Expandi vs HeyReach: Campaign Types or Sender Rotation

The short answer: for an agency running 25 client profiles, HeyReach's Agency plan covers all 25 senders for $999 a month, while Expandi quotes anything above ten seats; for one founder's profile working groups, events and Open InMail, Expandi's $99 Business seat has campaign types that HeyReach's pages do not list (monthly billing, Expandi pricing and HeyReach pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). Choose Expandi if your job is depth from one or a few profiles; choose HeyReach if your job is breadth, one list through many profiles with one inbox. LinkedIn does not permit either kind: its prohibited software page bars third-party tools that automate activity on its site and says the members who use them risk restricted or closed accounts.

For agencies, the User Agreement adds a second clause in section 8.2: a member may not use, or try to use, another person's account, credential sharing and copied cookies included. When an agency operates a client's profile, the client is the member who carries that risk, so the client should decide, in writing. What follows compares the tools for teams that have made that decision. The way that stays inside LinkedIn's rules, where an assistant drafts and the profile owner sends by hand, is in LinkedIn outreach with AI drafts.
Size it before you trial it:
- The profile count that flips the answer. For example, three profiles cost 3 x $99 = $297 a month on Expandi and 3 x $79 = $237 on HeyReach; nine cost $891 against $711. From ten senders HeyReach Growth drops to $59 each, and at 25 its Agency bundle is $999, per the HeyReach and Expandi pricing pages.
- The profiles and proxies you already have. Expandi gives every account a dedicated country-based IP (pricing page). HeyReach's Growth plan includes a dedicated residential proxy per sender, but its Agency and Unlimited plans expect you to bring your own, per its pricing FAQ. An agency without proxies is pricing Growth, not Agency.
- One log per profile. Acceptance, replies and any restriction notice, profile by profile, every week. In a pooled campaign a single restricted account disappears into the averages unless someone tracks it on its own.

Two differences that decide it
Depth from one profile, or breadth across many
Expandi builds out what one profile can reach: message requests to members of a group you share, Open InMail to open profiles without spending credits, invitations to an event, outreach to the people who viewed your profile (campaign types). Each is a different door into the same account.
HeyReach multiplies accounts instead. Its rotation article tells you to scale by senders rather than by actions per profile, lets one campaign use any number of them, and puts every conversation in one Unibox so one person can answer for all. Limits stay per sender: 25 connection requests a day by default once warmed up, 200 a week at most (limits article).
How an agency is packaged
HeyReach prices the agency case on the page: $999 a month for 25 senders with one white-label brand, done-for-you onboarding and a shared Slack channel, or $2,999 for unlimited senders, and clients join as users at no charge (pricing page). Expandi puts its agency features, white label, roles and permissions, client reports and a dedicated success manager, behind a sales call for more than ten seats (pricing page). A fixed price you can model today, or a quote that Expandi's page says falls per account as the count rises.
What it costs
| Profiles | Expandi, monthly | Expandi, billed annually | HeyReach, monthly | HeyReach, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $99 | $79 | $79 | $64 |
| 3 | $297 | $237 | $237 | $192 |
| 9 | $891 | $711 | $711 | $576 |
| 25 | Quoted | Quoted | $999 on Agency | Growth at $48 each: $1,200 |
USD per month, checked on 26 October 2026 on the Expandi pricing page and the HeyReach pricing page; totals are the per-profile price times the count. HeyReach's Growth price drops to $59 monthly, $48 yearly, from ten senders, and a quarterly option sits between at $72 or $54.
An agent's drafts, a person's send
Expandi's MCP, a private beta you request on its homepage, connects Claude or ChatGPT to your account. One of the prompts in its MCP article is "Draft replies for my unread LinkedIn conversations." The assistant writes each draft inside Expandi; nothing is sent until you approve it, and the assistant works within the account's daily limits and warm-up. The check is the profile owner reading each draft in their own voice before approving, because the reply goes out under their name, not the agency's.
Choose Expandi if
- One or a few profiles should reach groups, events, open profiles and profile viewers.
- You want an AI connector that stops at drafts until a person approves.
- You run fewer than ten seats and want every campaign type on each.
Choose HeyReach if
- One list should go out through many profiles, with one inbox for replies.
- You run an agency and want a fixed price for 25 senders today.
- Email already runs through Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison.
Each tool on its own: the Expandi entry and the HeyReach entry.
The free route, then the approval rule
The free version comes before either trial: hand-sent invitations, assistant-drafted messages and a weekly log per profile, the routine in the LinkedIn outreach use case. Run it for two weeks on two profiles and you have the baseline from point 3, with no account at risk.
If you then connect an AI assistant to either tool, read the MCP pages for what they make easy. HeyReach's MCP page leads with telling Claude who to target and what to say while HeyReach "handles the rest", launching campaigns without touching a setting: the shortest route from a prompt to a running campaign on senders HeyReach bills for. Keep the launch a separate, human step.
If the hard part turns out to be the routine, not the tool, keeping 25 profile owners and several clients approving drafts on time week after week, that is a build of agents and sign-offs that my agentic marketing work covers; this paragraph is the only one on the page where I sell something.
FAQ
Does HeyReach include proxies?
On Growth, yes: each sender gets a dedicated residential proxy. On Agency and Unlimited you bring your own, and HeyReach's pricing FAQ offers a call if you have none.
Can Expandi run one campaign from several profiles?
Expandi sells a seat per LinkedIn account and organises teams in workspaces with roles; its pages read for this comparison describe campaigns per account, not one campaign rotated across profiles (pricing page). Rotation is HeyReach's model.
Which AI connector can launch a campaign by itself?
Expandi's article says the assistant builds campaign drafts and you launch them yourself (MCP article). HeyReach's MCP page describes launching campaigns from the chat, so the approval step depends on the permissions you set in your AI client.
