The short answer: if recycling evergreen posts is the main job, RecurPost puts recurring libraries on every plan, from $9 a month for 2 accounts and $25 for 5, while ContentStudio keeps post recycling, RSS autoposting and approvals for Advanced, at $69 month to month or $49 a month billed annually for 10 accounts and 2 users (RecurPost pricing, ContentStudio pricing file, checked on 26 October 2026). For one person on ten accounts that is $45 against $69 a month. Pay ContentStudio's rate when the posts also have to be written: its evergreen campaigns generate AI variations in your brand voice, it publishes to twelve networks, and a year paid up front saves up to 34%.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

RecurPost was built around the library: a store of posts with a timetable attached, republished across every account connected to it. ContentStudio was built around production: an AI studio that learns the brand, a feed reader, a planner, and automations, recycling among them, that switch on one tier up.

Price the recycling, not the plan:

  1. The cheapest plan that repeats a post. For example, one person recycling across 10 accounts pays RecurPost $25 + 5 x $4 = $45 a month on Personal, and ContentStudio $69 a month on Advanced, because Standard has no recycling, using the RecurPost and ContentStudio price lists. On ContentStudio's annual billing that $69 drops to $49.
  2. The posts you already published. RecurPost's Import from Social pulls existing posts, caption and media, from seven networks into a library. ContentStudio's Evergreen campaign takes posts you add by hand or by CSV, and needs at least two to start (evergreen guide). Start either from last year's posts that drew the most comments.
  3. A label on every recycled post. After a month, compare engagement on recycled posts with new ones. ContentStudio's label analytics start on Advanced; RecurPost's engagement dashboard is on every plan. If recycled posts fall well behind, shorten the library before buying more accounts.

Three differences that settle it

Where recycling sits on the ladder

RecurPost's cheapest plan already recycles, so a freelancer with two accounts can run an evergreen library for $9 a month. ContentStudio's Standard plan at $29 schedules, analyses and writes with AI, but the pricing file marks post recycling, RSS autoposting, CSV bulk scheduling and approvals as Advanced features. If recycling is the reason you are buying, ContentStudio's real entry price is $69, or $49 on a year's billing.

Who writes the second and third version

ContentStudio generates the variations for you: per post or for the whole campaign at once, with a choice of how many, AI images on or off, and your brand content applied, and new variations are appended rather than overwriting the old ones (evergreen guide). RecurPost rotates caption variations you write, and sells extra AI posts at $10 a month for each block of 200 on top of the AI generation every plan includes (RecurPost pricing). A brand with a writer prefers the second; one without, the first.

What else rides along

ContentStudio's Advanced plan adds a social inbox, competitor analytics, and Meta and Google Ads reporting. RecurPost puts its inbox and Instagram DM automation on every plan, though the inbox covers four account types. A team that wants paid and organic results in one report leans to ContentStudio; one that only wants comments answered gets that for $25.

One AI step: variations a person reads before the loop starts

In a ContentStudio Evergreen campaign, Generate All AI Variations writes new versions of every post at once, using your brand content if the toggle is on, per the evergreen guide. Because the loop publishes all variations of the first post before moving to the second, read every variation before switching the campaign on: delete any that changes a price, a claim or a link, and set a cycle gap so the same post does not reappear too soon. Only then flip the status toggle. RecurPost's equivalent runs outside the app: its MCP server lets an assistant file posts into a library with live and expiry dates, which a person then reads in the library calendar before they go out.

Choose ContentStudio if

  • Your job is producing the posts as well as repeating them, with AI that writes in your brand voice.
  • You publish from blog feeds and want RSS, recycling and approvals in one tier.
  • You report on Meta and Google Ads beside organic posts, or publish to Telegram or Tumblr.

Choose RecurPost if

  • Your job is keeping evergreen and seasonal libraries running across many accounts for the lowest monthly cost.
  • One person runs it, or three on Agency.
  • You want a 14-day trial rather than 7, and monthly billing without a quarterly middle step.

Last year's posts first, then the trials

The free step is your own archive: export last year's posts, mark the ones worth repeating, and count them. RecurPost advises at least 20 posts in a recurring library before switching it on (recycling page), so a shorter list means writing more before buying either. Then trial with that list; RecurPost's 14 days fit a full cycle better than ContentStudio's one-time 7. The ContentStudio setup itself is in how to use ContentStudio.

RecurPost bills $4 a month for each account past the plan, and connecting a new account to an existing library schedules that library's posts on it automatically (recycling page). The default fills a new client's feed, and adds to the bill, before anyone has read the library against that client's voice, so attach new accounts to a library only after someone has checked it.

FAQ

Does ContentStudio recycle posts on its Standard plan?

No. Its pricing file lists post recycling, RSS autoposting and CSV bulk scheduling from Advanced, at $69 month to month.

Which trial is longer?

RecurPost's, at 14 days without a card. ContentStudio offers a one-time 7-day trial, also without a card, and neither charges you when it ends unless you have added payment details.

Can RecurPost write posts with AI?

Yes. AI content and image generation and AI-planned weeks are on every plan, and extra blocks of 200 AI posts or 200 AI images cost $10 a month each, per the pricing page.
