The short answer: for one founder sending up to 300 LinkedIn invitations a month from their own profile, Waalaxy Pro at $19 a month is the whole bill; for an agency or sales team that wants one list sent through ten or more profiles and answered from one inbox, HeyReach's Growth plan at $59 a sender, $590 a month for ten, is built for that and Waalaxy is not, because each Waalaxy licence is one LinkedIn account with quotas of its own (Waalaxy pricing, HeyReach pricing, monthly billing, checked on 26 October 2026; a browser in Europe saw Waalaxy at €19, €49 and €69). Choose Waalaxy if your job is one profile's outreach at the lowest price. Choose HeyReach if your job is one campaign spread across a team's or clients' profiles.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

LinkedIn permits neither tool. Its prohibited software page excludes third-party software that automates activity on the site and says the members who use it risk a restricted or closed account; section 3.4 of the User Agreement reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate an account that breaks the contract, and the invitation limit page adds that support cannot tell you the type or reason of a restriction. With HeyReach the profiles in the pool often belong to colleagues or clients, so each owner should decide for their own profile, in writing. Every profile either tool imports is personal data too, which brings the GDPR duties summarised in Apollo.io vs ZoomInfo. The free route that stays inside the rules, an assistant drafting and the owner sending by hand, is in LinkedIn outreach with AI drafts.

Settle three things first:

  1. The bill at your profile count. For example, ten profiles cost 10 x $39 = $390 a month on Waalaxy Advanced and 10 x $59 = $590 on HeyReach Growth; three cost 3 x $39 = $117 against 3 x $79 = $237. Waalaxy is cheaper per profile at every count read on the Waalaxy and HeyReach pages. What HeyReach charges for is the pool.
  2. The email tool you already have. Waalaxy's Business plan sends cold email itself, at $69 a user on its pricing page. HeyReach sends none and connects to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison, per its homepage. If one of those already runs your email, HeyReach slots in beside it.
  3. Hours spent in inboxes. Count how long someone spends each week logging in and out of profiles to answer replies. That number, before and after, says whether a shared inbox earned its keep.

A licence per profile, or a pool

Waalaxy is built around one person. Each licence is one LinkedIn account, and even on a Team plan the quotas belong to each user, so one colleague's actions never use up another's, per the quotas article. Three reps get three separate outreach machines, each with its own campaigns.

HeyReach is built around the campaign. You tick the connected accounts that should send, any number of them, and HeyReach divides the campaign's leads among them, per its rotation article. For an agency running one client's list through that client's five sales profiles, that is the whole point of the tool.

Pace, and whose ceiling stops first

Waalaxy sets the pace by plan, per its quotas article: up to 11 invitations a day on Pro, around 300 a month, and up to 100 a day and 200 a week on Advanced and Business. The same article adds a detail worth knowing: Waalaxy's daily quota runs independently of the weekly ceiling LinkedIn applies to each account, so you can hit LinkedIn's first and see actions stop while Waalaxy still shows quota left.

HeyReach defaults each sender to 25 invitations a day once warmed up, allows 40, and caps every sender at 200 a week, noting that LinkedIn does not publish its own weekly number (limits article). Neither ceiling is LinkedIn's permission; both are the vendor's estimate of where LinkedIn pushes back.

Replies: included, or an add-on

HeyReach puts every sender's conversations in one Unibox on Growth, so one person can answer for the whole pool. Waalaxy sells its LinkedIn Inbox as a paid add-on on every plan, with 500 free conversations and no time limit before it charges, per the pricing page. For one founder, LinkedIn's own inbox does the job; for ten profiles, the shared inbox is half of what HeyReach sells.

One agent step: segment before anyone sends

HeyReach's MCP page suggests asking Claude to segment leads by company size and message only the accounts above 200 employees. Run the segmenting part and stop there: the assistant splits the list and returns the segment, a person reads it against the CRM, removing customers, open deals and anyone who asked not to be contacted, and only then is the campaign launched, by that person, in the app. The same page offers to launch campaigns without touching a setting, which skips exactly that read.

Waalaxy's connector can import prospects into a list or a campaign on Advanced and Business (MCP article); the same check applies before any import.

Free first, then the paid inbox

The free version is a fortnight of hand-sent invitations with assistant-drafted follow-ups, from the LinkedIn outreach use case, timed as in point 3. For one founder that can be enough on its own. Both vendors then offer a trial: HeyReach's 14 days cover three LinkedIn accounts without a card, and Waalaxy's 14 days run on the features of a paid plan.

Waalaxy's inbox is worth a second look before you scale on it. It gives its LinkedIn Inbox 500 free conversations and then sells it as a paid add-on, so the replies a campaign earns are what move the account into its next charge.

Choose Waalaxy if

  • One person prospects from their own profile, up to 300 invitations a month on the $19 plan.
  • Each rep should own their own list and campaigns.
  • Email should run inside the same tool, on Business.

Choose HeyReach if

  • One list should go out through several profiles and be answered from one inbox.
  • Your email already runs in Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison.
  • You run an agency and want 25 client profiles under your own brand at a fixed price.

The entries: Waalaxy and HeyReach, with how to use HeyReach for a three-profile campaign and Waalaxy vs Dripify for Waalaxy against a sequence builder.

When the real question behind one profile or ten is who owns pipeline across a founder and four reps, it is a team decision before it is a tool decision. An interim CMO engagement, which I sell, is one way to settle it; this is the only paragraph here that sells anything.

FAQ

Can Waalaxy run one campaign from several profiles?

No. A licence corresponds to one LinkedIn account (subscriptions article), and team members keep separate quotas and campaigns.

Does HeyReach work with a free LinkedIn account?

Its limits article applies the same invitation limits to free and paid accounts and says a free account can add a personal note to 10 requests a month. LinkedIn's own help pages give a lower figure: five on Invitation limit reached and three on Personalize invitations to connect.

Which of the two includes a shared inbox?

HeyReach, on every plan, as the Unibox. Waalaxy's LinkedIn Inbox is an add-on after 500 free conversations (pricing page).
