Simplified vs RecurPost: An AI Agent or a Repost Library

The short answer: if your posts already exist and the job is keeping them in rotation across 5 to 20 accounts, RecurPost does that for $25 a month on Personal or $79 on Agency, and lets you test it for 14 days without a card, with 30 days to ask for your money back after paying (RecurPost pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). If the posts do not exist and nobody has the hours to make them, Simplified sells an agent, Riley, that writes, designs and schedules from a brief and waits for your approval. Its plan cards showed no prices that day; the plan data embedded in the Simplified pricing page lists Starter at $59 a month on monthly billing and $79 a month billed annually. Choose RecurPost if your job is recycling. Choose Simplified if your job is production.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
These two meet only at the calendar. Simplified is an AI production team with scheduling attached. RecurPost is a scheduler whose centre is the library: posts filed once and sent out again on a timetable, with some AI writing on the side.
Count before you pick:
- Posts a month, in campaigns. For example, five posts a week on three networks is 5 x 4 x 3 = 60 posts a month. Simplified's pricing FAQ counts one campaign as a social batch of 6 posts, so that is 10 campaigns: Starter's 5 plus 5 extra at $10 each, or the Pro plan's 15 (Simplified pricing). On RecurPost, the same 60 slots can come from one recurring library of 20 evergreen posts, which its recycling page names as the minimum (recycling page).
- The archive you already own. RecurPost's Import from Social pulls posts you already published, caption and media, into a library (import page). If last year's archive holds 20 posts worth repeating, you may not need new ones at all.
- A baseline from the networks themselves. Before either tool posts anything, note last month's reach and engagement in each network's own analytics, so the comparison does not rest on a vendor's dashboard.
Who does the work

From the Simplified pricing page, its plans article and refund policy, and the RecurPost pricing page, read on 26 October 2026. Simplified's visible cards and its embedded plan data describe the tiers differently; the screen you check out on is the one that counts.
What separates them
Making posts, or repeating them
Simplified's Riley turns one instruction into copy, design and video from its specialist agents, in your brand kit, and holds all of it for your sign-off (AI marketing agent page). RecurPost assumes the content exists: its libraries republish posts at the times you set until an expiry date, and seasonal libraries switch themselves on and off (recycling page). A brand with a deep archive and a thin team needs the second. A brand launching something new every month needs the first.
What the bill counts
Simplified counts campaigns: a social batch of 6 posts, an email sequence of 3 to 5 emails, or a set of 3 ad variants, and unused campaigns reset each billing period (pricing FAQ). RecurPost counts social accounts and posts per account per day, 10, 20 or 80 by plan (RecurPost pricing). Simplified gets dearer as you make more; RecurPost as you connect more.
The prices, in full
RecurPost, monthly billing: Starter $9 for 2 accounts, Personal $25 for 5, Agency $79 for 20 accounts and 3 users; yearly billing gives two months free, saving $18, $50 and $158 a year respectively; Enterprise is quoted from 100 accounts (RecurPost pricing). Simplified's embedded data gives Starter $59 monthly or $79 a month billed annually, Pro $119 or $99, Business $239 or $199, and its worked example on the same page prices Starter at $79 a month (Simplified pricing). A yearly price above the monthly one is unusual, so screenshot the figure at checkout. Both read on 26 October 2026.
One agent step: from brief to approved campaign
In Simplified, give Riley one sentence naming what you want, for whom, with which offer, and by when: "launch the spring offer on Instagram and LinkedIn this week, driving sign-ups to the feature page". Riley plans the campaign, the social agent drafts the posts, the ad creative agent makes variants, and the finished set comes back marked ready for review (AI marketing agent page). Nothing is scheduled until you approve.
The approval is the job, so give it a checklist. Every price and date matches the offer page; every link opens; no customer, partner or competitor is named without permission; every image is one you may publish. Send back anything that fails, in the same thread, rather than editing the asset by hand, so the next draft learns from it. RecurPost's agent routes, an MCP server and an n8n node, are covered in SocialPilot vs RecurPost and Sendible vs RecurPost.
How a Simplified subscription ends
Simplified's refund policy says that deleting the app, deleting account data or simply not logging in does not cancel a subscription; only the Billing page does, and no subscription, unused credit or add-on is refunded (refund policy). The default end of a tool someone stopped opening is therefore another renewal. Name the person who will cancel, and when, on the day you subscribe.
Free steps first
The free step is your archive. Export last quarter's posts, mark the ones you would run again unchanged, and count them. Twenty or more, start RecurPost's trial with them: it starts without a card and, per its pricing page, charges nothing until you add payment details. Fewer than twenty, the bottleneck is making posts, and Simplified's free plan, which its refund policy describes as covering the basics, lets you try the editors before the $1 trial.
Choose RecurPost if your job is keeping a library of posts that already worked in rotation across many accounts, on a small budget, with a clean exit.
Choose Simplified if your job is producing new campaigns every month without a designer or writer, with a person approving everything the agent makes.
The Simplified entry covers Riley, credits and the trial terms in detail, and how to use Simplified walks a week of posts through approval.
FAQ
What counts as one Simplified campaign?
One brief-to-approval cycle producing one output type: a batch of 6 social posts, an email sequence of 3 to 5 emails, or 3 ad variants for Meta or Google. Extra campaigns cost $10 each on any plan (Simplified pricing).
Does RecurPost charge when the trial ends?
No. Its pricing page says the trial needs no card and that payment begins only when you add payment details and choose a paid plan (RecurPost pricing).
Do unused Simplified campaigns roll over?
No. The pricing FAQ says campaigns refresh at the start of each billing period, and any left over reset at renewal (Simplified pricing).
