Keywords Everywhere vs Ubersuggest: Credits or a Project Tool

The short answer: if you are sizing demand rather than running SEO for a site, you need volumes, not projects, and Keywords Everywhere's Bronze plan gives you those for $84 a year (pricing). If you are looking after one site and want research, a site audit and tracked keywords in one login, Ubersuggest Individual costs $29 a month and includes a project with 125 tracked keywords and 1,000 page scans (Ubersuggest pricing).

Both put keyword data in your browser, and both have a free tier. Past that, they are built differently. Keywords Everywhere is a data layer you pay for by the keyword. Ubersuggest is a small all-in-one SEO tool with projects, a site audit and AI visibility tracking, sold monthly, yearly or for life.
Red flags before you buy:
- A countdown next to a plan you cannot refund. For example, Ubersuggest Individual costs $192 a year or $290 for lifetime access: $290 minus $192 = $98, so lifetime pays off during the second year, if you still use it then. Its pricing FAQ says lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable (pricing page).
- Two extensions doing one job. If Keywords Everywhere is already installed, Ubersuggest's Chrome extension shows overlapping data: keyword volumes on Google, YouTube and Amazon, plus traffic and backlinks on any site, per its extension page. Paying for both means paying twice for much of the same view.
- No way to measure the plan you bought. Decide in advance what you will look at after a month: the credits used on Keywords Everywhere's Stats page, or the tracked keywords and audit issues inside one Ubersuggest project.

Free first
Both have a free tier. Ubersuggest's free account adds keyword suggestions, weekly rank tracking and personalised SEO suggestions, per its pricing page. Keywords Everywhere's free features, including traffic estimates, Moz link metrics and the keyword widgets, need no API key, per its homepage. Use the free Ubersuggest account to track your own site for a fortnight while the free extension handles research. Then pay for whichever limit you hit first.
The differences that matter
One is a project tool, one is not
Ubersuggest organises work around projects, which it also calls brands: one on Individual, seven on Business, fifteen on Enterprise, each with tracked keywords, competitors and page scans for its audit, per its pricing page. Keywords Everywhere has no projects. Its FAQ states that it is not a rank tracker and sends you to a separate free tool for that. If you report on a site every month, that one fact settles a lot.
A meter against a daily cap
Keywords Everywhere spends a credit for each keyword it shows: one on a YouTube or Amazon search, where a single volume sits under the search bar, and one for every keyword in the widgets on a Google results page, per its pricing FAQ. Ubersuggest caps searches per day instead: 150 on Individual, 300 on Business and 900 on Enterprise. A daily cap forgives a heavy week; a yearly meter rewards a light one.
Who can automate it
Keywords Everywhere publishes a REST API and an MCP server that share the extension's key and credits, per its MCP page. Ubersuggest's pricing FAQ says it has no API access plans available at the moment. If your content work runs through scripts or an AI assistant, only one of these plugs in.

Read in USD on 24 October 2026, on the Keywords Everywhere pricing page and the Ubersuggest pricing page. The top Keywords Everywhere tier, Platinum, runs to $1,440 a year. Ubersuggest's page opened on the lifetime tab, under a countdown banner announcing that the lifetime offer ends soon.
A countdown on a pricing page is there to shorten the decision, and here it sits beside the one purchase that cannot be refunded. That is the vendor's interest, stated as a structure. Yours is to take the monthly trial first and let the timer run out if it has to.
An agent step, from the side that has one
Keywords Everywhere's MCP page lists requests such as which keywords a given domain ranks for, its estimated organic traffic, and how many credits remain on the account. A useful run: the assistant pulls the ranking keywords of two competitors, removes overlaps with your own list and returns the gap with volumes. A person then strikes out the branded and irrelevant terms before anything becomes a brief. Ubersuggest's pricing FAQ lists no API plans, so there is no agent step to show on that side.
Choose Keywords Everywhere if your job is
- Checking demand for topics, products or ad keywords while you browse.
- Sharing keyword data with a team of up to 20 on one yearly plan.
- Pulling keyword volumes into scripts or an AI assistant.
Choose Ubersuggest if your job is
- Looking after one to fifteen sites, each with its own tracked keywords and audit.
- Paying monthly while you test, with the option of a lifetime licence later.
- Getting AI search visibility and an SEO to-do list from the same login.

FAQ
Can I get a refund on Ubersuggest's lifetime plan?
No. Its pricing FAQ says lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable, and recommends using the one-time 7-day free trial on a monthly plan first.
Does Keywords Everywhere track rankings like Ubersuggest?
No. Ubersuggest tracks keywords inside each project, and the free account adds weekly tracking. Keywords Everywhere's FAQ rules rank tracking out of the extension and offers a free stand-alone checker for it.
Which gives more searches for the money?
It depends on the pattern. Ubersuggest Individual allows 150 searches a day for $29 a month, per its pricing page. Keywords Everywhere's Bronze plan holds 100,000 credits a year, and how many searches that buys depends on how many keywords each page shows.
