Coupler.io vs Windsor.ai: Reshape the Data or Just Move It

The short answer: if the job is moving Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 into Sheets, BigQuery and Claude at the same time, Windsor.ai's $19 Basic plan, billed annually, counts none of those destinations, while Coupler.io counts each one, Claude included, so three of them need Active at $99 (checked on 26 October 2026 on the Windsor.ai and Coupler.io pricing pages). If the job is joining, stacking and aggregating sources before the data lands, for a team of several editors, Coupler.io does that inside the flow and Windsor.ai leaves most of it to the destination. Choose by which half of the work costs you more hours today.

Start from the destinations:
- Price the places the data must reach. Sheets, BigQuery and Claude are three destinations at Coupler.io, which Starter's one cannot hold, so Active at $99; on Windsor.ai Basic they cost $19. Over a year that is ($99 - $19) x 12 = $960 on annual billing, per the Coupler.io and Windsor.ai pricing pages.
- Then count platforms, not just accounts. Windsor.ai's Basic stops at 3 data sources and Standard at 7; Coupler.io limits accounts but not sources. For example, five platforms with two accounts each is 10 accounts: Coupler.io Active fits with 15, and Windsor.ai needs Standard at $99 a month billed annually for its 7 sources (Windsor.ai pricing). At five platforms the two cost the same.
- Read the first week's run history. Coupler.io's Starter pulls at most 5,000 rows per source per run, counted before filters, and pauses the schedule when a flow hits it (features and limits). Windsor.ai emails your team when a destination task fails (answers page). Either way, the first week's failures tell you whether the plan fits.
The two on one line each
| What sets the price | Destinations included | Reshaping in the tool | AI over MCP | Free plan after the trial | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coupler.io | Accounts across sources, destinations, rows on Starter | 1 on Starter, 3 on Active, unlimited on Pro | Formulas, Append, Join, Aggregate, SQL data sets | Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others, each added as a destination | 1 account, 100 rows a run, manual refresh |
| Windsor.ai | Data sources and accounts | All of them, on every plan | Blended Data connector and custom fields | Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and other clients on every plan, with write actions | 1 source, 1 account, 5 daily destination tasks |

Three ways they differ
Reshape before the data lands, or after
Coupler.io puts a data sets step inside every flow, where you rename and filter columns, add formulas, stack platforms with Append, match them on a key with Join and roll them up with Aggregate, all from Starter (pricing page). Its MCP adds SQL data sets that join or pivot within a flow (MCP documentation). Windsor.ai's Blended Data connector queries all connected sources in one request and hands back a single table with a column naming the source, and custom fields add formulas such as ROI from ad spend and Shopify revenue (answers page). Anything beyond that happens in BigQuery or the sheet. If an analyst already reshapes in SQL, Windsor.ai's way costs nothing extra. If nobody does, Coupler.io's step is the reason to pay for it.
How an AI tool gets in
Coupler.io exposes a flow to Claude only when Claude is that flow's destination, and to ChatGPT only when ChatGPT is (MCP documentation). Windsor.ai connects Claude to everything connected under your login through one MCP server on every plan, free plan included, and the same server can pause campaigns and change budgets after a confirmation (answers page). One is narrow by design. The other is broad by default, and a read-only platform login is how you narrow it.
What keeps running for free
After its seven days at Pro limits, Coupler.io's free plan keeps one data flow active, with one account, 100 rows a run and no automatic refresh (pricing FAQ). Windsor.ai's free plan, after 30 days with 10 sources, keeps one source and one account, and its destination tasks still run daily (answers page). For one ad account feeding one sheet every morning, only one of the two free plans keeps going.
What the budget buys, side by side
| Monthly budget, billed annually | Coupler.io | Windsor.ai |
|---|---|---|
| $19 to $24 | Starter, $24: 3 accounts, 1 destination, 1 user | Basic, $19: 3 sources, 75 accounts, all destinations |
| $99 | Active: 15 accounts, 3 destinations, unlimited users | Standard: 7 sources, 75 accounts, hourly syncs |
| $199 to $249 | Pro, $199: 50 accounts, unlimited destinations, hourly | Plus, $249: 10 sources, 200 accounts |
| $499 and up | Custom plan, priced through sales | Professional, $499: 14 sources, 500 accounts, 15-minute syncs |
Prices checked on 26 October 2026 on the Coupler.io and Windsor.ai pricing pages. Monthly billing costs $32, $132 and $259 at Coupler.io, and $23, $118, $299 and $598 at Windsor.ai.
Matching the tool to the work
Choose Coupler.io if your job is a cross-channel table that must be joined, stacked or aggregated before anyone opens it, edited by a team, landing in one to three places.
Choose Windsor.ai if your job is the same raw platform data in several places at once, Sheets, Data Studio, BigQuery and Claude, on a small budget, with transformation done by someone who writes SQL or formulas.
Coupler.io makes every AI tool a destination of its own, and the destination is the unit its Starter plan limits to one (features and limits). So the first time a team wants the same table in Sheets and in Claude, the fix Coupler.io's plan table offers is Active at $99 a month, $99 - $24 = $75 more than Starter on annual billing. Decide on day one which tools need the data, and the flow can stay on the plan you bought.
An agent that builds the flow
Through Coupler.io's MCP, Claude can create a data flow, attach a source and a destination, set a schedule and start a run. Those are real changes to the workspace, and Coupler.io tells the AI to check with you before any you did not request (MCP documentation). A useful first request: "Build a flow that appends daily Google Ads and Meta Ads campaign spend into one table, with a Platform column, scheduled daily." Read the plan Claude proposes before you confirm it, run the flow once, and check one day's spend per platform against each ad manager before the table feeds any report. The Coupler.io how-to does the same merge by hand, step by step.
Background on both sits in the Coupler.io glossary entry and the Windsor.ai glossary entry.
FAQ
Can I buy a few more accounts without changing plan?
On Coupler.io, yes: extra accounts cost $4.49 each a month on annual billing or $5.99 on monthly (Coupler.io pricing). On Windsor.ai, no: a setup that needs more sources or accounts moves to the next plan, and unticking unused accounts frees their slots (answers page).
Can Windsor.ai join two sources on a key?
Its answers page describes the Blended Data connector as one table with a source column, plus custom fields for formulas (answers page). A join on a key belongs in the destination, such as BigQuery.
Which one refreshes hourly for less?
Coupler.io refreshes hourly from Pro at $199 a month billed annually, Windsor.ai from Standard at $99 (Coupler.io pricing, Windsor.ai pricing).
