The short answer: you are not misreading ZeroBounce: the ONE card on its homepage lists 10,000 Email Finder or Domain Searches a month for $99, while its pricing FAQ charges 20 credits for each successful Email Finder query, which would make a month's 10,000 credits worth 500 finds. Get the answer in writing before you plan prospecting on it. The two tools start from opposite lists. If your job is finding new B2B addresses for cold outreach, Findymail's credit-based Starter plan gives 5,000 finds and 5,000 checks for $99 a month and guarantees bounces under 5%, per its pricing page. If your job is cleaning an opt-in list you built yourself and keeping its sending domain healthy, ZeroBounce ONE at $99 a month for 10,000 credits adds warm-up, placement tests and DMARC monitoring. All pages were checked on 26 October 2026.

Price the job you have:
- Finding 500 new addresses. For example, Findymail charges 500 Finder credits, a tenth of Starter's 5,000 at $99. At ZeroBounce's 20 credits per success, the same 500 use 500 x 20 = 10,000 credits: a full month of ONE at $99, or a $129 one-off pack, per the ZeroBounce pricing page.
- Cleaning the list you already own. A 10,000-contact newsletter list costs 10,000 ZeroBounce credits, the ONE minimum, and unknown results and duplicates are not charged. Findymail's Starter carries 5,000 Verifier credits, which cover half of it, and its credits article charges one per attempt whatever the result.
- Keep the bounce codes. Export the SMTP bounce codes from the first send. ZeroBounce's guarantee requires them, and they are the only way to tell a bad address from a spam filter.
Findymail is a B2B finder that verifies each address the moment it pulls it, with a separate verifier and a push into the sequencer. ZeroBounce began as a validation service and now sells a deliverability bundle around it: AI scoring, activity data, warm-up seeds, inbox placement tests and blacklist and DMARC monitors.

The three differences
Whose list each guarantee is written for
This is the line that decides the pair. ZeroBounce's guarantee refunds 5% of the validation cost for each point of accuracy below its threshold, provided you mail only the valid file within 72 hours, to an opt-in list of at least 1,000 addresses that you collected and did not buy. Findymail's under-5% promise applies to the addresses Findymail itself found for outbound. Cold prospecting data sits outside ZeroBounce's promise and inside Findymail's.
Finding against cleaning, in credits
Findymail prices a find at 1 credit and a check at 1 Verifier credit. ZeroBounce prices a check at 1 credit and a find at 20, per its pricing FAQ. Each is cheap at its own main job and dear at the other's. A team that both builds cold lists and mails a newsletter has two jobs, and on these numbers two tools.
What surrounds the check
ZeroBounce ONE wraps validation in deliverability tools: warm-up, placement tests, server tests, blacklist monitors and a DMARC domain, per its homepage. Findymail wraps the find in a handoff: one click into the sequencer, and Datacare, its CRM clean-up service, from $500 a month billed annually, per its pricing page. Pick the wrapper you would use without being told to.
One agent step: Findymail first, ZeroBounce for the misses
Findymail's server adds to Claude as a remote connector at https://mcp.findymail.com/mcp, and its MCP article says credits are spent only on actions such as finding or verifying. ZeroBounce's MCP server installs from npm with your API key and exposes its Email Finder and a credit check. Give the assistant 20 named prospects and ask Findymail for their addresses, then a table of found and not found. A person decides which of the misses are worth a second try at 20 ZeroBounce credits each, and only then does the assistant run them. The final list goes to the sequencer after the same person reads it.
What it costs
In USD, checked on 26 October 2026 on the Findymail and ZeroBounce pricing pages.
Findymail, on its pricing page: Starter, the credit plan, at $99 a month for 5,000 Finder and 5,000 Verifier credits; seat plans at $99 for one seat, $399 for five and $999 for twenty, with usage described as generous and no figure; 10 free credits to start.
ZeroBounce, on its pricing page: pay-as-you-go packs from $39 for 2,000 credits, $129 for 10,000 and $274 for 25,000; ONE from $99 a month for 10,000 credits plus the deliverability tools, with 20% off on annual billing; Freemium at $0 with 100 validations a month.
ZeroBounce keeps ONE credits from expiring only while the subscription runs, and points everyone else to expiry rules that depend on when the credits were bought, per its pricing FAQ, so the balance a team builds up becomes a reason to keep the monthly plan going.
Free first
On a business domain, ZeroBounce gives 100 validations and 10 Email Finder queries a month, and Findymail gives 10 credits once with no card, per the ZeroBounce and Findymail pricing pages. Validate 100 addresses from your own newsletter list on ZeroBounce, and find 10 new prospects on Findymail. Two separate tests for two separate jobs, and both cost nothing.
Choose Findymail if
- Your job is finding new B2B contacts for a sequencer you already pay for.
- You want the bounce promise to cover cold outbound data.
- You call buyers outside the EU, since its mobiles stop at the EU border.
Choose ZeroBounce if
- Your job is cleaning an opt-in marketing list before a send, and checking inbox placement after it.
- You want warm-up, placement tests and DMARC monitoring in the same subscription.
- You verify far more addresses than you find.
Each on its own: the Findymail entry and the ZeroBounce entry. For ZeroBounce against other verifiers, see ZeroBounce vs NeverBounce.
FAQ
Does ZeroBounce charge for unknown results?
No. Unknown results and removed duplicates cost nothing, and an Email Finder query that ends unknown uses zero credits, per the pricing FAQ.
Does Findymail charge for a Risky verification?
Yes. A Verifier credit goes on every attempt, Risky results included, per its credits article.
Can I use ZeroBounce's guarantee on a bought list?
No. It requires an opt-in list you collected yourself, not one purchased from a third party, per the ZB Guarantee.
