ScoreApp vs Typeform: Scorecard Funnels or Scored Forms

The short answer: at 100 finished quizzes a month the two cost the same, $39 billed monthly for ScoreApp Starter and for Typeform Basic, so the entry price decides nothing; what the $39 builds does. ScoreApp builds the whole funnel, a landing page, a quiz scored by category and a results page for each score tier, which suits a consultancy or agency selling a "how ready are you" scorecard. Typeform builds forms that also score, and from 1,000 responses a month it is the cheaper of the two: Plus at $79 against ScoreApp Business at $99 for the same 1,000 (checked on 26 October 2026 on the ScoreApp and Typeform pricing pages).

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Before you build either:

  1. Price the tier you will reach in month three. For example, at 1,000 responses a month ScoreApp Business costs $99 and Typeform Plus $79 on monthly billing, a $20 gap that is 12 x $20 = $240 a year; billed yearly it is $891 against 12 x $56 = $672, using the ScoreApp and Typeform pricing pages. At 3,000 a month, ScoreApp Pro is $149 for 3,000 while Typeform Business is $129 for 10,000.
  2. Start from the questions sales already asks. If you run a Typeform lead form today, the Typeform how-to shows scores and calculations added to it; ScoreApp's AI Builder drafts a scorecard from a chat about your business instead.
  3. Measure completion from start to result. ScoreApp's statistics report visitors, lead counts and conversion rate on every plan, per its MCP guide, and Typeform's Results panel gives basic performance metrics on its free plan, per the free plan article. Take that rate from a test week before you spend on traffic.

The segmenting version of this job, with an agent drafting the quiz and the consent rules for the follow-up emails, is in the quiz lead magnet use case. This page is about which tool to build it in.

Where they differ

The page around the quiz

A scorecard sells on its landing page and pays off on its results page, and ScoreApp builds both: unlimited landing pages from 50+ designed sections, and result pages whose sections change by score tier, on Starter, per its pricing page. Typeform has started on the same ground: Typeform Pages builds a landing page with an embedded form from a description, on all plans, but its help article calls it a beta that may need enabling for your account, and the result after the form is still an ending screen. If your website team can build a landing page in a day, the gap narrows to the results page.

One score or several

ScoreApp lists "Calculate multiple scores" on every plan, which is what lets a result read "strong on strategy, weak on data". Typeform can score answers and hold several variables, but its built-in score-range endings run in Knowledge quiz mode, which the free plan article lists as paid-only, and its score endings guide says the ranges must not overlap. A single readiness score fits Typeform well; a chart by category is ScoreApp's home ground.

Volume

ScoreApp's self-serve tiers stop at 3,000 responses a month before Enterprise, from $799 a month, per its pricing page. Typeform's Business plan includes 10,000, and its comparison table lists a maximum monthly limit of 50,000 with add-ons. A scorecard behind paid social at scale outgrows ScoreApp's self-serve tiers sooner.

An agent that reads the funnel, not the leads

ScoreApp's MCP connection gives Claude or ChatGPT a list-question-performance tool on plans with reports: answer counts, abandonments and average answer time for each question. Once a month, ask the agent which question loses the most people and to propose two rewrites of it. A person picks one, edits it in ScoreApp and watches the next month's figure. The same guide says that to keep leads' personal data away from the assistant entirely, you switch off all seven lead tools in your AI client, not only some of them. Typeform's MCP server offers a similar choice at connection time: read-only access, or permission to make changes. For a monthly review, read-only is enough.

Choose ScoreApp if your job is

  • A scorecard lead magnet with its own landing page and a result per category.
  • Handing each respondent a personalised PDF report, which needs Business.
  • Staying under 3,000 completions a month.

Choose Typeform if your job is

  • A scored lead or qualification form inside a site that already has pages.
  • Running quizzes beside surveys, research and lead forms on one account.
  • 1,000 responses a month or more, where its tiers cost less per response.

Free first, and the monthly meter

Both free tiers allow 10 responses a month: ScoreApp's pricing FAQ adds 1 live scorecard with no payment required, and Typeform's free plan article spreads the 10 across all forms. Build the same six-question quiz in each and put ten colleagues through both. Their comments on the result page will decide more than any feature table.

Then read Typeform's meter closely. The response limits article says unused responses do not carry over to the next month and deleting a response does not return it to the allowance, so a quiet month is paid for in full while a busy one ends in add-ons or an upgrade. Size the plan on your busiest month, and test in the free account rather than the paid one.

FAQ

Can Typeform show a different result for each score?

Yes. Its score endings guide creates one ending per score range in Knowledge quiz mode, which is a paid feature; on the free plan, logic and calculations can route people to different endings instead.

Which tool emails the result to the respondent?

ScoreApp lists sending a result email to the participant on every paid plan, per its pricing page. Typeform lists follow-up emails to respondents among its paid-only features in the free plan article.

Do the two count responses the same way?

Both meter responses a month. Typeform counts them across every form in the account and switches forms to Private mode at 100% of the limit, per the response limits article; ScoreApp's pricing page sets the monthly figure per plan alongside the number of live scorecards.
