Blended tables and the conversion column

Windsor.ai's Blended Data connector returns every connected source in one table with a source column (answers page), and Supermetrics sells data blends inside Enterprise transformations. A blended table puts a sum of conversions one formula away. Each platform counts by its own rules: Meta credits events within 1 or 7 days of a click and 1 day after a view (Meta attribution settings), and Google Ads counts on the impression date (Google Ads discrepancies). Blend spend and clicks freely. For conversions, give the sheet one more line, sales booked in your own system for the same dates, and label the platform total "claimed". Later, when the claimed and booked lines keep drifting apart and the question is which spend produced the bookings, a causal attribution tool can measure it, and Causality Engine is one (disclosure: I founded it).

The Supermetrics entry and the Windsor.ai entry list every plan limit.

FAQ

Does Claude count as a destination on both?

On Supermetrics, AI chats are a destination you add or swap in (AI tools article). On Windsor.ai, Claude, ChatGPT and Data Studio are destinations included on every plan and never counted (pricing FAQ).

Which is cheaper for one marketer with three sources?

Windsor.ai Basic at $19 a month billed annually, against Supermetrics Starter from $44, both checked on 26 October 2026 on the Windsor.ai and Supermetrics pricing pages.

Can either refresh every hour?

Windsor.ai syncs hourly from Standard at $99 a month billed annually (pricing page). Supermetrics says hourly refreshes depend on both the subscription and how often the source's API updates, so a 24-hour source stays static whatever the plan (refresh article).
