The short answer: you are not imagining the admin problem. In a B2B sales team of two to five people, typing contacts and meeting notes into a CRM is the job that slips first, and Salesflare is built to fill records from your inbox, calendar and email signatures instead, from $29 per user a month billed annually on its pricing page. HubSpot fits when marketing forms, campaigns and support will share the same record; it starts with free tools for up to 2 users and Sales Hub Starter at $7 per seat a month billed annually, on its Sales Hub pricing page. Both checked on 26 October 2026.

Salesflare changes who does the data entry. Its homepage describes contacts created from email signatures, meetings pulled from the calendar and every email logged on the timeline. HubSpot gives you a broader platform, but the records are still yours to keep current. For a small team that sells by email and meetings, that single difference outweighs most feature lists.
Three checks for a small team:
- Three users, one year. For example: Salesflare Growth is 3 x $29 x 12 = $1,044 and Pro is 3 x $49 x 12 = $1,764 on annual billing. HubSpot Sales Hub Starter is 3 x $7 x 12 = $252, and Professional is 3 x $90 x 12 = $3,240 plus a $1,500 onboarding, so $4,740. From the Salesflare and HubSpot pricing pages.
- Let your inbox do the test. Connect one rep's mailbox and calendar during Salesflare's 30-day trial and see how much of the current pipeline it rebuilds without typing. Against that, HubSpot's free CRM costs nothing to keep, so the question is whether your team will maintain it by hand.
- Count the meetings that land. Before the switch, count last week's customer meetings and how many sit on the right account in your current system. Repeat after a month. That share is the whole case for an automated CRM.

Where they part ways
Who keeps the record current
Salesflare's features list automated address book updates through contact sync, an email timeline that fills itself, automatic file pulls, calendar sync and company data enrichment. A rep who never opens the CRM still leaves a trail in it. HubSpot's free and Starter tools give you the record, the inbox connection and the meeting links, and the discipline of logging stays with the team. If your last CRM died of empty fields, start here.
How far the marketing reaches
Salesflare sends personalised email campaigns from Growth, and multi-email workflows from Pro. That covers follow-up and nurture to a B2B list you already know. HubSpot's free tools include marketing, service and content tools on the same record, and its Marketing Hub goes on to ads, omni-channel automation and up to 10,000 marketing contacts on Enterprise. Choose by whether you will run campaigns to strangers or follow up with people already in conversation.
What the seat buys in AI
Salesflare includes lead credits, 5 on Growth and 100 on Pro. HubSpot includes HubSpot Credits that power its agents, 500 on Starter and 3,000 on Professional, with packs or pay-as-you-go on top, per the Sales Hub page. They are different currencies for different jobs, so compare them only against the work you would hand over.
The prices, checked on 26 October 2026
Salesflare, per user a month, from its pricing page: Growth $29, Pro $49 and Enterprise $99 billed annually, or $39, $64 and $124 billed monthly, with Enterprise requiring at least 5 users and including setup, migration and a dedicated account manager.
HubSpot Sales Hub, per seat a month on annual billing, from its pricing page: free for up to 2 users, Starter $7 beside a struck-through $20, Professional $90 plus $1,500 one-time onboarding, Enterprise $150 plus $3,500.
An agent step: find the accounts that went quiet
Salesflare's MCP guide connects it to ChatGPT or Claude from their app directories, or as a custom connector at mcp.salesflare.com/mcp. Ask: "find accounts in Salesflare with no recent follow-up", then "create a follow-up task for each of the first five next Tuesday". The guide sets the human check itself: start with read-only questions, and review what the assistant proposes before anything is created or changed. In practice a rep reads the list, drops the accounts that are closed for a reason, and only then lets the tasks be written.
Before the trial ends
A trial that syncs your mailbox is also the moment a CRM becomes hard to leave: by day 30 your history lives in it. Salesflare lists data export among its features, so export your accounts and opportunities before the trial ends if you decide against it. On HubSpot the free tools stay free, which makes them the natural first test for any team unsure it will use a CRM at all.
Choose Salesflare if
- Your job is following up B2B conversations that happen in email, meetings and LinkedIn, with a team of two to five.
- Nobody on the team will type data in, and you would rather the CRM fill itself.
- Email campaigns to people already in conversation are enough marketing for now.
Choose HubSpot if
- Your job is running campaigns to new audiences and handing the replies to sales and service on one record.
- You want to start on free tools and add hubs as departments appear.
- You need sequences, forecasting and coaching at Professional level later.

FAQ
Does Salesflare have a free plan?
None is listed. Its pricing page offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card, read on 26 October 2026, and a free demo or training for teams that ask.
Can a team of three buy Salesflare Enterprise?
Not at the listed price: the pricing page sets a minimum of 5 users on Enterprise. A team of three chooses between Growth and Pro, where Pro adds multi-email workflows, user permissions and custom dashboards.
Will HubSpot's free tools do for a two-person sales team?
For a shared record of contacts and deals, yes: the free tier covers up to 2 users with no credit card, and the free CRM page says it does not expire. Sequences and fuller automation sit in paid tiers.
