Expandi vs Dripify: Two $99 Seats, Different Strengths

The short answer: at $99 a month on monthly billing, Expandi's Business seat and Dripify's Advanced seat cost exactly the same, and both fall to $79 a month billed annually (Expandi pricing, Dripify pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). So the features decide. Choose Expandi if your job is reaching people through LinkedIn's own spaces, with separate campaign types for groups, events, Open InMail and profile viewers. Choose Dripify if your job is finding which message gets replies, with up to 3 variants per step, or if tests can wait and its $79 Pro seat will do. Neither is allowed by LinkedIn: its help page on prohibited software says it does not permit third-party tools that automate activity on its site, and that members who use them risk a restricted or closed account.

Expandi's footer says use is at your own risk, and Dripify's help centre calls the tool compatible with every LinkedIn account type (What is Dripify); compatible is not permitted. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement lists bots that send messages or add contacts among the things members may not do. This comparison is for a team that has decided to go ahead anyway. The route inside the rules, an assistant drafting and a person sending by hand, is in LinkedIn outreach with AI drafts.
Before the seven days start (both trials last a week):
- The year, not the month. For example, one seat at monthly rates costs 12 x $99 = $1,188 a year on either tool; billed annually it is 12 x $79 = $948 on either. Dripify's Pro seat billed annually is 12 x $59 = $708, so going without A/B tests saves $240 a year, at the prices on the Expandi and Dripify pricing pages.
- Where your prospects already gather. If they are in a LinkedIn group you belong to, at an event you host or attend, or among the people who viewed your profile, Expandi has a campaign type for each (campaign types). If they are in a Sales Navigator search or a CSV of profile URLs, both import it, and Dripify also pulls people from post likes and comments and from your followers (What is Dripify).
- A number to judge it by. A week of trial will not produce a reply rate you can trust. Note replies per 100 accepted invitations from this month's manual outreach, and judge the tool against that after a month.

What separates them
Ready campaign types, or one builder that tests
Expandi starts from the shape of the audience. A Group campaign sends message requests to members of a group you share; an Open InMail campaign reaches people with Open Profiles without a connection request and without paid credits; an Inbound campaign works through the people who viewed your profile; a Connector campaign withdraws requests nobody accepts (campaign types).
Dripify starts from the sequence. Its builder strings LinkedIn actions, emails and conditions, can be edited after launch, and on Advanced splits Message, Email and Send Invite steps into variants so replies pick the winner (What is Dripify, homepage). If you already know your audience and doubt your message, that is the tool.
How each paces the profile
Expandi sets daily limits as ranges and picks a number inside them each day, warms new accounts up automatically and lets you rank campaigns so the strongest get the actions first (pricing page). It also sells the other direction: its Mobile Connector campaign adds 50 to 100 connection requests a week and needs two-factor authentication on LinkedIn (campaign types), while section 8.2 of the User Agreement bars circumventing LinkedIn's use limits. Read it as more risk, not more reach.
Dripify runs on its own servers from a dedicated IP in your location, per its pricing FAQ, and Activity Control on Advanced adjusts the daily limits to the account's own activity (pricing page, limits article). Expandi's homepage comparison table says Dripify has no dedicated IP; Dripify's own FAQ says it does. On a rival's features, the rival's page is the source.
The price, three ways
| Billing | Expandi Business | Dripify Pro | Dripify Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $99 | $79 | $99 |
| Annual, per month | $79 | $59 | $79 |
| Ten seats, monthly | Quote above 10 seats | $790 | $990 |
USD per seat, checked on 26 October 2026 on the Expandi pricing page and the Dripify pricing page. Expandi's Agency plan is quoted for more than ten seats and adds white label; Dripify asks teams of ten or more to contact sales.
An agent's draft, a person's launch
Expandi's MCP, in private beta on its homepage, lets Claude or ChatGPT build lead lists, draft campaigns and draft replies inside your account. Its MCP article is specific about the gate: you approve a reply before it is sent and launch a campaign yourself, and the assistant works within your daily limits and warm-up. A prompt from that article, "Create a campaign for this lead list with three follow-up messages", returns a draft. The profile owner reads every message in it, rewrites what does not sound like them, and only then presses launch.
Dripify's MCP server works on Pro and Advanced today with a narrower reach: campaigns, lead lookups and uploads of up to 1,000 profiles.
The free route first
Before either trial, run two weeks the way LinkedIn allows: an assistant drafts, the profile owner sends by hand, and you count replies per 100 accepted, as the LinkedIn outreach use case describes. That is your baseline, and it may be enough.
When you set Dripify up, take the daily number from the right page. Dripify's pricing page leads with a ceiling of 75 connection requests a day, its limits article with 20 to 30 for an established account: the first number sells the seat, the second is the one the profile owner lives with.
Choose Expandi if
- Your audience sits in groups, events or your profile viewers.
- You want Open InMail to Open Profiles without paying for credits.
- You prefer ready campaign types over building flows.
Choose Dripify if
- You want replies, not instinct, to pick the message.
- Email steps belong in the same sequence, with addresses found for you.
- The $79 Pro seat covers what you need.

FAQ
Can I send free InMails with either one?
Expandi's Open InMail campaign messages people with open profiles without a connection request, and its help article calls it free; paid InMails go through a Builder action (campaign types). Dripify's sequences include Sales Navigator InMails (What is Dripify).
Does either charge extra for images or video?
Expandi does: image and GIF personalisation cost extra, and video runs through a paid Sendspark add-on (pricing page). Dripify's pricing page lists extra email finder credits, from $29 for 1,000, and no image or video add-on (pricing page).
Is Expandi's Mobile Connector a way around LinkedIn's limits?
That is how Expandi's pricing page lists it, under campaign types that allow bypassing outreach limits. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement bars bypassing or circumventing use limits, so it adds to the risk a team has already accepted.
