The short answer: Dux-Soup now sells as STACKED, "powered by Dux-Soup", and its pricing page offers it two ways: STACKED local, a desktop app on your own Mac or Windows machine, at $55 a seat a month, and STACKED cloud at $99 (monthly billing, checked on 26 October 2026). Against Dripify's cloud seats at $79 on Pro and $99 on Advanced (Dripify pricing), STACKED local is the cheapest of the three seats for one profile, provided a computer stays on during working hours. Choose Dripify if your job is a sequence that mixes LinkedIn steps and emails; choose STACKED if your job is LinkedIn-only outreach on a tight budget, or a team that must never message the same prospect twice. LinkedIn permits neither: its prohibited software page lists bots and browser plug-ins that automate activity on the site among the tools it does not allow, and says members who use them risk restricted or closed accounts.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

STACKED's own knowledge base is candid about where that leaves you: no automation setting can guarantee that a LinkedIn account will not be restricted (default limits article). The rule behind it is section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement, which names bots that add contacts or send messages. What follows is for someone who has weighed this and is going ahead. The free alternative that stays inside the terms, an assistant writing drafts while the profile owner sends each one, is laid out in LinkedIn outreach with AI drafts.

Settle these first:

  1. A year of one profile. For example, at monthly rates STACKED local costs 12 x $55 = $660 a year, Dripify Pro 12 x $79 = $948, and STACKED cloud 12 x $99 = $1,188, the same as Dripify Advanced. Those are the STACKED and Dripify list prices.
  2. The machine and the channels you already have. STACKED local needs your own computer running; the cloud version keeps campaigns going with it switched off (why choose STACKED cloud). STACKED works on LinkedIn only, a choice its about page defends; Dripify sends emails from your own mailbox inside the same sequence (What is Dripify).
  3. Acceptance before volume. STACKED starts every account at 20 connection requests a day and its own article says to watch acceptance before raising that (default limits article). Record your acceptance rate at that default for two weeks; that is the number either tool has to hold.

The differences that decide it

Your computer, or a server

Only STACKED runs at home: the local app installs on Mac or Windows, signs in to your STACKED account and the LinkedIn profile to automate, and works while the machine is on (install guide). For $44 a seat more each month (pricing page), the cloud version runs on Dux-Soup's infrastructure, and with more than five seats it can be billed after use rather than in advance (cloud article). Dripify runs only in its own cloud, from a dedicated IP in your location, with nothing to install (pricing FAQ).

LinkedIn alone, or LinkedIn and email

Dripify's sequences add email steps after LinkedIn ones, with addresses found from its credits, and stop when a lead replies on either channel. STACKED stays on LinkedIn but goes wider there: endorsements and post likes sit beside invitations, messages and InMails, and leads can come from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Recruiter, a CSV or your CRM (drip campaigns page). If your buyers answer email first, that settles it.

What the AI is allowed to do on a reply

STACKED's Claude integration rewrites each template message from the prospect's profile, with an AI Preview to check the result first, and on a reply it reads the conversation and, by itself, continues the campaign or marks the prospect qualified or disqualified (Claude page). That last step is a sales decision taken without a person. Dripify's MCP server is narrower: it reads campaigns and leads and uploads lead lists, nothing on replies.

What a seat costs

Seat, cheapest firstMonthly billingBilled yearly, per month
STACKED local$55$41.25
Dripify Pro$79$59
STACKED cloud$99$74.17
Dripify Advanced$99$79

USD per seat, checked on 26 October 2026 on the STACKED pricing page and the Dripify pricing page. STACKED's yearly billing saves 25%, and its Claude integration adds Anthropic's token charges on your own API key.

An agent reads the funnel, a person writes the message

STACKED's MCP connector, open to STACKED subscribers, gives Claude or ChatGPT 34 tools covering campaigns, prospects, conversations, the robot queue and settings; it can read your data and also create campaigns, enroll prospects and queue messages (MCP guide). Start with one of its suggested read-only prompts: "Who accepted my invite but hasn't responded yet in [campaign]?" The assistant returns the names and drafts a follow-up for each; the profile owner edits and approves every message before it is queued. The article notes that after the first approval the assistant stops asking, so set STACKED's write tools to require approval every time in your AI client.

Free route first, then the trial

Begin outside both tools: two weeks of drafts from an assistant you already use, sent by hand, as in the LinkedIn outreach use case, which gives you the baseline from point 3 at no cost. If you then trial, STACKED gives 14 days (drip campaigns page) and Dripify 7 without a card (pricing page); run the same list on both and compare acceptance at equal daily limits.

On Dripify, read the email credit terms before counting them as value. Each plan's 100 finder credits a month last 30 days and do not roll over, while top-up packs start at $29 for 1,000 (pricing FAQ): unused credits stay with Dripify at the end of the month, and a shortfall is sold to you as a pack.

Choose Dripify if

  • LinkedIn and email belong in one sequence.
  • You want message variants tested against each other.
  • Nobody should have to keep a computer running for outreach.

Choose STACKED if

  • LinkedIn is the only channel and a $55 desktop seat is the budget.
  • Several teammates prospect the same market and must not double up.
  • You want an AI connector that can read and adjust the whole account.

FAQ

Is Dux-Soup still sold?

Under a new name. The company and website are still Dux-Soup's, but what its pricing page sells is STACKED, "powered by Dux-Soup", in local and cloud versions (pricing page).

Does STACKED local stop when my computer sleeps?

Campaigns on the local app run only while your machine does; STACKED's cloud article sells always-on automation without a computer as the reason to pay for cloud.

Does the Claude integration cost extra?

Yes, on Anthropic's side. STACKED's Claude page says your Anthropic API key needs a payment method in the Anthropic Console and that Claude is billed per token, at prices that vary by model.
