The short answer: three founders who want a CRM they can shape without paying should start on Attio's Free plan, $0 for up to 3 seats on its pricing page. Lightfield's Starter costs $89 per user a month for those same three, per its pricing page, and earns that only if you want every meeting recorded and the records updated from it from the first day. At five sellers who want automations, Attio Pro is 5 x $79 = $395 a month billed annually, against Lightfield Pro at $999 a month per workspace, which adds unlimited viewer seats and a dedicated success manager. Lightfield sells something other than a seat. Above its Starter plan you pay per workspace, which includes a set number of capture seats, the people whose email and meetings sync, and unlimited viewer seats for everyone who only reads and asks questions. Its pricing page pitches one bill for a CRM, a call recorder, a sequencer and enrichment. Attio, by contrast, sells a seat per person and a pool of credits per workspace, and leaves the shape of the data model to you.
Price the team you have, not the demo:
- Run the sum at eight sellers. For example, Attio Plus, which allows up to 10 seats, is 8 x $35 = $280 a month billed annually, and Pro is 8 x $79 = $632. Lightfield Growth is $1,999 a month for 10 capture seats, or Pro at $999 plus three extra capture seats at $200 each is $999 + 3 x $200 = $1,599. Inputs from the Attio and Lightfield pricing pages.
- Start from the CRM you already run. Attio's pricing page lists imports from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Excel and CSV. Lightfield offers a migration agent that moves records and relationships, a one-way HubSpot sync from Pro, and a two-way CRM sync on Enterprise. If you cannot switch in one weekend, that difference matters.
- Measure the admin you want to remove. Ask each seller how long they spent updating the CRM last week. Ask again in week two of the trial.

What separates them
Who counts as a seat
On Attio, every member is a seat at the plan's price, and Plus stops at 10. On Lightfield Pro and above, only capture seats are counted: five on Pro, ten on Growth, $200 a month each beyond that, billed annually. Everyone else gets a viewer seat that can read the records they have permission to see and query them in chat. A company where a few people sell and many people want answers gets more from Lightfield's model. A team where everyone sells pays less on Attio.
Where the agent's work waits
Lightfield routes drafts to a queue. Its For review guide shows each draft with the reason it was produced, the record it concerns and a link to the run that created it; a person edits it, then approves or dismisses. Attio's agent blocks, a Web agent that researches a record and a Custom agent that runs your instructions on an OpenAI, Google or Anthropic model, return text to the workflow, and the run viewer shows what the agent did afterwards. Attio lets you build the review step. Lightfield ships it.
How credits are counted
Attio grants workspace credits monthly: 250 on Free, 1,500 on Plus, 10,000 on Pro, with 5,000 more for $85 a month on monthly billing. Lightfield grants them yearly: 450,000 on Pro and 900,000 on Growth, per its pricing explainer, billed at a pre-agreed rate past the allowance unless you set a hard cap. The units are not the same, so compare what one workflow run costs in each during the trial, not the headline totals.
Prices, checked on 26 October 2026
Attio, per seat a month on its pricing page: Free $0; Plus $44 billed monthly or $35 billed annually; Pro $99 or $79; Enterprise quoted, billed annually.
Lightfield on its pricing page: Starter $89 per user a month billed monthly, up to 3 seats; Pro $999 a month per workspace billed annually, with 5 capture seats; Growth $1,999 a month per workspace billed annually, with 10; Enterprise custom. A year of Pro is 12 x $999 = $11,988.
A follow-up email the agent writes and a person sends
On Lightfield Pro, build an automation that drafts a follow-up after each customer meeting from the recording and the thread. The draft does not go out. It lands in For review, labelled as an email draft, with the reason and the opportunity it concerns. The account owner reads it, fixes the promise the agent got slightly wrong, and approves. The guide is plain about the stakes: approving an automation email sends it, and it cannot be unsent, while dismissing a sequence draft pauses that contact's enrollment. On Attio, the same job is a workflow with a Custom agent block whose output is saved to a text attribute for the owner to copy into an email, which keeps the person in the loop by design, at the cost of one more click.
Free first
Attio's Free plan is enough to model your pipeline for three people, with no end date listed, and new workspaces get 14 days of Pro to test sequences and call intelligence. Lightfield's trial runs 14 days. Run both on the same week of meetings and email, and compare the records each one built without help.
Lightfield's pricing FAQ says workspace credits are annual and unused credits do not carry over at year end, so an allowance sized generously at signature is revenue the vendor keeps whether your agents run or not. Ask for the usage view during the trial, and set the hard cap the same FAQ offers before the first automation goes live.

FAQ
Does Lightfield have a free plan?
No. Its pricing page offers a 14-day trial, and the cheapest plan is Starter at $89 per user a month, billed monthly, for up to 3 seats.
What is a viewer seat?
A Lightfield seat that can open every record its holder has permission to see and use chat to query and analyse them, without syncing email or meetings. Its pricing page gives viewer seats to all workspace members on Pro, Growth and Enterprise.
Can Claude work in both?
Yes. Attio MCP is available on all plans and lets assistants search, create and update records within your permissions, per its MCP article. Lightfield's Claude guide connects Claude through the Lightfield MCP server on every plan, with the same access as your user.
