The short answer: for a sales team of three already on HubSpot, lemlist's Multichannel plan at $109 per user a month includes the CRM integration, while La Growth Machine's native HubSpot sync starts on its Ultimate plan at €180 per identity; for one founder who wants LinkedIn with an email fallback and no native CRM sync, La Growth Machine Basic at €60 per identity is the lower bill, in a different currency (lemlist pricing, La Growth Machine pricing, monthly billing, checked on 26 October 2026). Choose La Growth Machine if your job is a few profiles running LinkedIn-first sequences while the rest of the team only answers replies. Choose lemlist if your job is a team that sends by email at volume, with LinkedIn, calls and SMS added for the reps who need them.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

Both vendors promise your LinkedIn account will be fine. lemlist's LinkedIn page says you can automate without risking your account, thanks to smart limits and human-like delays; La Growth Machine calls itself the safest LinkedIn automation platform on its pricing page. The page that decides is LinkedIn's. Its prohibited software page does not permit third-party tools that automate activity on the site, warns that accounts using them can be restricted or shut down and that such tools may stop working without notice, and section 8.2 of the User Agreement names the bots that send messages or add contacts. No vendor can promise safety on LinkedIn's behalf. The free way to keep the LinkedIn channel inside the rules is a person sending what an assistant drafted, as in LinkedIn outreach with AI drafts; the email half of either tool is unaffected by this. Both also import LinkedIn profiles and attach addresses to them; the GDPR side of that is in Apollo.io vs ZoomInfo.

Three checks before a demo:

  1. Seats times the rate, with the CRM in the price. For example, three people with HubSpot pay 3 x $109 = $327 a month on lemlist Multichannel and 3 x €180 = €540 on La Growth Machine Ultimate, the first tier with native HubSpot sync; without that sync, La Growth Machine Pro is 3 x €120 = €360 (lemlist pricing, La Growth Machine pricing).
  2. Who sends and who only answers. La Growth Machine bills identities, the profiles that run campaigns, and says on its pricing page that you need no identity to answer replies, with 3, 25 or unlimited team members included by plan. lemlist bills each Multichannel user, while its Email plan has unlimited users. Count senders and answerers separately before comparing.
  3. Replies by channel, per sending profile. Log for four weeks how many replies each sending profile gets on LinkedIn and by email. If email carries most of them, a per-user LinkedIn seat is paying for the smaller channel, and lemlist's $69 email plan covers most of the job.

An identity is not a user

The seat unit decides more of the bill than any feature. In La Growth Machine an identity is a profile that engages leads automatically, on LinkedIn, email and X; a teammate who only reads and answers the inbox needs none, per the pricing FAQ. A team of five where two founders' profiles do the prospecting pays for two.

In lemlist every Multichannel user is a seat, with five senders each, while the Email plan prices by monthly email volume and lets any number of people in. So the cheap lemlist build for an email-heavy team is the $69 plan for everyone, with Multichannel seats only for the reps who need LinkedIn and calls.

Channels at the edges

Both run LinkedIn, email and calls. La Growth Machine adds X on Ultimate, intent lists built from post likers, commenters and event attendees on Pro, and a rotating inbox that spreads email over 5 or 10 addresses per identity. lemlist adds SMS, a WhatsApp add-on, LinkedIn voice messages and InMail, plus a 650M+ lead database and enrichment credits sold as data add-ons (pricing page). If SMS reaches your buyers, that settles it; if X does, the reverse.

For LinkedIn pace, lemlist's limits guide plans on about 20 invitations a working day and 100 actions a day in all, and La Growth Machine's pricing page speaks of smart sending limits without a number. Neither figure is LinkedIn's.

Prices on 26 October 2026

La Growth Machine prices in euros per identity: Basic €60 a month on monthly billing or €50 on annual, Pro €120 or €100, Ultimate €180 or €150, with quarterly and semi-annual steps in between, on its pricing page. Basic caps a team at three identities.

lemlist shows dollars: the Email plan $69 a month for 50,000 emails or $55 billed yearly, Multichannel $109 per user or $87 yearly, Enterprise quoted (pricing page). Its plan table lists local-currency billing in dollars, euros or pounds, so ask for the euro figure before you sign if your books are in euros; the page read here did not show one.

One agent step: the Monday campaign review

La Growth Machine's MCP server, free on every plan, gives an assistant 24 tools that read and 26 that act, and by default it asks before acting, per its MCP article. Its suggested reporting prompt asks which campaigns are working and what to do next. Run it each Monday: the assistant reads the stats and proposes changes, and a person approves each action as it is asked for. Leave the option to always allow a tool switched off.

lemlist's MCP tools reference supports the same review from the other side: campaign stats and a validation check are read-only, while starting, pausing or editing a campaign waits for your confirmation.

Free first

The free route comes before either trial: hand-sent LinkedIn invitations, assistant-drafted follow-ups and email from the inbox you already have, logged per channel for two weeks, as the LinkedIn outreach use case describes. Then both trials last 14 days: La Growth Machine's without a card on one identity, lemlist's on the Multichannel features with 200 credits.

Look at which price La Growth Machine shows first. Its pricing page opened on annual billing, two months free, so Basic first reads €50 an identity; the month-to-month figure, €60, appears only after you switch, and the first figure you see assumes a year paid up front.

Choose La Growth Machine if

  • A few profiles prospect while the rest of the team only answers, so identities stay few.
  • LinkedIn comes first and email is the fallback for people who do not accept.
  • X belongs in the sequence, or an AI connector should cost nothing extra.

Choose lemlist if

  • Most of the team sends email, and one $69 plan with unlimited users covers them.
  • Salesforce is your CRM, or HubSpot sync should not need the top tier.
  • SMS, WhatsApp or a built-in lead database matter to the sequence.

The entries: La Growth Machine and lemlist. Instantly vs lemlist covers lemlist's email plan against a volume sender.
