The short answer: consider AgencyAnalytics if you want each client in a branded portal you can buy today without a sales call: 16 clients cost 16 x $20 = $320 a month billed annually, or $25 a client on monthly billing (AgencyAnalytics pricing). Consider Whatagraph if the hard part is the data itself, blending channels, converting currencies and keeping one set of metric rules across dozens of accounts, and a yearly commitment from €699 a month, $812 in the dollar view, for 50 source credits fits the budget (Whatagraph pricing). Both were checked on 26 October 2026. Few buyers search this pair, so this page sorts readers rather than naming a winner.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
AgencyAnalytics prices the relationship: one figure per client, with integrations, reports, staff and client logins unlimited inside it. Whatagraph prices the plumbing: credits, one per connected account, on top of a data hub with transformations, blends and agents that build and repair reports.
Signs you belong on one or the other:
- Your cost per client on each. For example, 16 clients with three accounts each use 16 x 3 = 48 of the 50 credits Whatagraph's Max plan starts with, so $812 / 16 = $50.75 per client a month on annual terms, against $20 on AgencyAnalytics' annual plan (Whatagraph pricing, AgencyAnalytics pricing). Each source costs one credit on every plan, and extra credits can be bought until the next plan threshold.
- The reporting estate you already run. A team that keeps its client dashboards in Looker Studio, or loads data into BigQuery, should read Whatagraph's plan table closely: transfer to Looker Studio comes with Prime, and BigQuery transfer is a Prime add-on, while Max includes neither (Whatagraph pricing). A team whose clients already expect a login gets that on every AgencyAnalytics client.
- The number you will test in the trial. Build one cross-channel total in each tool and compare it with the platforms' own totals. Whatagraph documents how a blend inflates a metric when one source has more dimensions than the other, such as Google Ads by device joined to GA4 by campaign and date (inflated blends article).
Who should look at which
| If this describes you | Look at | Why, from the vendor |
|---|---|---|
| A few platforms per client, clients who want a login | AgencyAnalytics | Branded client portal, unlimited client users, custom domain (pricing) |
| Many accounts per client, priced without counting them | AgencyAnalytics | Unlimited data sources per client (pricing) |
| Clients in several currencies, or metrics defined once for everyone | Whatagraph | Currency exchange, custom transformations and aggregations on both plans (pricing) |
| A contract that keeps data in the EU | Whatagraph | EU data centre listed on Max and Prime (pricing) |
| Agents that build, watch and repair reports | Whatagraph | IQ Agents, with a confirmation before any report change (IQ Agents article) |
| Month-to-month billing or a refund window | AgencyAnalytics | Monthly plans, 30-day money-back guarantee (pricing) |
| A buying process without a sales call | AgencyAnalytics | Self-serve checkout; Whatagraph's plans start with a demo (Whatagraph pricing) |
How the two are built differently
Rules for the data, or a home for the client
Whatagraph puts a governed layer under every report: sources land in a data hub with pre-made and custom transformations, currency exchange, source groups and blends, and Whatagraph Storage (pricing). AgencyAnalytics puts its weight on the client's side of the glass: per-client dashboards and reports, roll-up reports across clients, custom metrics, goals and alerts, all inside a portal carrying your branding (pricing). One is a model of the data. The other is a model of the agency.
Buying, and leaving
AgencyAnalytics sells from its pricing page: a 14-day trial with no card, monthly or annual billing, a 30-day money-back guarantee on a first purchase, and billing in six currencies including EUR and GBP (pricing). Whatagraph starts every new account on a 14-day Max trial, then a call with its team to pick a plan; payments are taken in advance and not refunded (upgrade article). Leaving runs through a success manager, can need phone validation and must be requested at least 30 days before the renewal date, or the subscription renews for another term (cancellation article).
What the AI is allowed to do
Whatagraph's IQ Agents are given tasks in plain language and carry them out: building reports, bulk edits across many reports, fixing broken sources, checks on a schedule. Admins and managers can use them, editors cannot (IQ Agents article). AgencyAnalytics keeps its AI closer to the report: an AI Summary widget, Ask AI and an MCP connector that answers questions about one client at a time (MCP article). How each one gates a written client summary is laid out in the client report summaries use case.
A new client, onboarded by an agent
Onboarding is the job where both vendors document an AI step with a person in it, at different points.
- Whatagraph. Its homepage describes onboarding a new client from one prompt, connecting the sources, applying tags and building the report, then checking the finished report before the client sees it (homepage). Before an agent changes a report, widget, source group or blend, it shows an impact warning and waits for confirmation (IQ Agents article). The account manager reads that warning and the first report, then approves.
- AgencyAnalytics. From Claude or ChatGPT, the MCP connector can add a client; if the plan is full, it shows the extra cost first and only a billing admin can approve it (MCP article). The gate sits on the money rather than on the report.
Prices side by side
| Whatagraph | AgencyAnalytics | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Max from €699 a month, $812 in dollars, billed annually | $20 per client a month billed annually, $25 billed monthly |
| What it includes | 50 credits to start, one per connected account; unlimited users and reports | Unlimited data sources, reports, dashboards and users per client |
| Next step up | Prime, priced on request, with premium integrations and Looker Studio transfer | Volume pricing for 25+ clients, through sales |
| Paid extras | Custom report domain, BigQuery transfer, public API and SAML login as Prime add-ons | Rank Tracker at $41.67 a month per 500 keywords, AI Tracker at $20.83 per 250 credits, billed annually |
Read on 26 October 2026 from the Whatagraph and AgencyAnalytics pricing pages. For example, 30 clients on AgencyAnalytics cost 30 x $20 = $600 a month billed annually, still below Max's $812, and Max's 50 credits would hold those 30 clients only if most of them had a single connected account.
The free route through both
Run the trials in sequence rather than together, so each gets a full fortnight of real reporting. On Whatagraph, use the 14-day Max trial to build one blended report and check it against the platforms (upgrade article); the Whatagraph how-to walks through the blend. On AgencyAnalytics, build one client's monthly report from the AgencyAnalytics how-to and send it to yourself. Leave the add-ons alone during that test. AgencyAnalytics offers Rank Tracker and AI Tracker as 14-day free trials that bill automatically when the trial ends unless cancelled (billing article), so an add-on switched on to see what it does is, by default, on the next invoice.
Choose Whatagraph if
- Your job is keeping one set of data rules, blends and currencies behind every client report.
- Your client contracts ask for data held in the EU.
- You want agents to build, edit and watch reports across the roster, and you will review what they change.
Choose AgencyAnalytics if
- Your job is a branded home where each client logs in and finds their reports.
- You want to start this week, pay monthly and keep a refund window.
- Clients run many ad and analytics accounts that you would rather not count.

FAQ
Does Whatagraph publish a monthly price?
No. Its pricing page lists Max and Prime as billed annually, and plan changes go through its team (Whatagraph pricing).
Do Whatagraph blends use credits?
No. Blends and data transfers show separately in plan usage and do not add to the connected sources count (source counting article).
Can AgencyAnalytics report across all clients at once?
In the app, yes, through roll-up reports and dashboards (pricing). Through the MCP connector, not yet: each query covers one client (MCP article).
