Unbounce vs Webflow: Campaign Pages or the Whole Site

The short answer: if your team needs pages for paid traffic that it can test without touching the main site, Unbounce Experiment runs A/B tests on 30k visitors for $149 a month, while on Webflow testing arrives with the Optimize add-on at $379 a month on monthly billing for 25,000 page views, on top of a site plan (Unbounce pricing, Webflow pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). If the job is the whole marketing site, with a blog or case studies, Webflow Premium at $39 a month, or $25 billed yearly, is the base, and campaign pages can live inside it.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Webflow is where a designer and a content team share one site: a visual canvas that writes the code, a CMS for collections, hosting, and an MCP server listed on every site plan, the free one included (pricing). Unbounce sits beside the site rather than under it. Every plan includes unlimited subdomains and free hosting, so a campaign page can change ten times a week while nobody touches the main site (pricing). The overlap is new: Webflow now sells Campaigns, a product that generates on-brand landing pages and matching ads from a brief, works alongside any CMS and starts at $2k a month through sales (Webflow pricing, Campaigns page).

Settle the scope first:

  1. The price of a test. For example, testing on Webflow costs at least $39 for Premium plus $379 for Optimize, $418 a month on monthly billing, or $25 + $299 = $324 billed yearly, against $149 (yearly, $112) for Unbounce Experiment beside the site you already run (Webflow pricing, Unbounce pricing).
  2. Where the site lives today. If it is already on Webflow, a campaign page adds no subscription: Basic holds 300 static pages (pricing), and the open question is testing. If the site lives elsewhere, Unbounce adds pages without a migration.
  3. Who will build the pages. A designer in Webflow's canvas, or a marketer who changes copy weekly. Unbounce Experiment includes 3 users; Webflow bills people on Workspace plans, separately from the per-site price (Webflow pricing).
  4. What you will count. Unbounce meters visitors, each counted once a month; Webflow prices Optimize on page views and Analyze on sessions. Choose the measure that matters to you, qualified leads per visitor in the CRM, before either meter decides it for you.

Read on 26 October 2026 on the Unbounce and Webflow pricing pages. Webflow's prices are per site, in USD; its Optimize price rises with page views, starting at 25,000 a month.

Three differences that decide it

Beside the site, or inside it

A page in Unbounce lives on its own subdomain and its own release cycle; a broken test there cannot break the homepage. A page in Webflow shares the site's components, fonts and CMS, so it looks like the brand without extra work, and every change to it is a change to the site. With a designer who owns Webflow, the second is a strength. For a paid-media team shipping weekly, the first is safer.

How each prices a test

Unbounce sells testing as a plan: unlimited A/B tests, manual traffic allocation and a confidence reading on Experiment, AI routing on Optimize (pricing). Webflow sells it as an add-on priced on page views: up to 5 concurrent optimisations, A/B tests, personalisation, AI Optimize and audience targeting (pricing), and through sales it will run Optimize on sites not built on Webflow (Optimize page).

What Webflow Campaigns changes

Campaigns is aimed squarely at Unbounce's job: one brief produces the landing page, audience variations and ads, connects Marketo and HubSpot forms and pushes to Google Ads (Campaigns page). Its price starts at $2k a month, so it competes with Unbounce's custom Concierge and Agency plans rather than with Experiment.

A campaign page built by an agent in Webflow, published by a person

  1. Connect the Webflow MCP server in Claude. One authorisation covers one workspace, and the site must already exist, because the server cannot create new projects (MCP overview).
  2. Write the site's Agent Instructions first (brand voice, which components to use, what never to change), since each site can carry its own instructions for agents.
  3. Ask the agent for the campaign page from the site's existing components and styles, with the form wired to the fields your CRM expects.
  4. The human check: a person reviews the page on the visual canvas before anything is published, which Webflow's MCP page describes as the place to fine-tune AI output. Webflow lists single-page publishing on its Team plan; on smaller plans, check what else is waiting to publish before pressing the button, because the agent's page may not be the only change.

Page branches, which isolate such work, need an Enterprise plan, per the overview. On the Unbounce side, the MCP server builds a page from a Figma template or an approved copy document and hosts it on Unbounce.

Start free on both

Webflow's free Starter plan includes the MCP server, so an agent can be tried on a webflow.io site before anyone pays (pricing). Unbounce's 14-day trial needs no card, with one user and no custom domains. Run the same page through both before committing to either meter.

Unbounce's pricing page opens on the yearly view, so Experiment reads $112 in large type with the $149 monthly price beside it (pricing). That 25% is paid for with twelve months of commitment, before a single test has shown whether the page earns it. Start monthly, and switch once the second test has paid for itself.

Where Unbounce fits

  • Your job is paid campaign pages that change weekly and must not wait for the site's release cycle.
  • Your job is testing several versions of one page, with AI routing when audiences differ.
  • Your site runs on something other than Webflow, and should stay there.

Where Webflow fits

  • Your job is the whole marketing site, with a blog, case studies or a resource library in the CMS.
  • Your job is campaign pages that must look exactly like the site, built from its components.
  • Your designers already work in Webflow, and the agent should work there too.

On each product: the Unbounce entry and the Webflow entry. How to use Webflow audits SEO metadata with an agent; how to use Unbounce sets up Smart Traffic.

Sometimes the comparison is a symptom: the site in Webflow, campaign pages in Unbounce, forms in a third tool, and nobody can say which one owns the lead. That is a stack question rather than a tool question. A one-week review answers it before a fourth tool joins, and the one I sell for that is the Startup Fixer.

FAQ

Can Unbounce pages sit on my Webflow site's domain?

On a subdomain, yes. Every Unbounce plan includes unlimited subdomains and free hosting, and root domains run from 1 to 3 by plan (pricing). The main domain stays with Webflow.

Does Webflow run A/B tests without the Optimize add-on?

Not on its pricing page: A/B testing is listed inside Optimize, which starts at $299 a month billed yearly or $379 monthly (pricing). Campaigns is a separate product sold through sales.

What is Webflow Campaigns?

A product for marketers that builds landing pages and matching ads from a brief, alongside any CMS, from $2k a month (Campaigns page, pricing). Webflow's MCP overview says the MCP server covers Campaigns only for sites in its Early Access programme.
